hedonistic:Please, you people should not persecute him. Remember he is still innocent until proven guilty by a competent court of justice. And conceening his number of lawyers, is it your money? He is paying them and he is not complaining, remember they are there for his defence. Lets not also forget that he is not only fighing for his name, he is also fighting for the legacy of the "SARAKI'S DYNASTY". Knowing fully well that his father was once a public office holder like him. As for me i believe that Dr. Bukola Saraki is politically peraecuted by his enemies |

The youth are as well not left out in the ongoing run of the Holy Year of Mercy Jubilee. Pope Francis in a message dated January 6 and released on January 13 that he wrote to all young boys and girls, has called on all youth to take full part in this year’s Jubilee of God’s Mercy. In respect to the papal message, a Jubilee for Boys and Girls will take place in Rome from 23rd April to 25th April. Below is the Holy Father’s Full message to the Youths: Dear Young Friends, The Church is celebrating the Holy Year of Mercy, a time of grace, peace, conversion and joy. It is meant for everyone: people of every age, from far and near. There are no walls or distances which can prevent the Father’s mercy from reaching and embracing us. The Holy Door is now open in Rome and in all the dioceses of the world. This grace-filled moment also concerns you, dear young people. I encourage you to take an active part in this celebration and to realize that each of you is a child of God (cf. 1 Jn 3:1). I would like to invite you, one by one, calling you by name, as Jesus does each day. For you know that your names are written in heaven (Lk 10:20), in the heart of the Father, that Merciful Heart which is the source of all reconciliation and kindness. The Jubilee is a year-long celebration, in which every moment becomes a chance for us to grow in holiness. It is a time when we can discover that life together as brothers and sisters is like a great party, perhaps the most beautiful party we can imagine, the endless party that Jesus has taught us to celebrate by his Spirit. The Jubilee is the party to which Jesus invites us all, without excluding anyone. That is why I also wanted to have some days of prayer and celebration with you. I am looking forward to seeing many of you in April. “Merciful like the Father". This is the theme of the Jubilee, but it is also the prayer we make for all of you as we welcome you in the name of Jesus. To be merciful means to grow in a love which is courageous, generous and real. It means to grow physically and spiritually. You are preparing to be Christians capable of making courageous choices and decisions, in order to build daily, even through little things, a world of peace. Yours is a time of life which is full of amazing changes. Everything seems possible and impossible all at once. I repeat what I said to some of your friends: “Remain steadfast in the journey of faith, with firm hope in the Lord. This is the secret of our journey! He gives us the courage to swim against the tide. Pay attention, my young friends: to go against the current; this is good for the heart, but we need courage to swim against the tide. Jesus gives us this courage! … With him we can do great things; he will give us the joy of being his disciples, his witnesses. Commit yourselves to great ideals, to the most important things. We Christians were not chosen by the Lord for little things; push onwards toward the highest principles. Stake your lives on noble ideals" (Homily at the Conferral of the Sacrament of Confirmation, 2013). Here I cannot forget those of you who are living in situations of war, extreme poverty, daily troubles and loneliness. Don’t ever lose hope! The Lord has a great dream which, with your help, he wants to come true! Your friends, young people your age living in less trying conditions than your own, have not forgotten you; they are working for peace and justice for everyone everywhere. Don’t be taken in by the messages of hatred or terror all around us. Instead, make new friends. Give of your time and always show concern for those who ask your help. Be brave and go against the tide; be friends of Jesus, who is the Prince of Peace (cf. Is 9:6). “Everything in him speaks of mercy. Nothing in him is devoid of compassion" (Misericordiae Vultus, .I realize that not all of you can come to Rome, but the Jubilee is truly for everyone and it is also being celebrated in your local Churches. You are all invited to this moment of joy. Don’t just prepare your rucksacks and your banners, but your hearts and your minds as well. Think carefully about the hope and desires you will hand over to Jesus in the Sacrament of Reconciliation and in the Eucharist which we will celebrate together. As you walk through the Holy Door, remember that you are committing yourselves to grow in holiness and to draw nourishment from the Gospel and the Eucharist, the Word and the Bread of life, in order to help build a more just and fraternal world. May the Lord bless your journey towards the Holy Door. I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide your steps and enlighten you. For you and your families, and for all who help you to grow in goodness and in grace, may the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of us all, be a true Door of Mercy. Fourth you promised to make 1 dollar =1 naira. Please Nigerians what is happening? Please Mr. President #tyrant, please if u can't deliver kindly step aside and allow another person to move us forward. By 2019 you will come back to us with another set of lies for us to believe. WE ARE WATCHING YOU. |
She is getting what is deserved, a political prostitute |
My brother Chief Olisa Metuh, I admire your courageous spirit even on the face of a tyrant government that we are te facing now, all I can I will ask of u is to be strong for very soon you shall be vindicated. |
TonyeBarcanista:@Tonybarcanista u always sound PRO-APC in all your statement concerning PDP. If to say u the Yamaha reach u. U for no dey talk like dis, APC notion of Change has so much brain-washed u that u can no longer no the difference between a media campaign of hate against PDP and a substantive evidence against a person. Bros reason well next time before u write. |
Please charge him to court ASAP and stop all this Una media prosecution, am gradually losing faith in this so called EFCC and their fight against corruption. If he (Olisa Metuh) has been found guilty carry am go court and sentence him, so that then we can start calling him a thief and looter. As for nw that man is innocent as Buhari. PERIOD |
panachuku:Everything for naija now nah corruption, see Una myopic mindset, Chai!! !! Follower of illiterate, dem Don brain wash Una sotay every help and a person wants to render anoda person nw nah corruption |
Gov. Dickson 's win is a true testament that our great party PDP is not dead as the rumor been paddled some APC miscreants. Ride on able Governor. we understand the South East and South South are for the PDP, APC should take the lies to those idle idiots in the North and West not us. Once more congrats Governor Dickson. we are coming for that Presidential sit in 2019 |
Please let them free the Mr Nnamdi Kanu of a person let him go. Even they have evidence against him let them take up his case in the court of law and stop delaying his trial. I think he has tasted enough suffering to know where to draw a line. |
My broda Fayose has said it all. Until his so called anti - corruption fight is holistic, I think he should focus on revamping the economy. Even wen Jonathan administration was in power, this same corruption was on and yet the economy was vibrant. Buhari knows nothing but de-marketing Nigeria to international investors. |
PassingShot:Guy why u dey talk from both side of your lips, the same u APC people said u are going to fight corruption, the same u APC people said that none of ministers is corrupt guilty and and now EFCC has seconded Una lies by saying that there is corruption charges against u people. And nw an idle idiot like u is saying that each state should prosecute the corrupt people at state level. Every soon Mr. Lie (Lai Mohammed) will come and say Amaechi is innocent. I don't know who u people are deceiving ooooo. |

