All these PDP figures sef ![]() In 2015, the PDP had a total number of 286,869 votes while the APC had a total of 208,469 votes.. Now, the PDP is telling us we have 589,137 supporters of only kwankwanso in Edo and they are all decamping to its party..How dumb? Let's even assume Edo was a pig republic, would the number have risen this much? |
![]() Rochas is never afraid of saying it as it is even though majority from the east do not like him because of his love for Buhari and the APC. May God guide our misguided brothers aright. They are the most confused set of God's creation in this planet and i doubt if they have a rival in other planets. 1. An average Igbo man does not want an Igbo man to become president (This is why Igbo for president in the year 2023 does not and will never sound attractive to them) 2. An average Igbo man does not want an Hausa man to become president because of their "born to rule" mentality 3. An average Igbo man does not want a Yoruba man to become president because it is an abomination for Yorubas to rule over them 4. If an average Igbo man successfully removes all of the above and installs their choice, they ll in no time begin to feel cheated by the way the installed rules and then try to bring him down.. In short, I believe an average Igbo man has a problem with God being God. ...The problem with an average Igbo man is that he feels everyone wants to cheat him. |

Mr project ![]() This man has enough money to give Fayose to finance rigging of Ekiti state Gubernatorial election but has no money to pay people old enough to be his father.. Isnt it obvious most of these PDP members have given their conscience to the devil for free? |
Latest report as retired civil servants in Rivers State have taken to the streets of Port Harcourt to protest unpaid three years gratuity and pension owed them. Meanwhile the protesters had placards with inscriptions like; “If you are Mr Project, Know that Retired civic servants are major project”, “Mr Project Pay us our Pension because our people are homeless and our children are out of school”, “We are dying.” The protesters, who were chanting anti government songs, demanded for the payment of their three years gratuity and pension, just as they asked for the removal of contributory pension law. The leader of the protesters, Lucky Atti, at the office of the Rivers State Head of Service demanded the abrogation of the Contributory Pension Law, which he claimed was the cause of the hardship of pensioners. Atti said majority of pensioners had been suffering from different forms of terminal ailment in the past three years. “It is not a curse to be a retired civil servant in Rivers State. It not a crime. Many of us have served for as much as 33years and here we are with nothing. “We can no longer fend for our families. The Governor should do something about this before we all die of hunger and sicknesses. “We have written to Governor Nyesom Wike on several occasions. We have even met with stakeholders, including the religious leaders, to help us talk to him but all to no avail. We have been on this for the past 3years,” he said. Addressing the pensioners, Rivers State Head of Service, Rufus Godwins blamed the past administration of former Governor Rotimi Amaechi for the backlog of pension allowances. According to Godwins, “These allowances are owed by the past administration. The past administration did not remit the deduction of pensions to the pensioners’ agents. But I will take your case to the Governor”. http://mynationnews.com/2018/08/09/governor-wike-in-big-trouble-as-retirees-storm-the-street-in-heavy-protest-photos/ https://mynationnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/rivers.jpg |

Although it remains unclear if the disgraced DSS boss was actually working for Saraki as alleged in some quarters, investigations from our correspondent showed that on several occasions, Buhari had decided to remove Daura over allegations of colluding with Saraki to undermine his government.Daura should be investigated thoroughly....and dealt with in a manner that will send shivers down his paymaster's spine |
“If you watch closely, you would notice that Saraki’s personal photographer Tope Brown was among those recording the scene, how could he have been there if his principal did not know about the event? It is clear to the discerning eye that what happened today was a concocted script,” the source said. There are indications that the sack of the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura, by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo had been months in the making, especially because of his suspected connivance with the Senate President and others in the National Assembly against the Muhammadu Buhari administration.http://saharareporters.com/2018/08/08/exclusive-how-sacked-dss-dg-plotted-saraki-embarrass-buhari-presidency https://secure.saharareporters.com/sites/default/files/styles/normal_medium/public/Lawal%20Daura.jpg?itok=J6Lujo9l |

