mikkypel:On your Own, And who told you they are rejecting Laminated Cert. 90% of Corpers do laminate their cert. take it or leave it. Forget this embassy laminated cert noise |
TK0907:If you are living in any state capital. Run now and buy a small laminating machine of 10k, rent a generator and try and find out where corpers in the state are collecting their Nysc Discharge certificate Next week Tuesday 13th (Passing out). If you can not buy, try and rent two laminators, take ur bro along and teach him how to use the machine between today and tomorrow. I laminated mine last year at 100naira.. If you are smart, you can laminate for 500 people or more. That is 500*100= 50,000k for few hours. Am a testimony to this smart idea of a friend. |
Hi all, Please i need buyers for my sweet potatoes. Interested buyers should let me know. Have like 4bags presently. |
Nice one Op! Now let me chip in my little contribution. Your don't have to copy the pattern of "Humans Lagos" or whatever it is. What you need is the concept and idea. Think about it, how do you make money from this aside the usual pix and the likes (Ofcos it's true everything is not about money, but then something good have to be coming as a budding enterpreneur). Now my advice; 1. Change the name from human ogun to something catchy like "OgunStreets", "LifeinOgun", "WorriesinClips", "OgunTimeline" and may be HustlesInPics. The concept is to capture the street hustle with words and pix. 2. Try and Create a blog or site and paste ur pictures, with simple stories and drive traffic to it. 3. Try and get a niche for your pix, you may try and visit Artisans like welder, carpenters (funiture makers), Generator repairers, students doing business and the likes. show their wonderful works, post their fone numbers and from there, you can start getting little money from it. It's all about vision and determination. Visit slums and ghettos, narrate their stories, show beauties and the ugly side of abeokuta and may be ogun state, visit historic towns and villages in ogun state with rich culture and tradition. Visit elders or older generations, share their experiece, wao moment, regrets and wishes for people to see. Explore farms and advice youths on how to key in with quality pictures. Soon Govt officials, Couples and Entrepreneurs would be giving you calls to feature them on your documentary page. Wish you all the best. |

Saw this comment on stella dimokus's blog. It reads; Dear Stella,My family prayers are with you. Keep touching lives ...Straight to the point, I can relate with graduating with 3rd class and the pains attached, because I was there for few years too after graduation not knowing what to do with my 3rd class certificate in Engineering! For the record, I did graduated with 3rd class majorly due to a power drunk HOD of Chemistry department then. She co-ordinates a course then (CHM 203, a 4 units course), my sin was to be in a wrong exam hall, where she supervised and caught a guy and she was injured while dragging with that guy. The guy later escaped, left our department later, but she decided to keep failing (us) me for 3 consecutive years for no just reason. All people in that hall got "F" for 3 straight years. Many changed courses because of her, but I just don't see myself doing another course than my course then! My department tried to intervened severally but She keep failing us ( almost half of my set)then until I dropped from been a strong 2:1 Candidate to a weak 2:2 Candidate and when she decided to pass me (us) in Final year with a " ", I missed graduating as 2:2 with 0.04 GP point! I never had extra year, but the ripple effect of her actions was no mean fit at all. I have since forgiven her, but her name will be in my Biography one day. She may never know I exist! All Ogunlesis watch out!So, on graduation day, I wasn't fulfilled at all, rather I felt I had an unfinished business on that campus! After few years, I decided to return to the same department in the same school for my PDG and Masters and by His grace, I did graduated with 4.67 (Distinctions) in my M.sc level, from the course I earlier got 3rd class! I even got a SGP OF 5.00 in one of my semesters. That alone has wiped away my tears, my heart ache and catapults me to greatness. I have since worked with Multinationals, Oil & Gas etc and I can say today I am a Success story! To all young graduate that graduated with 3rd Class and you are feeling that burn in, I say to you leave comfort zone now! And don’t let your grade define your life. confide in your loved ones, don’t bear the burden alone, start doing something and retrace your step, you might find things interesting on your way too. |
I keep seeing these questions of "Can a 3rd class graduate purse a Lecturing career?". Why Not? Of course Yes! It's possible, you can still have your way if that is what you like. Lecturing is not the exclusive rights of the First class, 2.1's and 2.2's. People have had such grades as a 3rd class and have moved on to become a Lecturer and Great Researcher. It takes a 9month or a year pgd programme to correct the defects. I use to have a woman professor who had a 3rd class from UI biochemistry. And today, she had a PhD in Organic chemistry. Another wrong misinformation is that you can not change a field and lectures in the new field. I don't even know how people get their information that you can not switch fields and become a lecturer in such field. Only that such fields must be closely related. Have seen a Prof of Business Admin with accounting first degree. Yes! My dean in postgraduate school had an Economics first degree and