Yes. She has to first choose a date (the next available date on the calendar) before requesting emergency appointment. Once she submits the emergency request along with a brief explanation on why she needs the request and uploading essential documentation, she can await response within 2 business days.

If approved, then she can cancel the appointment and book a closer date that has been made available to her.

If you wouldn't mind please, I'd like to ask one more question, incase you had any idea about this.
Since her initial appointment was scheduled for the Lagos consulate and she filled a DS-160 for that and they have now cancelled the appointment, is it possible/sensible/safe to now pick a new date this time in Abuja, and fill out a new DS-160?
I'm asking because I want to know if it would be a problem to fill out a fresh DS-160 document and schedule in Abuja.
If this is would not be an issue with the embassy or during her interview, then the safest bet would be schedule a new appointment in Abuja.
I'll really appreciate your insights.

Hi,

Many F-1 appointments in July were cancelled, initiated by the Consulate.

She can use any or combination of the following options on her profile:

1. Emergency Request option to get a closer date.

2. Schedule a new date in either Lagos Consulate or Abuja Embassy and continue to monitor the calendar for a closer date so she can easily reschedule using the reschedule option.

August dates were released 2 days ago for Abuja and filled up fast!

Please, my wife just called me with tears, complaining that her F1 visa interview date initially scheduled for July 16th was suddenly cancelled. Her resumption date is sometime in 3rd week of August.
If you have ever been in this situation, please what did you do to resolve it?

Good evening sir,

1. Since you have the valid referral note for the inspection already with you, the camera cannot fine you again for an expired roadworthiness certificate. but you must make sure that you go for inspection before the expiry date on the referral note.

2. Private vehicle roadworthiness validity is for 12 months (one year). maybe you went for the inspection a month after the issuance of the referral note. (roadworthiness validity counts from the date of the issuance of the referral note)

Thank you sir. I went dirt the last inspection as soon as i got my referral note, wasn't a month after. And i got my referral note before my road worthiness document at that time even expired. It was an error om their part, but can anything be done to rectify it? I was hoping they can check on their database to see the error and correct it. You know how it is with vehicle licence or insurance, even if you renew before or after expiry, the date remains the same.

Hi Gazzuzz, please what does it mean for my dash lights to be flickering like that? Like there's a current issue or something? I have a code P0012 actualy which needs fixing but this dashboard lights flashimg like that just started yesterday morning. And the car gives a jerk at intervals when I'm not moving. The moment I get driving fast, it does not jerk. Even with the code, it has never done this till yesterday morning. What might be the cause please? Good evening sir, i just came accroas this thread and great job so far. I have two questions, hopefully you get to respond soon.

1. I have a referal note to go get my VIS road worthiness inspection done, and my xurrent certificate expires tomorrow 19th. If I don't get to go for the inspection maybe because of work demands and I drive my car after the certificate expires on the 19th (tomorrow), say Im driving on the 20th or 21th, would.that be an offence? Would the cameras run my plate and give me a fine even as I have a valid referral note for inspection?

2. During my las VIS inspection, the centre I visited in Surulere renewed my road worthiness for 11 months instead of 12 months. My road worthi ess shouldn't expire till march normally. Is this something that can be corrected? Because usually, all my papers expire at the same time in march and it makes it easy for me to just remember and renew all.at once.

I'll really appreciate your attention to these questions.

Were you able to log into the portal top do the necessary updates and uploads before proceeding for screening? I'm confused because till now, I haven't been able to log in. I'm wondering if I'm just supposed to proceed for screening like that or wait till i can log in. I've sent them a mail but haven't received any response yet.

Same story,
Logged on, system couldn't load my script.
Error message kept popping.
I tried on my phone, first question came up, then error again.
The next log in shows time elapsed.

Throughout this period, I was mailing and calling but no positive help

I emailed the dean, copied the sub dean, ict and admissions department, all of pg school, i got a response from admissions 10 minutes later rescheduling me for 10am tomorrow. . Try this out, nobody should get locked out like that without an opportunity to decide their own fate. I'm guessing their servers had problems.

I got a good quiet space , no physical interference, tested my audio and video as I should and started my exam. I got logged out almost immediately after answering my first question with an error message i didn't really understand. I thought that was a one off.

I thought it was a bad joke. Maybe I was leaning forward when I shouldn't, I redid the audio and video checks again and this time I made sure i sat still without any form of head or body movement. I logged in and on resending the answer to my first question, i got logged out again.

I tried logging in over and over, i kept getting logged out before i even finished reading my question. I clicked on the button to contact whomever was suposedly supervising, i only got a reply one time. Before i could respond, i got logged out again.

