OP, I think you shouldn't be surprised by her behavior it was glaring before you got married and it seems like what you will have to live with. I hate that my partner would have rare psychological behaviors just as your wife has Scopophobia. And I think people are taking things out of context here, this has nothing to do with permission, you do a lot of things without each permission, out rational thinking, you know what is permissive. There're friends you have, when you want to do something, you know you need to inform them about it, while some you feel there's no need and your friends don't mind. Flaunting your partner not just friend can be out of happy motive. So OP, now that you've seen how paranoid your partner can be over such things, I'd advice, you don't do such till it is fine with her (I mean she has finally overcome Scopophobia). |
Enter bus to ojota from ikorodu garage, when you get there, enter ikeja going to computer village. |
This made me remember a particular thread. A man said his friend found out that his wife was pregnant and she aborted the pregnancy and he never knew about it. He got to find out when he saw the test result in her car. Almost, if not 95% of the females on nairaland, came out defending the woman, saying things like 1. The wife must be stressed out. 2. The wife doesn't want to go through the stress that comes with pregnancy again. 3. She doesn't want to be tied down, she probably has some goals she wants to achieve. And so on. It was that day I got to know that married women commit abortion more than unmarried women. (Well according to what this women were saying) According to nairaland ladies its a norm in the society when it comes to married women. Why the double standard? And by the way, I'm against abortion. |
Another one. Nairaland like story sha. I think someone is trying to spread an idealogy or believe. There are some people here I believe are trying to make up stories to paint woman bad. Just take note and you would know. |
![]() The way nairalanders believe stories ehn. Ẹ don dey become too much self. I have noticed since the beginning of this year, most stories here are fiction. Some will even take out time to put a related picture underneath, who get that time? |
The most common cause of traffic in Lagos is too many vehicles on the road, also fewer road networks. During the early few days in January, come and see how free the road is, and that's because most road users have gone to their villages for the holiday. I think more road network will solve some of our problems of traffic jams, most especially flyovers. |
Should the government now be happy that the insecurity on the road is going to make more for them on the rails? This is sad. |
Hmm. So it's fine for married couples to go through abortion but unmarried can't. From what I'm reading here... |
I remember when this guy brought out this dance people for nairaland dey complain anyhow say this dance na craze. Now see how everyone is dancing it. If you like shout immoral dance. More people will continue dancing it. So why won't people continue promoting nonsense since that's what is selling. The owner of this dance is just trying to sell. FYI, I don't listen to Nigerian music neither worldly. |

Not sure you are aware of the crazy things musicians do to glorify the devil. jesusjnr2:God never showed us in anywhere, how to turn stones to bread. It was the devil that did. And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. Luke 4:3 These songs can be so melodious and come with inspirational lyrics, but we have to be careful to read between the lines. |
Finding a good wife shows that you've been favoured by God. Indeed has found a good thing. Not the other way round. |
This is something that I have noticed from so many people. Whenever a leader (pastor, evangelist, teacher) makes a mistake, people will come out to call him fake. How does making a mistake as a child of God automatically turns you to a fake child of God. There are many examples of men of God in the bible that made mistakes, and still, didn't make them fake. Abraham, David, Elijah, Elisha, Moses... etc. It is okay to make mistake an ordinary member in the church but as a leader you are fake; very sacarstic. We should understand that this people are humans also and they have the same body that we do, they even fall into greater temptation. It all takes grace to move ahead. I should come back to write a detailed post (with scriptures) on this. |
Mynd44:Same can be said of the president too. |
hoopLA:That's not the point and you know it. The way your conscience react to certain sin shows they are different in its weight but still sin. You still get punished but the punishment is not the same. Please see Matthew 18:6 for more clarification. |
I have always told people that say sin is sin that not all sin are the same. Jesus said how greater the punishment for those that lead others into sin. Nice one Op Happy Sunday. |
