Presidential position is not a gift. APC don't have luxury to throw their ticket to anyhow person especially someone from opposition stronghold who can't deliver regional votes.

When obj was giving out presidential tickets as compensation pdp had 33 states out of 36 states, with ruthless rigging machinery. There was no viable opposition to checkmate PDP in national politics.

APC don't have that luxury. APC needs to field a candidate with political structure and can also deliver region votes.
You can argue back and forth the truth is APC ticket is between Tinubu and osibanjo.
