this is the mistake our policy makers always make. They copy and paste systems built for other places and it doesn't suit our traditional and economic realities.

How much is entry level jobs for fresh graduates. How far can it go in a month conservatively now add paying back loans you took for education.

Talking about West, they're currently struggling with student debts so much so that it has become part of their politics.

People who took the loans are asking for relief and people who didn't are saying it's a disenfranchisement on them who forgo education for other ventures.


But that's not my major concern here, it's the lack of employment opportunities for the graduates and the fact that most of our curriculum aren't suited for current world problems making employment more difficult.

The whole thing is basically built around political optics and not for the core benefits of the people. If the government is serious about uplifting the masses, let them provide cheap power so that manufacturers will thrive and be able to enploy people who will pay taxes to the government and increase the amount of money government can spend.

What happens in the next four years if the current recepients of the loans default and can't pay back? Where will the government get funds to continue such welfare programs?

If you look at the whole funding system of the student loans, it's not sustainable. Example is the reallocation of recovered loots from corrupt politicians. What happens if they get smarter and hide their loot better and the source dries out?

If you remove politics and apply logic, you will see that this whole thing is built on loose soil

Most people that are criticizing NELFUND today studied because there parents took loans from other sources, some studied because some family members come together for assistance, some people were able to resolve tertiary school fees because of the hard work they do both in school and at home like bricklayers, begging money from working class people, doing farming stuff,some by church assistance and today they are forming big mouth. it is far better for the parents to carry that burden than burden young people starting life with loans.

Imagine suffering underemployment and you still have to deal with loans on your monthly salary.

People will turn down level entry jobs because the moment you pick up the job, you have to start paying back loans and the salary can barely cover your basic needs

everyone isn't a political animal like you. What I said is my personal opinion based on my observations of the Nigerian people and our culture towards money.

How many people are gainfully employed in Nigeria or you haven't thought about life after education and repayment plan for the loan?

People should understand that this is a loan and not a grant. You're going to pay back this loan.

People who took COVID loans are coming to the internet to cry about it. We have a terrible attitude towards loans in Nigeria. Borrow your best friend money today and he becomes your enemy tomorrow.

If you can't afford education, do something else and don't start your life on a loan. Even in America, student loan is one of the biggest problems there even though you have better chances of getting decent jobs.

Meanwhile,we have continued work on the hand rails and lockup. I couldn't post pictures because we moved on to the mudane aspect of the job which is bending the rods into the desired designs.

But now,we got them completed and welded. We're now moving forward to the finishing which includes filing and painting

Meanwhile, I have procured sand, chippings, rods and cement for the foundation works

I want to attempt a different approach to this. We will adopt the a different style to get it to work.

First of all, we pack all surrounding sands very far from the location of the tank stand. Then we dig it again but this time,we will protect the surrounding environment with marine boards so that even if the walls collapse again, the marine boards will protect the very space we're working on.

That's one part of the method that I am attempting. Further information will be passed down as we continue working so as not to make this a very long read.