This was the story of my exam for 30 whole minutes.

I tried using my phone, used two laptops, changed network and it was as if i was the target recipient of some kinda server error from their own end. I even tried randomly selecting options to see if I could at least finish and leave it to luck, with all the logging out and in (i must have been logged out about 30 times or even more, atleast once every 10 or 15 seconds cuz I lost count) but nothing worked.

I didn't read more than the first 3 questions before trying everything possible to salvage the situation, because as soon as I realised 20 minutes had already counted down and I had only been able to answer 3 questions, panic set in.

Long story short, i did everything possible, i have no idea what exactly happened because as far as I know every damn thing was perfectly set in place for me to log in, write my exam and get out. I randomly answered questions 4-11 after being logged out and logging back in over and over and over.

My worst exam experience ever in every sense of the word. I wish y'all who would still write the best. I didn't even get a chance in the first place.

It was one of their contacts provided on the first exam notification i received. It's also on the website.

The link to the exam is a general one and not specific to each person. All you need to do is log in and skip the audio test to reveal your exam schedule..

Log in and skip the media test, you will see the schedule. Acturial Science is not also on their website but I logged in to see my time and date. Just skip that media test, it doesn't mean you are starting the exam yet.

Please guys, this Medical Microbiology thingy is giving me sleepless nights. How would they not send us a schedule for our own exams like they sent others or include it online with others? After sending mails and WhatsApp messages, they told me it's being worked on, and this morning I woke to a WhatsApp message from one of the numbers i messaged giving me the same exam link that was posted here.

Now the question is, what's the date and time for our exam? They keep saying "your exam scheduled date and time can also be retrieved there" yet when you try, all you see is the audio and video test page. Is someone supposed to tap "proceed" when they say we should only start the test at our scheduled date and time? Or are we to assume that the date and time for Medical Microbiology is also the same with that of medical parasitology? I no dey understand all these kind things mehn. If anybody tapped proceed on that test page, what was the next thing you saw? Exam schedule? Or the exam itself? Abeg help o!

Clearly your mechanics don't know how to diagnose. So let's just nuke the problem .

Replace fans, replace radiator (brand new pls), replace and sand out all coolant joints made of aluminium, install Toyota coolant.

Good morning boss, and thank you so much for this thread. Chatted you up on WhatsApp this morning and decided to redirect my questuons here for your advice.

I've been driving my tokunbo 07 Corolla S car for almost two years on these ride hailing platforms and never had a single overheating problem till two weeks ago.

First time it happened, i noticed the hose which takes water to the reserve tank had bursted open and was letting off hot air, i managed to patch it, poured some water and replaced the hose immediately I got to my destination.

Overheating stopped till this monday in traffic, i noticed the temperature gauge rising above the halfway mark just as I got out of some traffic. At the time I got off the expressway and parked, it had almost gotten to the red mark,so I did the needful and went straight to my mechanic. I was asked to replace the radiator cap, they also noticed that the small hose which led to the reserve tank had a minor cut so it was fixed.

The next day (Tuesday) in traffic on third mainland bridge, i kept watching the gauge till it started rising. I stopped my car, did what I had to do and went back to my mechanic. This time, they removed the radiator and on checking, they noticed it had been clogged with dirt so they washed it off completely and replaced it.

On wednesday, i kept checking the coolant level after every stop I made, everything was normal and didn't show any funny temperature rise till I got in traffic sometime that evening. That was when I noticed the the temperature rose above the halfway mark but never got to the red line. I parked and left my car with ac running for almost 15 minutes to see if the temperature would eiae further but it didn't, so I drove home.

As soon as I started speeding down the road, the temperature gauge went back to the half mark. The coolant level was also normal as I checled later when the engine cooled off. I woke this morning to check the water level and it was unchanged from the way it was after parking yesterday evening.

The problem is, i have never seen my car's temperature gauge rise beyond the halfway mark till recently, so what could be wrong? Could you kindly offer some advise as I intend visiting a proper autoshop to fix whatever problem it may have?

PS: the mechanics checked to remove the thermostat but noticed it was already missing, probably the dealers i bought it from had already taken it off, there are no visible leaks on my radiator, and the integrity of all the hoses seem just fine, no leakages.

Depending on how you define mercilessly, from my experience, nobody is invincible, and the scoreline can be up to 4-0 sef occasionally.
However, when it's constant flogging between two opponents like A winning all the 4 matches against B with 3 goals difference and above, that is flog mercilessly, and I doubt one can beat me like that.

If you come knocking on that door, you might just be surprised at who comes answering and the kinda beating they bring along with them.

This is our problem, everybody wants to go there and "do as they like" because others have done it before.
