Politics / Re: See The Electricity Rates In USA And Why Nigerians Should Not Pay Above 66 Naira by michlins(m): 6:54pm On Apr 05 |
Since when did we start spending dollars in Nigeria that the government will be using dollar as benchmark to charge electricity bill. Pay workers using dollar rates and charge accordingly. Unlike developed economies, Nigeria is still blessed with insane resources which are more than enough to power our cities and still be charged based on our income as a people. Just so you know,we have gas, solar, oceans for wind and coal plus water for dams. The masses are made to pay for the incompetence of the government. When government was embezzling the funds meant for the power sector, the masses were not party to it. So why should the masses made to pay. Just before you think you're not affected because you are currently not in band A, your power provider can decide today to upgrade you against your will and you will be made to pay the insane rates with your meager income |

Politics / Re: NERC: Electricity Tariff Increase Would Reduce Grid Collapses, Enhance Supply by michlins(m): 8:07am On Apr 05 |
The reasons they gave for the hike in prices have nothing to do with the ordinary masses. We didn't increase inflation, devalue the naira nor increase inflation in the US. The failure of the government should not be suffered by the masses. Government should first of all increase the income of the populace before increasing their bills. But watch as they will spin this into a tribal affair and watch how the poor masses will rise up and fight against each other while groaning under intense suffering 1 Like 1 Share |

The same people who are celebrating that this young man won,if you ask them to come out and vote, they will give you a litany of reasons why they won't. 61% of eligible voters voted but here in Nigeria, election day is a public holiday. If the masses vote en masse, it will be very difficult for anyone to rig the election. Congratulations to Faye |

There was no single mention of the planets and galaxies. But that's not why we're here. Just believe in God and don't try to verify the Bible stories. You will fall out of faith |

naijapikin2:just because he's not telling you how he drank tea with God or how your tithe is the key to unlocking your wealth. The thing about some Nigerians is that even if you point out the flaws in them, they would rather want to remain in bounds than accept freedom. They will even fight you for trying to liberate them. God is fully sufficient,he doesn't need your tithe, offerings and prayers to remain God. He's God on his own not because of mere mortals 8 Likes |
Romance / Re: Why I Won’t Give My Husband A Child Until After 4 Years – Nigerian Lady Shares by michlins(m): 6:53pm On Apr 02 |
Remove womb watchers, this is what every newly wed needs. Use the four years to get to acclimatize and see if you're ready to add an innocent person into the mix. Once a woman puts to bed, her attention to her husband drops by over 60%. Work and housekeeping plus motherhood will take priority for her. The husband on the other hand will feel neglected and start cheating. This is a marriage that the cement used for the foundation is yet to dry at all. This is the prevailing reason divorce is high now. Unlike before when our mothers stay at home, women now work just like the man, take care of the house, her family and the burden is transferred to the stability of the marriage. But what do I know? 3 Likes 1 Share |
