Very well written. I agree with the outlined points. Most people don't know that, when your engine gets to this un-fixable stage, such engine should be dumped instantly but then, some wicked naija mechanics would tell you, "oga, nor worry, I go fix am for you." At that point, na big hole you dey play with for your pocket ooo. |
Brilliant!!! May the gods bless this prof! |
^ *sprinkles holy water* In Jesus' voice, rise up in lazarus style!!!!! |
I agree with the writer. Forever, I gbadun Mode9. I had never really liked ruggedy jare! Mode9 is a rapper. Ruggedy is a noise maker. Blending his sytle of rap with "danceable" beat would rake in more money for node9. With all the "commercialisation" of rugged man, how much money has he made for himself? |
In Dbanj's voice; olorun maje! In patience okwonsor's voice; tufiakwa! In my wife's voice; don't try that nonsense in this house oo. Wetin we nor go see? |
Well, its a good start ooo. party is all about institution, nobody should personalise it. Thank you. |
I agree with you! The importance of water intake can't be over-emphasised. I drink about 11 glasses of water per day and ofcourse, I can do more. Thanks for sharing. |
Nice one and I must commend the move. It was like that when I was growing up. I had the opportunity of entering railway compound at Ebute Mette because my father worked there. On this and in a long while, I must give gEJ a point! What's good is good, weldone. |
No way because, its transparent. Apart from how transparent is it, I like how it clutches to the body. |
Na wah o! This one wey everybody dey turn gay so, are we sure there's nothing out there changing the se.xu.al orientation of people? I am not a conspiracy theorist oooo! In femi kuti's voice; wonder! Wonder!! Wonder!!! |
Orisa yoruba- sango, oya, osun, esu etc. Orisas are middle men to reach Eledumare/Olodumare/Edumare. Any of the orisha can be worshipped e.g sango and ogun worshippers. Yoruba is a tribe/race. Yoruba is still not a regilion. Oyinbo won't come up with one yeye article and I will guck it line, hook and sinker. Wikipedia is bullsh. It as anybody can edit any article therein. Especially the unprotected one. Still, I laugh at the "religiosity" of yoruba. |
Well............ In this part of the world where empasis is laid on marriage! Marriage!! Marriage!!!, there's no way an old lady in her 30s won't be bitter and frustrated! They rub marriage in your face like its a pass to paradise. Your younger ones of 20 something, with 3 kids would tell the old lady, "aunti mi" , when are you getting married nah? Your mama, would make marriage your ring tone everyday and she would go, "my pikin, do u want to kee me before my time ni? Bring a man home and marry" So, I don't see why an older lady won't be bitter and frustrated with all these emphases on marriage! Some older ladies that I know and are not married are still very personable though. Jeez, they are so nice ,courteous and very successful. |
Let them keep wallowing in their ignorance! Yoruba a religion. I laugh at the "religiosity" of yoruba race. Lol |
In oduduwa's voice, yoruba is a race and not a religion. In tuface's voice, " dem want to tell us, another story again oooo" He visited africa prior to his death, where in africa? Abegi, make dem tell us what's up jor!!! |
Mike the headless chicken! OMG!!! Whaaaaaaaaaat! I love my naija, a headless chicken is a meat in the soup straight away! "Heady" or "headless", the taste nor go change. |

@Op, which battle? Jonathan is winning indeed. Nigeria police force has not found Mbu wanting in whatsoever way!!!! Call it politics and you might be correct and that's a topic for another day. |
Very well written! God bless you. My people perish because, they lack knowledge. I commend you for this post. Weldone @Op |
Bush meat don catch hunter! Smart dude. Tinkoff can't charge him for fraud oo! Well, a good prosecutor will make a good case for them. |
....... Chidi "maced" his fellow dishonorable colleague in self defense, no? |
Thanks Maximumimpact, your points are very valid and they have maximum impact mehn! You captured it well and I tell you, where can tribalism take us to? China is bigger than Nigeria yet, they live as one ooo! Again, the centre has seen a weakling in igbo people. They use them to dirty politics! Once tribal card is played in Naija, igbo man must be there and that's a big avenue for division in this country! Igbo people should re-strategise mehn, tribalism isn't everything ooo. In all tribes, we have good people!!! #fact!!!!! In all tribes, we have tribal, bigots, sentimental, stoopid and bad people! #fact It is our duty to separate the good one from the bad leaders. We shouldn't fall for rhetorics and sugar-coated tongue of our leaders when they play tribal politics with us. Upper week, na #childnotbride- North versus south Now, South East versus South West!! Make una wake up!!! They'll use anything to divide the youths and tribalism is one of the tools! When youths that are supposed to move naija forward are engrossed in political tribalism, how then do we move naija forward? |
