So the old heavens means the present human governments making life unbearable for people {Ecclesiastes 4:1; 8:9} God never create man to rule over his fellow human because no human can direct his own steps {Jeremiah 10:23} so can such he successfully direct the step of millions with different mindsets?

The old earth are wicked people who are complaining bitterly about their rulers but at the same time they won't support the policies set by their rulers for things to work out as those ones have planned and if by chance they are also given the chance to become rulers over their people they will do worse than those who ruled them in the past. Isaiah 57:20

In Paradise both will not be part of God's new order because Jesus (the designated King of God's Kingdom) will rule over 144,000 anointed Christians who in turn will rule over their people they are the New Heavens while the New Earth refers to a prepared organized people who have come out of all the nations to form one big and happy family of peace loving worshipers! Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3

So while the New Heavens (rulers taught by Christ) are playing their part in making the earth a haven their obedient subjects too will be working together with them to give God all the glory as they obediently support their rulers for a paradisic planet earth but what of rebellious people (turbulent SEA) who often makes things difficult for their rulers? Isaiah 57:20

I don't know how old are you, but based on experience we have had since 1999. You'll know we have really progress if you know where Nigeria was coming from in electoral matter.

I was an orderly as a corper in 1993 election.
The best election was held under babangida, yet the candidate that won the election was not allowed.

I don't really follow elections since then, I think Nigeria is heading nowhere politically.

Prophecies about Jesus and entime are coded and sometimes are understood after they have been fulfilled. You can see from this scripture that Jesus did not deny their expectation about the prophecy but the misunderstanding about the timing was the problem.

In any case, no Law says that shari'a is absolutely binding on Muslims. They can always seek redress in the common Law court.

Anointing in the Bible means a commissioning for an assignment. It is used severally for priests, kings and even beyond Israel. Cyrus was called, ' his anointed, God gave him specific assignment.

So, Jesus as human was pictured as anointed as a Messiah. The Bible sense for Messianic position was to take away sin.

So both words you gave are two sides of the same coin. On one side, be was anointed and on the other, he is a rescuer