Late Wednesday night, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) widened its reach in arresting suspects in the $2.1b arms deal with former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki at the centre of it. The arrest of Brig. Gen. Jafaru Isa, an associate of President Muhammadu Buhari and former military governor of Kaduna State was the first of such of a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Gen. Isa therefore becomes the first chieftain of the APC arrested by the EFCC since the beginning of the sweeping onslaught on persons involved in the alleged diversion of $2.1 billion meant for arms purchase by officials of the past administration of President Goodluck Jonathan administration. The APC chieftain now a guest of the EFCC was the Military Administrator of Kaduna State from December 1993 to August 1996 during the military regime of Gen. Sani Abacha. At a point, he was a very senior member of the CPC, Buhari’s party that later aligned with other opposition fronts to form the APC on whose platform he contested the gubernatorial election of Kano State. Our sources also disclosed that Isa is a very close friend of Dasuki, the embattled former NSA. It was from his residence in Asokoro, Abuja that EFCC operatives picked him up that night and took him away to their office. Our sources stated that EFCC operatives invaded his residence around 9pm, and took him away a few minutes later. Before his arrest, EFCC sources noted that Isa had been invited to appear before the commission on the same Wednesday he was arrested. But rather than comply with the invitation, he reportedly wrote the commission through his lawyer. From EFCC facts after investigation, Isa allegedly received about N100m tagged questionable from Dasuki. A postponement of the invitation he sought through the letter authored by his lawyer was not an acceptable offer to the EFCC, reason they later picked him up to answer to the allegations against him. EFCC’s dissatisfaction with Isa’s stance and response, according to its spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, led to his arrest to clarify the ‘questionable receipts’ from Dasuki. As he remains in EFCC detention, the commission noted that investigations into the allegations against him would continue http://sunnewsonline.com/new/dasukigate-efcc-arrests-buharis-associate/ |
OgbeifunErom:Oga before use start calling hi m names let the court first find him guilty, these days am loosing faith in the independence of the judiciary. After nw wen the court says he is innocent, Una tyrant president will still detain him. The only reason Olisa Metuh is arrested is because he opposes buhari's dictorial leadership style. They are silently killing the gains the PDP made in democracy. I will rest Mt vase here. Until further notice |

Why should they be settling nw? After all the media abuses David poured on her. If I were to be her, the only agreement is first to apologize to me in the media then give me back my baby, not me coming to see here weneva I like, there is a difference between the two conditions. |
tubouncen:Me and you we get anything b4?? |
hopilo:This EFCC of a body sef. They are jst a hand tool the president and his cohorts are using to arrest and tarnish the image of his perceived political enemies. Can someone jst take a holistic look at the list if people they have arrested so far, they are all from PDP. Are there EFCC are trying to tell that no past governor from APC is corrupt guilty? Even those who cross-carperted to the APC? Please let's stop all this hogwashing and winch - hunting of Innocent people and focus on revamping our dead economy. |
