Phone calls should not be a luxury. A poor person in the city or village would still like to call and talk with his/her aged parent(s) or siblings.
Today, the telcos also make some money from electronic money transfers, and other channels. They also make their biggest income from corporate customers.
Nigerians had been living long before 2023, and people have witnessed various govts in power so they know when they have been impoverished by a particular govt

Do you want all the people in the country to be so impoverished and destroyed to the extent that are unable to make phone calls or even buy drinks to celebrate anything before you would believe that there is poverty and hunger in the country?

If we go by this policy and Q3 results, then N10 dividend per share is already guaranteed for FBN shareholders, and Q4 could make it higher.
