Hmm! Pastors! Ok, a scenario. I am not a christian and I ALWAYS give to the needy, less privileged and charity. Does it mean God would withold his blessings from me cuz I am not a christian? Does it mean I am doomed? In the case of Gani fawehinmi of blessed memory. He was known to have greatly helped the poor, are we saying because he didn't contribute or pay tithe to pastor he's now in hell burning? Wole soyinka is known world over and infact, he's one of the greatest man alive, does it mean because he's not a christian and doesn't pay his tithe to pastors, can now be said that he is doomed?

We as christians should not be gullible. We should apply our quality of education and exposure to our religion. We don't have to be daft and our pastors CANNOT replace GOD. Pastors are not god talkless of being ur God.

If u must give in church, give according to ur heart. Don't be enslaved and hypnotised by your pastork's gimmick.

What if you are like her last hope? What if she's like this cuz of pressure on her to get married and with the fact that she approaching menopause soon? What if she's dangling a carrot in your face like a hunter would dangle a carrot in rabbit's face? What if she's just desperate to have a man to herself especially because she's late already? Don't u think u should simmer and try other great, wonderful and younger girl and then compare and draw your final conclusion? Would you feel the same way about her if your were to be involved with naomi campbell or other beautu queen considering your age? What would be your stand about her in 12 years time? Lastly, do you really wanna do this?

I can as well stop going to church on sundays and listen to sermon on radio, t v and internet. Atleast, I won't have to pay tithe, development fund, building fund, sunday contribution e.t.c MY sincere OPINION is dat, there's no justification for toll fee in church and its should henceforth be discouraged. So, charging 1000 is supposed to be for crowd control,right? Does it mean other strategies can't be applied to control crowd? What happened to crowd management without pay? Really, what would JESUS do? I think we should be more strategical in our approaches to life. As a church, we can't allowed people to ridicule Christ and christendon as a result of what we do. As church leaders that we are, we shud always try to control and check our pastors when they are going astray. May the LORD set our eyes on the path of light and righteousness. Cheers

I think before a fire there would have been a smoke,right? My sincere question is this. What's the justification for charging 1000 toll fee in the name of crowd control? What happened to those people that really wanted to be in the presence God for watch service but DIDN'T have 1000?

Its surprising at ow people think! can we do things right in naija? CE members would fight u to any lenght when u raise any issues abt CEC. Yet they condemn jihad they are guilty of . They would judge u and then quotes bible where it says u shud leave judgement to God! They would justify why the whole world should be saved even when bible points it out that few are the people on the path to heaven. I read in the dailies the other day and got some confirmation from CE members that, worshippers were charged N1000 gate fee all in the name of crowd control for watch night service!!!!! Our pastors shudnt be our God. It doesn't mean because they are pastors doesn't mean there shudnt be checks and control. The bible says " for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" it says also that " all OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS is LIKE a filthy RAG" why then do we think our pastors are not proned to errors! The only gods we have on earth are our parents says the bible so, when our pastors are making mistakes, we shud point it out and correct them and not defend them like what average CE members would do.
