Technology Market / Re: Beware Of Gig Logistics Houston by Migurl: 5:43pm On Dec 20, 2021
Please please beware of this company! Do not use them! Especially for oversea shipping. The staff in Houston are very rude. They do not answer their phones not emails. They will take your money and will not deliver and there will be nobody to hold. I wish I read reviews online before I patronised them, I would have not been a victim.
Do not try them at all. Use another company.

Business To Business / Re: Where to Get quality Grade A Okrika Bale by Migurl: 2:06am On May 31, 2021
Hairhee:
Hello, would really appreciate if a kind hearted and straightforward person replies me. I sell thrift clothes here in Abuja. I haven’t grown enough to buy bales so I do pick from people who open bales in Abuja. Lately getting good quality selections is getting more difficult. So if I can get someone in Lagos who can guide me to buy good quality, neat, trendy and stylish wears I would be very grateful. I see a lot of ladies in Lagos sell really lovely stuff on Instagram but no one is willing to reveal their source. Please if there is someone to help out, I’ll be grateful.

Hi, visit this page pre_lovedbyama on Instagram and send them a message. They may be able to assist you.

Hello sabi Mamas. I would be dropping off my one year old at grandma's place for 5 days,my son has never been away from me and I am so scared right now because I don't know how he would take it. Is there anything I can do to ease the seperation discomfort.. pls

Hi,
Don’t worry, he will not cry. Children a tougher than you think.
Pack his favorite toys and food/snacks.
Let grandma or any other person in the house play with him always.
P.S. I left my son with grand-parents for 2 months. By the next day after my hubby dropped him off, I received videos of him running up and down in and out of the house and laughing. I was surprised. He was 1 year 3 months and was the type that will cry as soon as a stranger (to him) enters my house.

Funny thing is that the married women who could not keep their husband's attention sorely on them loose respect even in the face of their mates and even their parents because all accusing finger still points at her.

Congratulations to the married women who successfully kept their men to themselves for years without him lusting after other women. You have my full respect!

I'm not sure that in the 60's and 70's, that men antagonized women this way. Hmmm! What went wrong? Do men feel intimidated by women? Did our parents not do a good job in the values they inculcated in us? Did society evolve?

TV01:

And a successful marriage does not take ability, demand certain qualities and count as an achievement - and is hence worthy of respect and admiration

Does a woman - or a man - need to be married to be respected? No.
Does a good marriage accord with not only respect, but also prestige, honour, joy and fulfillment. Absolutely!

It underpins all flourishing societies, it is the lifeblood of healthy, communities, all religions commend it, and those who have successfully achieved it will always testify, and it wil be evidenced by their generations after them.

If you don't get it or don't want it fine. But nothing can tarnish it's essence or reduce it's benefits if properly practiced. The OP' questions demands only a 1 word answer, but begs a whole heap of questions - which I hope I've touched upon somewhat in my two posts on this thread.

TVMIC

Very nice I like it when people argue based on the topic and argue maturely. To quote you, "es a woman - or a man - need to be married to be respected? No"..that is the answer.. That is why when I digressed I made it clear that I know I am going off the subject matter. Only because of the comments I have read so far.
Certainly a happy marriage is honorable, joyful and is fulfilling. And society admires such. But that is not particularly the topic for the day.
I like your presentation. You stuck to the topic well.

[quote author=princechurchill post=32981774]the difference between Omotala,Ashwray rai and Genevieve is simple they are married women with kids, while the later was an irresponsible girl that got pregnanted at her early age and now refuse to marry, Genevieve can never be a role model to teenagers who wants to be like a true

Never judge a person my dear. I do not know the story behind her pregnancy at a tender age but I will not judge her because nobody is perfect. Most of us hide our imperfections from the world. Even though no teenager who wants to be a true woman will like her, I will. As a teenager I started to respect her when I heard of her story and how she kept that child (which a lot of men and women could not do). I am also certain that her daughter respects her for her strength.