Prove ke? U na judge for supreme court ni? You dey work for hague ni? You go fear interrogation nah!!!! |
All these politicians sef! Nawah ooo I don't fall for rhetorics mehn! Propaganda doesn't cut it for me mehn. Electricity for all! Light up Nigeria indeed! LOL |
All these show offs sef! Must you dedicate a car in church? For what? So that people go no say u don arrive? What happens to ; God I thank you for all that you have done? In the corner of your room? Oh, you must runs for pastor, abi? You no nah, you must to arrange envelope after hin don bless you car, bah? When you buy a new shirt, dedicate in church. We you disv.I.r.g.in your wife, dedicate. When you buy a new bag of rice, dedicate bikonu!!! |
Whaooo wike wike! A federal minister? Of education for that matter!!! No iota of education is seen in wike mehn! The cables in your head are bridging fortunately for you, your cure is at Yaba left. The only problem is that, our roads are bad so, you'll have to trek to yaba left and I pray, may you not grow dead locks before you reach dier. May your craze not be permanent. |
Igbo is 100% of lagos! Tinubu is igbo, Fashola is igbo and I am igbo too. the mallams we have everywhere are igbos too. The abokis from Niger are igbo and again, the official laanguage of lagos is igbo. Henceforth, Lagos is referred to as ; Land of the rising sun- Biafra!!! Igbo kwenu!!!! |
Seriously!!! The bridge theft is another russian wonder! |
Delafruita: irrespective of evidence of communication, the facts remains the action of the LASG is illegalOk, see this response from chris Ngige here "Senator Ngige has reacted to the deportation story and I wish those who were quick to condemn Fashola has the courage to accept their mistakes. The Senator said after his meeting with Fashola, he discovered that it was not about deportation “but a social welfare intervention involving several homeless destitute and other psychiatric cases roaming the streets and some living under the bridges in Lagos”. Ngige added in the letter: “These people were taken in and treated and cared for by the Lagos State Government free of charge and thereafter needed to be reintegrated with their families. “After this rehabilitation, the affected people disclosed their true identities and the disclosure revealed that 14 of them were from Anambra State. For the purpose of reintegration with their kith and kin back home (most of them have nobody in Lagos) and for further social support and care, Lagos State Government communicated the Anambra State Government as well as other affected state governments to come forward and identify and take over their people. “On receipt of this communication, Anambra State Government requested for the identities of those claiming to be from the state (see letter as annex 2). The list was promptly supplied to them by Lagos State for immediate and urgent action (see letter as annex 3). “With further contact and pressure, Anambra State Government preferred that the handing over be done at Onitsha Bridgehead and Lagos State obliged but found no Anambra State Government representative on arrival on the agreed date and was hence forced to leave the people at a government office they found at the Niger Bridgehead. “The Lagos State Government further explained that this kind of exchange of destitute occurs between states, as she recently went to Akwa Ibom State to take back two of her rehabilitated citizens. “You will recall Mr. President of Aka Ikenga that I had assured the Aka Ikenga members that the Lagos State Government that I am familiar with will not go out of its way to cause hardship to our people and this is evident in its deposition as the first Government of Lagos State to appoint Igbo as commissioner and many others into other cabinet political position. “For the promotion and maintenance of the good relationship that exists between the Igbo who form about 25 per cent of the population of Lagos State and their Lagos host, I have secured an appointment for you, the President and Executive members of Aka Ikenga to further discuss this matter and other sundry issues affecting Ndi Igbo in Lagos, with the Lagos State Governor on a date that will be mutually agreed to by both parties. “As a member of Action Congress of Nigeria the (ACN), which is the party in power in Lagos State, I wish to further reassure you and Aka Ikenga in particular and Ndi Igbo in general, that the government of Lagos State, that I am familiar with does not and will not habour any anti-Igbo agenda, as is being insinuated in certain quarters.” The story is in Sun Newspaper" |