today, he is a dean of faculty of management comprising of Accounting, Marketing, finance, Business Admin and Personnel Management. Today, he is a professor of Marketing. Dear 3rd Class Graduate, get your PGD, do your MSc, get a good PhD grade and you sail thru to a PhD class. A cousin had Third class from OAU Microbiology, she returned back, had her pgd in a year, obtained another form for Msc, finished it in a record time of 2yrs at same Great Ife. Today, she is a lecturers in a Private Uni with good salary and good car while running her PhD at the same OAU. Determination is everything, you can always correct the mistake of the past. zeenaira:Yes, u can. I use to have a woman professor who had a 3rd class from UI biochemisty. And today had a phd in Organic chemistry. hahn:Nice Contribution sir. But i mean "retailing" and not the usual printing of the cards like the noise they make on nairaland every other day. And talking about technology scrapping paper recharge cards, i think it would be a long time oo because a large numbers of card users didn't even know how to operate gadgets let alone of getting their ways to buying cards online. Think of local business women(at least my mum can use up to 1k card a day), think of local aboki alhajis that can call from morning till evening, the bricklayers, okada men, (infact most artisans, and local dwellers) and many more particular groups of youths. Remember it is when you have money in your account that you can think of loading cards vial the internet. I may be wrong though. |
I live in an Area, where i would have to trek miles in getting recharge cards. In fact it's annoying sometime when i would need recharge cards badly and would have to be thinking of the stress to get it again, yet people in my area didn't see the need to venture into this opportunity. The only woman i use to buy from sometimes ago, stopped selling because people refuse to buy @ 110naira unlike the usual 100naira. Now my question, what's the problem in recharge cards retailing in Nigeria? Does that mean those who are selling are not making any gains or there is more to it. I need candid Contributions from those who have been there, before and now. |
TonyeBarcanista:lol! may be not the change we are use to. But as true and patriotic Nigerians, may be it's time to go back to the board and trace where we have always got it wrong. As the future Leaders of the most populous black Nation, we can re-write the wrongs of the past and "change" the colloids in the political water view. We have got all what it takes, the gentle stride of Oneness and the rigid staunch progressive ideologies of the minorities can make Nigeria, the country we all could be proud of. It begins with you and I. Happy 55th Anniversary of motherland Nigeria, to you Mr Barcanista. |
Once upon a time, the APC as a party temporarily moved it's headquarter to Kwara state and Ilorin to be precise. Then, the political landscape was serene, every single brethren in the political sanctuary was feeling cool, the zeal to hijack a nation that is sinking in the hands of an "Otuoke Dr" was seemingly the only rope that ties brothers together. The Mantra-slogan was change. The Nation was agog with posters and fliers of known and unknown faces, from the good to the bad and the Ugly. Cities like Lagos, Abuja and Kaduna became a mecca from far and new, Designer campaign's cloths and souvenirs fly around like newly arrived city freebies. Ilorin was never underated, the city had it's own fair share of the merry. The town was beehive of activities due to political charades, admirers, supporters and well wishers that have turned the city into a new heaven to behold. Then, the secret and hideouts of APC as a party was well hidden in Kwara state. Every meetings and Conventions was taken away from the busy Lagos and Abuja metropolis. Pictures awashed the internet on daily basis. Hotels and city dwellers were making cool business, indeed the city of Harmony had never had it more better than then. Why Ilorin if you may ask? Well, the simple truth is that, a Big Brother loyalist by the Name "Saraki" has been called upon to help do the needful. Do i need to say Saraki was hired to call the shot? May be. At least, APC as a party, forsakes it's political anointed candidate called "Belgore" and Elope with the newly found love Called Saraki. No thanks for the Jargaban of Borgu for his ever ready political warfare in his arsenal to bring on board all political calculation from 2*2 to 16 to 19. Saraki holds the key to Kwara Politics, he is dirty but APC want power at all cost, the party needed kwara to join the "change" mantra. Do they care who is singing the change? Obviously NO! Seems that doesn't matter to them. Just sing the change to your people and join me to chase the otuoke man beyond the river bank of delta. To imagine how APC dismantled it's erstwhile political structure in kwara to bring Saraki forth and oversee the ministry still amazes me till date. Then, i pity the Poor Dele Belgore who kwarans have seen as a core Lagosians, he was betrayed by his fellow lagosians, he was deserted and the poor man like a political slut also went to PDP. What an Exchange of Barton you may say. Now, the story has changed. To APC and the Jargabanist, it's more of a third eye to the red-chamber's top seat than the prosecution of a betrayer and a party man. To the Pro-saraki's, it's more like victimization of a once noble Apostle of the change Ministry, hence the 83 votes of confidence. To an Ordinary Nigerian, Saraki is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and may be forever. He is