My dear fellow applicant(s), if you're waiting for apl to decide when you'll move on or not move on, you'll just be setting yourself up for unnecessary depression. I'll advise you keep your mind paired, stay productive and not stay waiting for this thing to decide for you. I realised my life has been a whole lot better since i stopped following this thread keenly. All i do is just show up once in three or four days and jump straight to the last page. The first two comments i set my eyes on tel me all i need to know, and afterwards, I'm off again till the next week. Hoping for the best but being mentally prepared for the worst is the way to survive this.

Typical scenario to explain the "medicine after death" adage. If this was an exam, or a very crucial interview, that's how you'll have failed with "so much pride and confidence" cuz you simply would not have properly read what you were supposed to, before jumping to supply your answers.

Better to read or listen properly, take a few seconds to process information, and then react in a constructive manner.

Faceless forum or not, it's not right to come here and lay yourself bare. No matter what you think u have achieved before now, it doesnt count one bit in this NNPC recruimtent. its a Federal Government Graduate Trainee recruitment and doesn't really care about your FAMED super intelligence, past achievements, or historical innuendo. If the GT slots are only for those with "supernatural" brains, then NNPC wouldnt have made it open to 2.1 and 2.2...... its a national cake and every nigerian graduate from any ethnic group or tribe and state in general has an equal right to it..

The final selection is based on several in-house factors that we and I repeat, WE do not know anything about. MARK MY WORDS, many applicants who are nothing in terms of the above listed traits (first class, Super intelligentz,, many projects achieved,, past acievements etc) will get this job and many who are already feeling like their own is too much will not get even TF not to talk more of APL. (not cursing nobody but fact) .

I see some people have even already been crowned with the APL letters by other ppl here.. nice one. some people here believe in other members in this thread more than they believe in themselves, saying things like "if Oga J**** or Oga M***** or Oga N**** don't get APL, den no hope for me (a pity).

some are just filled with negativity, anxiety and thoughts of failure because of their inferiority complex and lack of hope and they come to this thread to fill others with their fears..(and fear does spread like wildfire)

I have seen some even boasting that they might not accept the offer if they get the APL. (Wow, and yet you went through the stress from the application process down to the final stage, Kudos. And yet you are always on nairaland every day commenting and earnestly waiting for the APL with others.) I just hope those particular ones show us the Proof of their APL before they reject the offer sha.

HEAR THIS... NNPC APL will humble most enigmas here..

Some are just looking for any comment that will favour them and then they take it up and spread it more.. Those that have received TF are busy looking for theories that will say that TF & APL are not correlated.. those that have not received TF are busy hyping the theory that said TF is sent to unsuccessful candidates..

You forget that it is not by your power nor your intelligence alone that u have reached this stage.. anybody who has reached this stage of WAITING FOR APL should be congratulated.. 1st Class or no First Class, Intelligent Guru or not..

Do YOU KNOW that data released after the application portal was closed revealed that OVER 5 million applicants applied for GT alone. u all applied and were among that number.. but only about 60 to 70 thousand applicants were invited for CBT, ( about 10k candidates were reported to be posted to each center). u went for the CBT and were among the around 9 to 10 thousand lucky ones invited for interview... why not continue believing in urself and the grace that brought you this far and stop looking for Infos, theories and comments that would only create more fear in you and increase your anxiety. Pray and believe. AND if u don't believe in any God or god, den believe in your guts...

This superficial ranking and his hyping of people here should stop. During induction a lucky first class applicant would be standing close to a lucky 2.1 applicant who would also be standing close to another lucky 2,2 applicant and you will all start from the same entry level and receive the same amount salary, ur past achievement would not count.. AT ALL.

I heard that a candidate's overall score determines whether the candidate works in the upstream, midstream or downstream. Anyone with legit info should kindly clarify.

Please is there anyone that uses or has used that car or knows better and can advise? I wanna know if this is a car that can also hold its own with the hassles of the business. I also saw a job advert from this RS Consulting on one of the popular job websites and you know, since it's a job website that usually posts credible ads, I sent my application, otherwise I never apply when I see a job ad starting something like "Our client is a leading Nigerian pharmaceutical company". Why do they have to hide the client's name?

It's only a lesson for you, next time, irrespective of where you find yourself, whether exams or any other life situation, one thing is very important, read instructions first before proceeding. Intelligent people have failed woefully several times because they're guilty of just jumping to answer questions without first taking a few seconds to read instruction. Take heed for the future

Your post really did hit me hard. I cannot offer any insight to you, really. I was invited for the on-demand video kini something, on the 19th but didn't submit till 00:04 hours on deadline day 22nd. I received an invite for the business games, 4pm, that day.

With such things, maybe could be providence, but I am truly sorry they have kept you in limbo. I don't know how the algorithm works, as some people had business game invite prior to doing the virtual interview.

Don't lose hope...but pursue other opportunities whilst at it. Cheers.

Yeah i know it happens Bro, it's just one disappointment (that's if it's even a disappointment at all). Im certified in Microbiology and Brewing, and i really dreamt day and night of Ab Inbev since i got wind of the GMT opportunity. If nothing happens, if i still don't receive a reply, life just has to move on. But to give up hope? What would i still be doing on earth without hope? I wish you guys the best.

I really don't wanna feel disappointed cuz i had serious hopes. Submitted my on-demand video interview on the morning of 21th August with the deadline being 22nd, 11:33am and after passing through two nights without sleep to prepare. There was no success or failure reply, else i was sure of being in the last business games too, I'm sure I'm not the only one in this. Peeps here have helped with info in the past, I feel Michael and the others have a right to share or not share, the competition is stiff and its understandable. But a little tip won't hurt, atleast for the sake of learning something from this.

I faced the same challenge initially like two times and i started thinking my village people had remembered me. So I logged out of the app, restarted my phone and logged back in. When I clicked the submit button that time, it started uploading, though very slowly. Before you log in after restarting your phone, i suggest you set your phone's display timeout to the maximum, and once you start uploading, try keeping the display on and have some patience. It might take from a few minutes to one or two hours to complete, depending on how good or crappy your network is. I I'm hoping you've already uploaded by now though.