The plot was like that of a movie, leaving trained security and intelligence officials confused. At the end of it, Lawal Daura, then head of one of Nigeria’s foremost security agencies was whisked away while his well trained security aides waited for him. Multiple sources at the Nigerian Presidency have told PREMIUM TIMES how Mr Daura, former Director-General of State Security Service, (SSS), was sacked and arrested on the orders of Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday. Mr Daura was sacked after masked SSS operatives laid siege to the National Assembly complex preventing lawmakers and civil servants from gaining access into the building. The siege was only lifted about an hour after Mr Daura’s sack. OSINBAJO OUTRAGED Sources at the presidential villa said Mr Osinbajo, who has been in charge since President Muhammadu Buhari proceeded on a 10 day vacation to the UK, was outraged by the actions of the SSS. “When the siege began, the acting president quickly went to action and was able to gather preliminary information of what was going on after which he invited some of the security chiefs concerned for a briefing,” one of the sources said. He said those invited include the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the former DG, Mr Daura. PREMIUM TIMES earlier reported Mr Osinbajo’s meeting with both officials. The source also said the acting president was briefed earlier by National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno. “When Lawal Daura came in, the acting president asked him who cleared him to order operatives to lay siege on the National Assembly; and his response was ‘shocking’. “He simply said it’s within his powers and that he is only answerable to the President and Commander-in-Chief who appointed him,” the source said. The source also said unknown to Mr Daura, the acting president had already spoken to Mr Buhari after initial reports indicated that Mr Daura “was in play with President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki.” After his response, Mr Osinbajo told his media aide, Laolu Akande, to immediately issue a statement announcing the sack of Mr Daura. “The acting president also asked the National Security Adviser to hand over the sacked DG to the police for further investigation,” he said. DAURA ARRESTED Another source at the Villa , who witnessed the drama that followed the directive from Mr Osinbajo, said as soon as his arrest was ordered, the Aide De Camp (ADC) to Mr Osinbajo was seen rushing to the ceremonial gate, where the Mobile Police Force office is located. “The ADC returned to the VP wing with some mobile police officers in a rush and asked that a vehicle should be brought immediately to the rear area for (Daura’s) evacuation. “We thought the VP, who is the only one whose convoy uses that place, was about to go out and there was a need for additional vehicle. An SUV was ‘scrambled’ but the ADC said they should bring a tinted Hilux van,” he said. Meanwhile, the source said Mr Daura ‘s convoy and personal security were waiting for him, like they normally do, at the administration gate (a separate one from the ceremonial gate) not knowing what was going on inside. “All of them thought the DG was still meeting with the acting president until the convoy was asked to return to headquarters empty,” he said. Another source, a former director in the SSS who worked with Mr Daura, said he (Daura) is currently being detained at the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), in Abuja. “The fact that he was handed over to SARS and detained in a guest house (for high profile suspects) should give you an indication of how the government is handling this matter. He is now considered a suspected serious criminal,” he said. He also said a combined team of both the police and SSS “would have begun interrogating Mr Daura by now.” THE REPLACEMENT PREMIUM TIMES on Tuesday reported how Mr Daura’s security details returned to the SSS headquarters without their principal. A senior official at the SSS said the security details, after waiting for Mr Daura to come out from the meeting with the vice president, simply received an order from a director at the agency that they return to the agency’s headquarters. By then, an acting Director-General had been named for the SSS. Matthew Seiyefa, was until his appointment the director in charge of the Institute of Security Studies (ISS), an institution established in 2005 as the cardinal training institution for the SSS. Mr. Seiyefa was the most senior official at the SSS after Mr Daura. He briefly met with Mr Osinbajo on Tuesday. The acting DG, an indigene of Bayelsa State, was director of operations between 2007 and 2010 when Afakriya Gadzama ran the agency. With about 34 years experience, Mr. Seiyefa served in different other capacities, including being state director in Osun, Akwa Ibom, and Lagos States. He is also a member of the National Institute, having studied at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru. Insiders at the SSS said he is close to retirement, and was indeed billed to proceed on terminal leave later this month. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/279324-exclusive-how-ex-sss-dg-lawal-daura-was-arrested.html https://i1.wp.com/media.premiumtimesng.com/wp-content/files/2015/07/NEW-DIRECTOR-OF-SSS-LAWAN-DAURA-1-e1485611661181.jpg?fit=700%2C395&ssl=1 |