The prehistoric folks had their way of choosing mates. The males looked at their female, noted the girth of her waist, the strength and nimbleness of her body, her bosom. He is sizing and reading her capacity to bear children and be a help in farming. The woman also looked at her potential mate and to note of his strength and manliness. She is deciding if she could trust him to provide for her and her children. In the modern day. Nothing has changeec except that all those sizing is now cash denominated. A woman wants a man who can look after her and the family.if she settles for anything less it's for other reasons not rational

Oh my what a wonderful paragraph. Nothing really has changed. Men also size up the looks of the woman. Some go ahead to test her fertility by impregnating her. Women on the other hand still size up the man to see if he can take care of them and the children that hopefully will come eventually. Some go ahead to test by making demands to see how the man will respond.
Family / Re: Must A Woman Be Married To Get Respect? by Migurl: 8:22am On Apr 22, 2015
Wow people really know how to blow matters out of proportion. The keyword here is RESPECT. And like I previously stated, it can be accorded to a person who has been admired for their achievement or actions. That being said, it cancels out the statement that proposes that a woman must be married to get respect because marriage is not the only thing that a woman can accomplish in her life time.

PS. I respect married women because it sure cannot be easy to co-exist with another human being for life (as it should be).
I respect Genevieve Nnaji because she became pregnant at a very young age and she didn't go for the easy option of termination or giving the baby away, I can imagine that it could not have been easy for her to live in Nigeria with all the stigma that would have been put on her, but she stood firm against all odds. Delivered her baby, and made sure she worked hard to feed her child and give her child the best. Today, her hardwork has paid off and she is respected also because she is a great actress and some people admire that achievement and respect her for it.
Let us understand what respect means and not be sentimental about it. RESPECT is what it is. Please do not add "salt and pepper".
Thank you.

Some men are lazy and are gold diggers. Looking for women who have money or whose parents are rich so that they can reap what they have not sown..
But some questions still remain. why is it that the greater percentage of men who always complain about women being materialistic are men who are yet to earn a penny for themselves.
Furthermore, why is it that men do not talk about those ladies that they tried to buy or seduce with their money and the lady asked them to go to hell?
Advice: find yourself that girl who will suffer with you when you are struggling to make it so that when you start earning the big money you will enjoy it with her. Quit nagging.
Family / Re: Must A Woman Be Married To Get Respect? by Migurl: 1:48am On Apr 22, 2015
OP I do not think a woman MUST be married to gain respect. This is because respect by definition is "a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements".
I think that if a woman can elicit admiration through her achievements, abilities and qualities then she should be respected whether she is married or not.

To digress a bit, I have read the entire thread and I want to thank all who have posted their view on this topic.
To generalize about women is not really a mature thing to do. Not every woman really wants to be married, and it does not also mean that the woman intends to continue to indulge in coitus nor does she want to become a Nun. I have seen women who have a passion to remain unmarried but also adopt children who have no parents as their own. Just because it is very fulfilling to them.
It is highly disturbing that some male folk think of women as slaves. Please do not anger if I ask you this question? Will you allow another man treat your wife, sister or daughter as a slave? If your answer is yes, then it is alright but if your answer is no then I beg you to reconsider your thought.
Alas, we are all entitled to our opinion on any topic and also have been created to have different thoughts but let us allow our conscience to guide us in our thinking.
Thank you everyone.

Hi Everyone,

Anyone with Skin Problems and needs free advice or consultation?

I am an internationally trained esthetician with special focus on the needs and care of the Nigerian Skin. I love to help people with skin problems, because I have also had problems with reoccurring acne and some light dermatitis. I find that knowledge is what differentiates us from the western world, as such, I intend to educate people as much as I can on how to care for their skin. I aim to do this while praying for a better Nigeria

Beep me as soon as you can.

Cheers!
Hello OP thank you for your excellent advice here. Where do I start? I have been battling acne for a long time now. I'm 29 years old. Very ashamed of my face, back and upper arm as they are filled with acne and post acne scars. 3 weeks ago I had a break out and I applied retin A cream on it and I awoke the next morning with a terrible rash on my cheeks and jawline. I stopped using it and continued my use of skineal but it has refuse to go away. I did a little research and I think the ugly looking rash like patches is dermatitis. I just bought doxycycline tablets today and started taking it. Then I also bought Funbact A and neutropenia 2 in 1 facial mask/wash (I used to use these products) tho I have never had any adverse reaction with them. Honestly I feel terrible about my face and it had affected my self esteem as I cannot go out without wearing a thick concealer. Please can you advice me on what to do?
