Very reliable car .. We have owned the 03 model bought brand new since 2004 , car still runs till this moment .. Parts used to be pricey but are now relatively cheap. We have changed most things in the legs .. In the engine compartment we have changed radiator , alternator , steering pump and timing belt once . Car still runs great and still a daily driver at almost 140,000 km.

Some other Toyotas have come and go yet the optima remains . Its an ageless beauty , nobody will steal it , no disturbance from the police ..

Fear not brother, the optima is a solid car , looks better and drives better than a Camry . I have a 2003 model bought brand new in 2004 , 12 years after it still drives well

Engine is still solid , just a few leg issues
I'm sure they have improved a lot in the newer models

Hi i own a kia enterprise ceo 98 model a mazda sentia derivative, built for s.korean market. Luxurious reliable n fun plus its a rear wheel drive with a v6. All great until i traveled n was away for about 2yrs serviced b4 i did. Upon returning i found out d key was missing called d key guy n he dis me a new one but the car refused to start and i noticed the key had no transponder i confronted him he told me the car has no transponder receiver and as a result no immobiliser, he advice i get a rewire n mechanic which i did and i have the fuel pump, ignition coil, nozzles and all but the engine wont crank. It only rolls and wont start, the rewire had me agree to work a different ecu which he and still no go please i need your help because my mechanic said the nozzles dont supply fuel. I need your help because am frustrated.

What could you possible want to buy for that car that is not in the Nigerian market? toyota from SA and one from the use will share all major parts, only a few slight modifications in ECU types and possibly emission components.

Have tried www.xportautoparts.com but the response I got was

"WE WILL NEED THE PART NUMBER FOR THE PARTS YOUR LOOKING FOR IN ORDER TO ASSIST. YOUR CAN LOCATE THIS FROM YOU LOCAL DELAER SINCE YOUR VEHICLE IS A NON USA SPECIFICATION MODEL"

Do u have any alternative online parts store or a way for me to get a list of all part numbers

I read Todd Lammle's book 3 times over and I labbed at least 3 hours on week days and 10 hours on weekends. I'm just happy my efforts came through. The guy at the centre where I wrote told me I should go back and study more if I wasn't sure I was ready enough, as Cisco had changed most of the exam questions. I didn't practice with dumps so I was quite certain. At some point during the exam I actually felt so sure that I was going to fail because the simulations were quite tricky. In the end I came through, I was the 3rd person to pass this week at the centre were I wrote out of 14 exam takers.
Special thanks to the OP @DanIndia because this thread was one of the things that inspired me to success. Talking and learning from you guys really helped. With hardwork and humility, you'd definitely succeed. I feel now I'm certified I can contribute more to this thread as someone who now has a Cisco ID, lol. I've started CCNP studying since last month, even though I wasn't CCNA certified yet, I intend to write that in February or March next year. I was also gonna do MCSE this year but so many people I know in the industry have advised me to take the Linux path first. I'm considering Comptia Linux. Anyways guys, once again I appreciate this thread much more than I can describe. If you love networking like I do, you'd understand if I call this thread my home on Nairaland. Good luck everybody! No the requirement is ur gce result with atleast a year transcript frm a university in nigeria. I.e u must av used a year in a university b4.
