PoliticsAPC In Clear Lead In Borno State by midolian(op): 11:22pm On Mar 29, 2015
The presidential results in 16 local government areas of Borno state have been released by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC).

The results indicate a sound victory for the All progressive Congress (APC) in all the sixteen local government so far announced at the commissions premises in Maiduguri.

Below is the results released:

Kala Balge APC 1766, PDP 98

Marte     APC 426, PDP 742

Ngala APC 2764, PDP 241

Askira Uba APC, 5220 PDP, 1308

Mobbar APC 4487, PDP 108

Kukuwa APC 5662, PDP 230

Ngazai APC, 3521, PDP 211

Abadam APC 2657, PDP 70

Mafa APC 7140, PDP 178

Kaga APC 6133 PDP 202

Gwoza APC 15702, PDP 1414

Dikwa APC 3031, PDP 114

Munguno APC 5461, PDP 181

Gubio APC 6481 PDP 306

Guzamala APC 2720 PDP 397

Bama APC 11133 PDP 193

Meanwhile the Secretary to the Borno State Government Amb. Baba Jida told reporters at the collation center that the performance of the party at the Saturday’s presidential elections has exceeded the expectations of many, adding that the party is cruising to victory.

“In view of the constraints faced by Borno, we feel that the people have done well to exercise their right to vote. Under the circumstance that our people have found themselves, we have done very well.

“From what we have, the APC have approximately 95 per cent while the PDP have slightly 5 per cent. The turnout is not very good and it should be expected. By the time the result from southern Borno and that of Jere and MMC come in it may improve the figures we have. People are happy to participate in the election.

“The APC is cruising to landslide victory. We have done better than we thought. I am sure our opponents are struggling to get maybe just 25 per cent in Borno state but from the look of things, they are not likely to get more than 10 per cent,” Amb. Baba Jida said.

PoliticsRe: Bayelsa State 2015 General Elections Not Free And Fair by midolian(m): 9:51pm On Mar 29, 2015
timie2015:
The 2015 House of Representatives general elections in Ogbia LGA, Bayelsa state is characterised by a widespread of violence and irregularities across many communities in the Local Government. Guns were used by PDP tugs accompanied by police men to snatch ballot papers and result sheets.
The communities were these claims have clear evident are Okodi, Epebu in ward 5, Otuogidi, Kolo town, ward 8(Imiringi and Elebele), ward 6 (Oruma and Otuasega), ward 11(Opume and Akepelai), ward 2, ward 7(Emeyal), ward 3(Otuedu and Ologi), Ologoghe and Anyama in ward 4.
Wards and LGA collation of results were done in secret places by PDP and induced INEC officials which is unknown to other party agents. In summary, these irregularities negate the electoral laws which demands that the elections be cancelled because they are neither free, fair nor credible.
of course, I don't xpect the election to be free and fair in a desperate man's stronghold..buh what is the source of this information?

They accuse the state government of imposing curfew on Bauchi town to allow its agents falsify the results. They say the state capital was not among areas attacked Saturday or Sunday, and should not be under a curfew.

Security agents are cautious pushing the youth at INEC office back.

Many residents however stay indoors, not necessarily because of the curfew but for fear of Boko Haram attacks, our correspondent says.

PoliticsRe: INEC Insist Election Held In Rivers, Say Amaechi Erred To Ask For Result Sheet. by midolian(op): 8:49pm On Mar 29, 2015
scribble:
This Amaechi is a drama queen.

The APC ship has sunk. ASO Rock is retained by the incumbent.

But its really heart wrenching that Nigerians did not see this from the beginning.

Jonathan won this election fair and square. I voted for him and so did my house.

A lot of homes voted for him.

Those of you who play politics believing that everyone is dumb and docile apart from you and your camp need to get a reality check.

Nigerians belong to all of us and even though about 40% of you feel a change is needed, 40% does not carry a majority.

Jonathan may not be perfect but APC is just as if not more flawed than the current administration.

If Buhari enter, he would have made things worse, so we prayed against it and we are certain of our God that he will not give victory to the children of rebellion.

Sorry lets see what happens in 2019. maybe then we can agree with you.
Amaechi truly have over reacted on this buh m sure he did all he did cos he knows what the PDP is capable of doing, will the likes of Mama peace and his bloodsucking deputy governor as the major players in the state..buh dat doesn't change the fact that Buhari will win this election by a landslide even though the PDP are busy applying make up to the results of the SS and SE jst to favour them.
PoliticsINEC Insist Election Held In Rivers, Say Amaechi Erred To Ask For Result Sheet. by midolian(op): 8:39pm On Mar 29, 2015
Resident Electoral Commissioner, Rivers state, Dame Gesilia Khan Sunday night said elections held in the 23 local government areas of the state.

In a statement last night she said the agent of the All Progressive Congress,  APC,  in Ikwerre local government area,  Mr Steve Worgu signed for all documents, including result sheets for Ikwerre local government area, the governor’s local governent.

“The Presidential, senatorial and House of Representatives elections held In the 23 Local government areas in the Rivers state on March 28, 2015.”, she said.

Continuing, she said at the time governor Chibuike Amaechi demanded for the result sheets in his ward at Ubima,  voting had.not started.

“At the stage the governor of Rivers state Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi complained of not sighting th e election result sheet, voti ng has not commenced, that was merely accreditation stage which has noting to do with result sheets. Please note that the governor of Rivers state went to the poll as a voter and not as a governor.

INEC wishes to inform the general public that th e law does not permit everyone to be shown the result sheet, hence all political parties are expected to have their party agents at the distribution centres to ensure that the martial both sensitive and non sensitive are all complete before election officials proceed to the field.

Also the agent at the polling units are expected to ensure that materials are complete before election commences.  Where there is a shortfall the party agent will have it in their report and submit complaint to INEC.

It is on record that APC accredited political party agent who was present at the INEC office Ikwerre local government t area office , Steve Worgu signed that the materials both sensitive and non sensitive distributed at th e local governmen area were complete, including result sheet before the officials proceeded to the field:, she said.

1. You can only rig in your stronghold.

2. The PDP vehemently opposed the use of card readers.

3. Card readers reduce opportunities for rigging by over 85%.

4. What other way is there to still rig than scaring people from voting and then engage in mass thumbprinting with the collusion of agents?

Just wait for the deluge of incident reports later today. The writing is on the wall.
