Stanley Osifo, a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), with a promise to move his support base of "10 to 15million Nigerians" along. He made his decision known at a press conference held at Virtual Hub, Ikeja, Lagos, on Thursday. Osifo said his defect was triggered by the way he was treated during the PDP presidential primary, noting that there was no form of settlement by his former party. Speaking on his choice of APC, he said: “My structure base is across the 36 states in Nigeria, and we are very sure and optimistic that not less than 10 to 15 million Nigerians, particularly those within the strata of young people, are going to move to APC." He also spoke on the postponement of the elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). “Actually from INEC you’ll see that not everybody was happy with what happened. I want to believe INEC will perform well because they have assured us of 100 per cent credibility,” he said. Source: http://www.naijapaddie.com.ng

https://www.reviewgeek.com/p/uploads/2019/02/b9aa7eb7.png Samsung As smartphones get more powerful and run more and more complex applications, phone memory gets more important. To that end, Samsung wants it known that if you buy a Galaxy S10 or S10+, you’ll get at least 8 GB of RAM. The company said as much to Android Police when asked about the RAM situation on the new models. Apparently, some of the pre-release demonstration hardware showed “just” 6 GB when its specifications were checked in the Settings menu, causing confusion among the enthusiast community. Samsung’s own website is feeding some of that misinformation, with its specs page not making it clear which versions of the phone get 6 GB, 8 GB, or a massive 12 GB of memory. At the moment it looks like only the cheapest version of the less expensive Galaxy S10e (the “e” stands for “essential”) will be equipped with 6 GB of memory—all the “regular” S10 and S10 Plus models get at least 8 GB. Some versions of the most expensive 1 TB storage Galaxy S10+ will have up to 12 GB, matching the bombastic specification of the Galaxy Fold. 8 GB might seem like overkill for a phone, especially considering that some new laptops are still being sold with just 4. But mobile memory is a big deal, especially among those phone buyers most likely to pre-order new devices. One of the most common complaints about Google’s own Pixel 3 phones is that they have “just” 4 GB at their high price level. Source: http://www.Naijapaddie.com.ng. |
Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, the member representing Kwara South senatorial district at the National Assembly, has been arrested by the Police. Ibrahim, who is seeking a second term in office, was arrested by the Kwara State Police Command on Thursday. The Senator's arrest is coming less than 24 hours to the rescheduled presidential and National Assembly elections. Reports shows that Ibrahim of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was invited for questioning after the attack on Lola Ashiru, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ojoku, Oyun Local Government Area of the state. Aides to the senator confirmed his arrest on Friday. One of the aides identified as Jimoh told SaharaReporters claimed that Ibrahim's arrest was a grand plot by the APC to keep him out of the reach of his supporters on election day. "The Senator (Ibrahim) has been detained since Thursday inside the Kwara State Police Command. We are sure it was due to the clash between APC and PDP supporters in Ojoku when Lola Ashiru, the APC candidate, took his campaign to the town at night and was attacked, while some people died. "The members of APC are alleging that it was Senator Ibrahim that was involved but what we know is that his arrest is just an attempt to keep him out of reach on the day of election. We see it as a clampdown on our political leaders, being a candidate. It’s against the Electoral Act that no candidate should be arrested 48 hours to the election.” Ajayi Okansanmi, spokesperson of the Kwara State Police Command, confirmed the arrest of the senator. Okansanmi, however, said Ibrahim was invited for questioning over the attack on some supporters in his country home of Ojoku. Source: http://www.naijapaddie.com.ng

It’s not over, so don’t call it a day yet. When we talk about attracting visitors to your site, especially the kinds that will not only stay as visitors but will become customers, you will need constant work and careful planning. As either a blogger, an artist, service provider, or an entrepreneur, there are some very important online marketing tips you should know. But first, let me show you some things that make digital marketing stand out from the mere traditional methods. Traditional vs. Digital Marketing When it comes to attracting customers to a physical store, you should know it requires several efforts and planning. But drawing customers in the online world requires different rules entirely. You want to make sure people find your product by the use of specific keywords, products, and services related to your niche. If your website is not ranking well enough for this set of keywords, then, there chances that you will not be getting lots of vital visitors. So what should you focus on as an aspiring online entrepreneur? In this article, I have highlighted the six most important ways you can improve your marketing strategy . 1 Know Who Your Audience Is It is a very vital step you need to pay closer attention to. You need to identify your customers’ interests and what they are most likely to type into a search engine when looking for your type of service. It will give you a clearer picture of how to target your marketing strategy to the people who are ready to commit to a sign-up, purchase or contact you directly. There are lots of online tools that can help sharpen your marketing strategy and make it more effective, and you can search Google for some basic tools to help you get what people search for the most. They can also help you figure out which keywords are most effective to use in your content. 2 Know Where Your Customers Are Social media has always been a perfect place to search for customers because most people are regular social media users. However, it is not enough to just be present on several social media platforms, but you also need to learn how to find your way around them effectively. Each platform comes with unique strengths and weaknesses, so be sure to choose the right one for you and your business. For instance, if you are running an online clothing store, you may want to consider using websites that support strong visuals like Pinterest and Instagram to reach out to your audience. The key is to know what works best for you by gradually experimenting in many things. 3 Build A Base of Loyal Customers When a new user lands on your site, it is way easy to move them towards becoming a loyal customer immediately. How? You just need to offer them the possibility of adding them to your mailing list. That way, you will have a good chance of notifying your audience and customers about the new being published on your site, upcoming sales, and new products. Creating a mailing list is a great way to build a solid base of loyal customers and also a smart way to increase the number of people who trust what you do and what product you sell. 4 Content is king; you will need to do more of that It is not enough to just have a website; you also need to create contents that draw readers on the site. https://saharareporters.com/sites/default/files/styles/normal_medium/public/Amosun.jpg?itok=zivoc9J_ Ibikunle Amosun, Governor of Ogun State, says his support for the candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), against that of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), is to ensure an indigene of the Ogun West Senatorial district emerges as the next governor of the state. The governor spoke at a church service to mark the 60th birthday of the Archbishop of Lagos Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop, Diocese of Remo, Most Reverend Michael Olusina Fape, at Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, Ikenne, Ogun State, on Monday. He said his support for the APM candidate, Adekunle Akinlade and not Prince Dapo Abiodun of the APC, is to ensure “the spirit of fairness, justice, equity and peace in Ogun”. Amosun said: “I won’t take our people for granted and it is for us not to have violence in the state and to continue to live together in peace, that all of us in APC...