a spoilt child that profits from his 8yrs tenure as a governor, one who had gotten so much wealth than you expected of a well respected medical doctor. Even if you are a clean-shaved businessman cum doctor, you can't own everything but saraki owns almost everything. He is a big time rice farmer. lol ( Ofcos he owns the Kwara state shangai farms, the Ilorin Aviation school and many more). To Ilorin gullible followers from time-immemorial, it's more of a vexation of the unpaid salary workers than a breaking point of a masters-slave tie. May be if all had been paid well, the marriage of inconvenience would not have gotten itches. May be! And to Other kwarans (Excluding Ilorin), From Kaima to baruteen to Offa to Ijagbo, down to Omu-aran and Ekiti Kwara. Am sorry, it's obvious you guys have been decimated, offa to ilorin roads lacks government touch, omu aran is unattended to, jebba to lafiaji doesn't concern the power that be in kwara. May be your "Maigida Governor" is too busy to leave Ilorin development. May be Ilorin is just lucky to rule others, may be! I write this wholeheartedly, may be to see through the past and envisage what the future may holds for Nigerians quest to fight corruption, the power wrestle tussle of APC as a party, the plight of common kwarans in the hand of a Saraki's Dynasty, and may be to reflect the state of our nation through history, and to see what each and everyone of us had contributed. Now, may be we all can share the blame, may be. But before i go, i heard this Echo sometimes and it's always ringing hard, banging like hard-core balls. It says "Fear Politicians", "Fear them for real" cos they can do anything to make things happen. Like seriously, we need change, Yes "Change". The change we have gotten and many more Change. Lateef (Micronut) Echoes his mind from the City of Ilorin. |
Guy, like someone said, what u study doesn't matter in the present day Nigeria cos in actual fact, most of the popular courses have lost their relevance. What u bring out of it is critical. I have a friend that studied that course FWS, Now he had just finished his masters in UI, in a specialised field in faculty of Agric. He stands a better chance to work for himself or becomes a Lecturer. Now, the simple truth is that, few people are in this field, and get spaces in Research Institutes and Over 50 naija Unis. Above all, a 2.1 in any course qualifies you for most graduate trainee jobs in any field from banking to telecommunications to military forces to Media and Agricultural field. I advice you to take what life has thrown at u, take is with all happiness and joy of the heart, do well in that course and see if you would not excel in life. Remember frank nweke Junior studied zoology, same with Jonathan, do u also remember Dele momodu studied Yoruba. but today nko? They are success story.. All the best bro |
mubarak123:funny Nigerians! Msc with 2'O-level? I think they should take him for phd instead... Especially if he has 5E's and 4F's If u mean O-Level combination + Bsc, then i assume he has no problem. His class of degree with use of english test score matters most. |
Op change the heading, he is not "Olusola".. But Abubakar Bukola saraki. He is not even proud of the "Abubakar" sef, only uses it for political purposes to deceive gullible kwarans. That guy is a crook doctor.

Bishopmayowa:blurred vision! go get glasses. |
Don baba, smile now.... Na only when u wan mock politicans like saraki u dey smile ni? nndo! Oga oooo........One would never thought jazzy and koko master would part ways, same with kc and presh but dreams different. |
Happy birthday to 2baba! I can see the big men and women of naija Entertainment Industry, from the good, to the bad and the Ugly. Talent and creativity is paying the bills faster and bigger than the so call OND+HND+Bsc+Msc+Even Phd (One year Endorsement of "phyno" equals to annual salary of Prof okojie. #kowatanbiii# |
Ilekeh:Nothing like an ideal politician oga, they are all jegudujera/faworaja (thieves and fraudsters). From saraki to tinubu to Lamido |
Mama bakassi aya dele giwa! looking stunning |
omisakint:awe! see how everybody is bashing you! Bringing ife down for no reason is not the best..... Am disappointed in your comment! Ife is bigger than any of us, you just sit there and agreed things would be hurriedly done. Assuming that the kingmakers are taking bribe of some sort when you are not there is another bad one from you, home boy. Everyone has his or her own culture, warri ways of choosing king is different from that of ife(which is purely hereditary, very easy like that of ibadan). Mind you, there is always tendency that the oracle were consulted in Warri's case. Consultation must have been done widely aswell, “The Olu designate is very sound, intellectually inclined and culturally exposed". You don't expect afobaje to put just anybody on the throne. IFE A GBE WA OOO.... |
florakims:Only the above 3 ma. Another product i can easily get is plantain in dozens. |
Chartey:I appreciate your contribution, i never said they are mine oooo..........The pictures are to illustrate and convey the message am passing. Am doing the awareness in readiness for when my goods will arrive. Anyone in the 3 cities would definitely come and see what he or she is buying. Thanks! In a business, it's always better to shop market in readiness for your awaiting goods. |
Fumbaby:lol...... no whala, u are the one from whatsapp? i would keep u posted as agreed |
Hi, am bringing loads of yam, potatoes and beans from the north. I need dependable buyers.. The goods (food items) would be landing in Ilorin via train.
