Crime › Re: How Boko Haram Met Their Waterloo In Marte by mike8804: 2:56pm On Jan 18, 2021 |
alasane: Boko Haram terrorists have a hard time understanding the jig is up. After losing hundreds of fighters in recent weeks, some Boko Haram commanders figured it was a good idea to attack an army base. The attack underscored the illusion of Boko Haram commanders.
Boko Haram insurgents attacked the base in their classic style. Dozens of fighters attacked from four points simultaneously, firing mortars and RPGs, hoping to overwhelm the defenders and overrun the base.
Remember this was the same tactics used in their attack on the Gudun Bali base last Friday. The Nigerian army was not gonna fall for this again.
They allowed the insurgents close in on the base before engaging. Call for aerial support was delayed to give the attackers a false sense of security.
Nigerian troops reinforced the base with orders not to fire their weapons and reveal their position. It must have felt too easy because the wary insurgents attempted to set up a defensive perimeter in a village called Arkuma but changed their mind.
Turns out the insurgents had been firing on mostly empty structure all along. Nigerian troops opened fire from well concealed positions up close, making their RPGs useless. In their confusion the insurgents attempted to fight their way out the ambush but were picked apart.
At 6pm seeing the battle was lost, the insurgents attempted to salvage defeat by attacking the village of arkuma. They mounted on 15 trucks and and approached the village from different directions simultaneously to wreak havoc.
This was when helicopter gunships swooped low and made minced meat of the convoy. Many of them who survived the strike and ran towards the village on foot were cut down by snipers."
Nigeria shall not be terrified by terror! Nigeria will definitely prevail!!! this Hollywood movie sweet for your mouth |

Europe is divided based on tribal affiliations.. we have polish,French, Spaniards, Russians,Germans,British etc. everyone has their different languages, cultures, political class etc. but they work together as European union. while in Africa tribes are jam pack together like sardine to form artificial countries based on Western interests. Nigeria has not work, it can't work and it will never work out. |

Upton: Nice article. Personally, I love the Nigerian culture, so it's something I'll always identify with and be proud of and that's it for me.
However, this is a personal decision. People talking about asking generations "where are you from?" Have you heard of Chi Onwurah who categorically stated she isn't a Nigerian but British even though her father was Nigerian. Did the world fall on her head? Do you think her 3rd generation will ever have anything to do with Nigeria or even claim they are from Nigeria when asked?
I am not in support or against anyone who wants to denounce Nigeria. It's their personal choice. Let every man do what he likes. "If you can't add anything to Nigeria's development..." What has the country and its leaders done to help itself? Some of us just love home and will love to be connected to our roots, not because there's anything special there is nothing like 'Nigerian culture' |

President Muhammadu Buhari has been dealing ruthlessly with them.. But this year, President Buhari will be even MORE VICIOUS! In other words, terrorism and banditry should come to an absolute end this year!

omenka: Watch out. Pdp supporters will still be angry at this news. They lowkey support terrorists and bandits, with the worst of them doing so overtly.
Whenever terrorists or bandits kill Nigerians, they tend to celebrate the carnage. But once news breaks the opposite happened, they call it fake news and post all sort of negative comments to water down the significance of the event.
Opposition indeed. bros, bandits and terrorists don't know PDP or APC supporters, stop politicizing everything |