Firefire:2019 will teach you some lessons |
Firefire:Firefire, why are you always with the losing team? |
A party created for selfish reasons will definitely collapse.. Give PDP just additional 2months. The party will break into at least 3factions. Saraki's faction, Makarfi's faction & Atiku's faction at least |
PDP-led coalition threatened as ADC faction pulls outhttps://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/279240-pdp-led-coalition-threatened-as-adc-faction-pulls-out.html https://dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/African-Democratic-Congress-ADC.jpg |
manuelzz:How is this not possible? How do you guys even reason? Have you not seen instances where a family member will connive with an outsider to bring you down? Dont you read your bible? |
intruxive:Hmmm...True words.. The problem is..Democracy in a country like Nigeria is like a shelter for the criminals. |
Ezenwammadu:This is my reason for stating earlier that Buhari is slow to act on issues and the corrupt ones are taking advantage of this weakness of his. |
Ezenwammadu:Man, this is no coup. This is worse than a typical Nigerian film |
dignity33:It was all in a bid to tarnish the image of the government. I must state clearly here that one thing i hate about Buhari is that he is too soft with some of these people |
Daura must have been confirmed to be working for Saraki to tarnish the image of the Buhari led administration, hence his sack. Like me, if you wondered why Saraki and the PDP's allegation/prediction on plans to impeach Saraki this day, even though dumb, came to pass, the reason is as in the title. Was wondering why the PDP would allege there are plans to impeach Saraki even though it is clear to even the common man on the street that to make this happen, the APC needs 2/3 of the house which looks impossible at the moment. Little did I know Daura and the PDP were cooking something to mislead the public..and make it look like 'innocent Saraki is being witch-hunted by tyrant Buhari' ... I mean, if you look at this critically well, you ll see absolutely no sense in what happened this morning. it was baseless The same Federal government that has been begging the Senate on behalf of Nigerians to resume plenary cannot be the same Federal government that will give such order. Well, Saraki got this script written well and Daura and his boys got it acted perfectly. But time will reveal more.. It should not come to people with reason why he wants to hold a world press conference tomorrow, where the atmosphere will be perfect to cry foul and further tarnish the image of this administration |
Na wa o! Everybody consulting Obasanjo as if he is an oracle We shall see how powerful he is in the forthcoming elections |
The federal government on Monday assured that the gale of defection in the nation’s party politics will not shield any corrupt politician from investigation and prosecution. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, gave the assurance when he paid an official visit to the Abuja office of The Authority Newspaper. Fielding questions from members of the editorial board of the paper, the minister said that defection, even to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) would not immune politicians who had looted the nation’s economy from being prosecuted. “Nigerians should be rest assured that the fact that some persons are moving from one party to another does not mean that they will escape prosecution. “Nobody will escape investigation and prosecution on the ground that he or she has moved to APC. “We have shown that with a former governor and a member of our party that was convicted. We will never terminate anybody’s prosecution on the ground of decamping. “However, it is not for the executive to do the work of the judiciary,’’ he said. The minister, however, said that many of the defections being witnessed were not premised on the allegation of escaping justice. He said some defected for “political calculation and personal reasons’’. Meanwhile, the minister had reiterated that the ruling party was not perturbed by the gale of defection, especially by members of the National Assembly. “We did not just start noticing this, the foundation for it was laid the day Dr Bukola Saraki became the Senate President. “In every part of the world, when a party has the majority in Parliament, the party decides who is going to be the leader of the parliament. “This is a case where the party was still waiting for the president to resolve the issue when Saraki, from the back door, emerged as senate president. “From then, we have known, because his emergence was illegal and against the wish of the party,’’ he said. The minister said that to make the matter worse, Mr Saraki made a deal with the opposition PDP, by conceding the deputy senate president’s position. “In the last two years, the National Assembly has been behaving as if the opposition is in control. We have a senate president that is so hostile to the government. “For three years, budgets are passed only in June. As I speak today, there has been no disbursement on capital project in 2018 budget. “Critical appointments are also being delayed and the government is being blackmailed every day,’’ he said. “I have never seen in history, where a leader of parliament will announce the defection of 15 members from his party. “The proper thing is, if you are loyal to your party, you put stumbling blocks on such defection,’’ he said. Mohammed said that Kwara, his state and that of Saraki which is the epicentre of the defection, remained solidly behind APC and Buhari. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/279096-defection-wont-stop-prosecution-of-corrupt-politicians-nigerian-govt.html https://i0.wp.com/media.premiumtimesng.com/wp-content/files/2015/12/img_20151228_180911-resized-800.jpg?w=800&ssl=1 Lalasticlala |

OLEH -SENATOR Ovie Omo-Agege, weekend, insisted that the All Progressives Congress, APC still commanded majority seats in the Senate, saying Dr. Bukola Saraki knows he must step down as Senate President since he could not continue to lead the Senate when he belonged to a minority party. He also said those that defected from the APC to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, returned to their natural habitat, noting that “These are people who never supported President Muhammadu Buhari especially in the Senate, so we are glad that they are gone. “Those who are left now are those who will champion the President’s course. We have no regret that they (the defectors) are gone.” Fielding questions from newsmen at a function in Emevor community, Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, Omo-Agege said the wave of defection from the APC would not affect the fortunes of the party in the 2019 general election. “I can tell you it will all even out. As we are leaving, we also have people in PDP who are coming especially in a state like Kwara where those in APC left to PDP while those in PDP left to APC,” he said. On the leadership of the Senate, the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial district at the National Assembly, said: “APC has 53 Senators in the Senate while PDP has 49. ADC has has two, APGA has two and there are two vacancies. Those two vacancies will be filled on the 11th and these elections will be held in our stronghold, Kastina and Bauchi. Even without these two seats, we command the majority in the Senate. “The Senate President knows or ought to know that the right thing to do is to step down because there is no way he can continue to lead the Senate when he belongs to the minority party and he knows that.” https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/08/saraki-knows-he-must-step-down-as-senate-president-omo-agege/ https://www.vanguardngr.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Omo-agege-saraki.png |
