The guy in the Jonathan poster seems to be laughing- at himself! |
Well done May Almighty God bless u! |
I passed this road last yr specifically in May and was shocked with what I saw. Cant believe its still this bad till now! |
I live in FHA Karu. We have elactricity for 6-8 hrs daily. This time last yr we had 18-20 hrs of electricity I wish Nnaji wld return and do his 'magic'. |
The funniest thread ever on Nairaland. |
Great thread! This happened last yr. Been looking for a part time job to supplement my income for almost 2yrs. After praying abt it for some time I recvd a revelation that I needed to sow a seed financially to make grace available for me. Things were quite tight then but God provided money miraculously and I took 50k and donated it to St. Vincent de Paul society { a catholic society that takes care of the poor}. A week later I was called to start work at a place I had been targeting for mths. I still hav the job till now and earn more than double my 'seed' monthly. GLORY BE TO GOD! |
Intriguing topic. Wonderful contributions. Some years ago I met this guy who had a medical condition and was to be sent abroad for treatment. He told me his elder brother was based in TAIWAN and sent my phone number to him so he would call and I'd explain things to him. The guy called the next day and spoke with a thick American accent such that I could barely understand him. Since then I've been wondering how someone can pick an American accent in TAIWAN! P.S. His younger brother confirmed that he had only left Nigeria for just over a yr and had never been to the USA. |
The first thing everyone must understand is that Keshi used this competition to experiment, esp in attack. This is understandable given the stage of evolution the team is at present. Obviously our attack was the weakest link- failing to convert chance after chance. Ujah, Akpala, Babatunde and Gambo have proved that they r not Super Eagle materials at this time. I'll b surprised if any one of them gets invited anytime soon. Ideye has good link up play but is not clinical in front of goal. Musa is very direct and threatens with his pace but has poor decision making, poor ball control and a suspect final ball. I hope to see a front 3 of Oduamadi,Emenike and Moses with Ike Uche just behind. On d bench shd b Musa, Anichebe, Odemwingie and Mba. I expect Keshi to use his man mgt skills to bring back Anichebe and Osaze cos there is no player that does not want to play in the World Cup! The heart and soul of d midfield is Mikel! My fear is that we r too reliant on him. What will happen to us if he is marked out or becomes injured as it was b4 the last world cup? Keshi shd seriously look at complementary or alternate players like Haruna Lukman, John Ogu or Joel Obi.Onazi was sorely missed and I really look forward to seeing Gabriel Reuben play again. Our defence did fairly well but looked a bit shaky when Omeruo left the pitch against Spain. Specifically the defence has to learn how to maintain full concentration for 90mins or more. In the goalkeeping dept , Enyeama and Ejide look very capable As a team, we really have to learn how to make use of set pieces. It was painful watching us waste freekick after freekick and corner after corner knowing that other teams need just one or at most 2 of these to score. This seems to be an age long problem cos Chris Ohenhen in the late 80's is the only Nigerian player I recall scoring regularly frm freekicks.By the same token we also have to defend set-pieces professionally so we don't concede cheap goals as we did against Tahiti and Spain [last goal]. All in all , it was not a bad performance but we know we can do better. At the World Cup next year, I believe we will! |
If what I read in this article is true, then we r in deep trouble in this country! Reading this article reminds me of a conversation I had with a few friends some years ago. One asked the question- will Nigeria remain like this till the world ends? Another replied: Nigeria has ended, we r just waitin for the rest of the world to catch up with us! |
We thank God for this victory and the three points! I also thank God that our first match was against Tahiti! Considering our next opponents, we really need to work on our finishing. Ideye, Musa and Ujah were embarrassingly profligate! |
Good job man! Hilarious stuff! |
Beautiful track and captivating video. Really impressed with Chidinma and tha SUSPECT. I expected a bit more with the punchlines from Ill bliss but he still repped well! |
1-1. Not a bad result but I think with a sharper attack we would have won! |
End of 1st half. Still nil nil |
Pls let's not be 2 hard on the @op 4 not raising alarm when he saw dis happening to anoda person. I believe that by raising this issue on this forum he has alerted many of us to this scam. Those who belong to the relevant security agencies can take it frm here. |
If I remember well, it is Lagos state govt thar prosecuted Bode George's case! |
And yes the filter has been changed |
To respond to some of the queries-it was vibrating on idle with the steering wheel jerking in motion b4 I CHANGED the fuel pump for the first time last mth. Meanwhile can anyone refer me to a good mech here in ABJ? |
Need help frm the auto gurus in the house. I acquired a toyota corolla 2005 in 2011. I had issues with the fuel pump in July 2012 & got an auto electrician to take a look. He said he fixed the problem by soldering the components and I continued with the car. I however noticed that sometimes when I step on the accelerator, it takes time to pick up speed. Last mth I drove to the airport 2 pick someone only for the car to refuse to start when I was ready to leave. Other motorists told me it was the pump and I got a mechanic who 'fixed'it but advised me to get a new one asap. I drove it 2 work the next day- a distance of abt 50km, but the car refused to to start when I tried to return home. I got a mech who cleaned the filter and started the car. As I dropped the guy at his w/shop the car refused to start. He then proceeded to give me another fuel pump with which I started d car. Few days later the car stopped while I was driving in town. I left the car for abt 1 hr, poured water into the radiator and started the car after noticing there was a leak in the water pump. I changed the water pump and asked another auto electrician to check the fuel pump. He said the new fuel pump as a fake and was the cause of the vehicle stopping mid drive He helped me get anoda which i used for abt 4 wks b4 the car stopped and refused to start while I was on the expressway frm work. I got a mechanic who checked and said d fuel pump was faulty and advised I get yet anoda. I did but the car again stopped and refused to start abt 10km away. I towed the car home and got a mech frm a toyota shop who took the fuel pump and casing for repairs. The car worked reasonably well for the first 2 days . On both days I drove to a destination , parked, spent 3-4hrs b4 re startingthe car without problems and returning home. On the 3rd day,on my way to work I STOPPED ABT 4KM FRM MY HOUSE TO GAUGE my tires. When the vulcaniser was thru, THE CAR REFUSED TO START. I CALLED THE mech who came abt 5hrs later and started the car in one attempt. WE then drove the car to his w/shop, abt 15km away without any problems to my surprise .He then said he wld change the spark plugs and clean the nozzles/injectors as those were likely the problems and not the fuel pump He assured I WLD have no problems after that. When he was done , I drove the car home without any problem .The next morning my wife drove the car to church but the car refused to start after the mass which was less than 1 hr. I went to pick the car in the evening abt 8hrs later and it started at the second attempt. I have parked d car at home since then. i BELIEVE THERE IS A FAULT WHICH KEEPS DAMGING THE FUEL PUMPS. What do u guys think? |
