Good afternoon experts in the house, pls I have a nissan versa 2008 model, I noticed about 2 weeks ago that d oil had leaked out overnight so I called a mechanic, we discovered it was from the fuel filter cos it was lose, we filled the oil and tightened it but once we started the engine, all d oil gushed out, we've changed d filter about 5 times now and it's doing d same thing. D mechanic has tried to check everything thing he knows but no luck at all. Once we start d engine, oil will gush out and waste away from d filter point. I'm getting frustrated cos d car is my source of income and I'm extremely broke right now. Pls sirs, could u tell me what could be wrong

the mechanic needs to know exactly where the oil is leaking out from.

Please gurus in the house, what could be responsible for the irregular sound being made by my car, when in neutral and park it begins the irregular noise but when in drive or reverse it doesn't make such noise.

sienna 2001 model.. my mechanic changed the drivers side shaft.. drove it around for 2days then boom the hub noise started like mad.. wat could be the issue.. was the hub faulty or did he do a shabby job which spoilt the hub. note hub was not bad prior to the shaft change.

It could be he used a new shaft that did not fit the hub hence the hub boris got bad....next time let him change the shaft with a genuine Toyota tokunbo shaft that will fit the hub.

Good evening sir , this evening as I went out , I pressed my break and started the car , I felt a vibration on the break pedal for some seconds then it stopped , when I wanted to come back , the same thing happened this time around I felt it up to the steering , note : this doesn't happen when I use the break on the way or on quick stops , cos I was stopped thrice by the police for normal paper check, I never felt the vibrations when I left after the paper check , I guess when I leave the car for a very long time it happens for some seconds or a minute then it stops ... Car is 2009 XLE toyota camry

Next, go get yourself a cheap scanner.
Scan the car.

Why did you change the airflow meter before....what was the symptoms of the car that made you change it.

Please an assistance is needed

My Hyundai Accent 2010 also has this low surge feel on idle and the RPM goes very low during idle too especially when AC is turned on.
After turning on the AC and even when AC is turned off, the idle keeps staying fairly rough and RPM keeps fluctuating between very low and medium.
What could be the issue?

It could be that there is so much dirt on the throttle body of the car....get a mechanic to use an injection cleaner to clean the throttle body and see whether it solves the problem.

Hi Guys,

I drive a toyota corolla 2004, i just changed my engine when the old engine was smoking. The old engine was working fine except for the smoke, after changing the engine, i discovered i couldn't go more than 60km/h and climbing hills becomes a problem.

I went back to the mechanic today to complain, so he checked the car with his machine and there was no error code on the machine.

He invited a gear mechanic to check the car and the man tested the car by driving it.,he told us that the problem is the car brain valve and i will need to change it.

My fear now is that i don't want to spend another money on the brain valve and the problem still remains.

Please kindly advise if i can go ahead.

I'm very certain it's not the brain valve since you dont have any code coming from the transmission.

Hello Everyone.

My Toyota Corolla 2009 makes some noise when you start the car without the Ac. When the Ac is on, It stops. The noise comes from the compressor area. The video is below. Please advise. Thanks

Take it to a mechanic.....they are going to remove the belt and inspect each of the rollers to check where the noise is coming from. We cannot be sure from this end.
