MrJeremy: Ghana is thinking country, for here Nigeria, we no even understand where we dey go, how can we care much about citizens outside... It is well Ghana has been the leading light in the struggle for Africa independence, unity, freedom, democracy etc. They were the country in African that played the role to mediate and find peace when Nigeria was fighting the Biafra war. They are more pan-Africa than Nigeria is |

motayoayinde: When people like Ben Gvir, Smotrich and AI version of Netanyahu began making TV shows, showing support for Argentina, I knew massive humiliation was on the way for Argentina.
A country under a curse can only attract ill luck. Messi is a great guy but Argentina is not.
In the end, the hand which lifted the Palestinian flag lifted the world cup. The hand which lifted the Israeli (cursed) flag lifted humiliation.
Free Palestine. You people said you killed Netanyahu, celebrated and were happy! That is how you all lie yo yourselves about Israel |

If he needs FX, the once he exports to other country should provide him the needed FX. The govt should make enough crude available to the refinery and sell in naira. If they do not sell to him and the refinery has to import crude oil and pay in dollars, then there will be problems |

* If Elephant closes on full bid today @105.50, it will take only one more day's full bid to see FBNH trading at par with Zenith 😊
** Which stock is next to deliver like The Elephant? I think Zenith is stronger in terms of fundamentals, and pays much higher dividends than FBN, so it is favoured in the long term. |

megawealth01: I was quoted 13,500 USD for one hour helicopter ride in Nigeria. I pay almost 10 Times Cheaper in South Africa.
With houses, everyone prices their own property according to their wish. In South Africa, you can search the value of every property and know what the average value of the area is. The history of every property is available for analysis. The monthly municipality rates carry the current valuation of every property too. Nobody will say their property is worth 1 million dollars when it’s only worth 100,000 dollars.
Nigeria is heavily UNREGULATED. What shouldn’t be luxury is unfortunately luxury. Only 15% of a 230 million population are home owners especially in the cities. The rest are tenants. Simply because houses are over-priced. Even rent is over priced. And worse still, you are expected to pay 2 to 3 years of rent before moving in. But in South Africa, you pay rent month to month.
You can blame the Government but I blame the Nigerian culture of Greed and Classism. Which average Nigerian would pay $13,500 per hour of flight if they didn’t steal the money? Why does an hour helicopter ride cost over 18 Million Naira. Where else in the world are things so expensive?
© Charles Awuzie Please stop flying helicopter in Nigeria!. This is a serious advice! |

zendi: Hmn, the recalcitrant Iran Regime have their own game too, incidentally. They're trying to bluff their way to a goal. The goal is to drag on the crisis with hope to help their allies, the Kpakus, unpatriotic US "Democrats" annihilate Trump's Republican Party in coming elections.
It sounds funny, but the Iranian Regime are themselves actually doing or aiding power shift, IN WASHINGTON.
This report of attack on infrastructure is to enable the senseless "Democrats" start accusing Trump of war crime, civilian targeting, genocide etc, as if Iran has not been rocketing merchant ships and firing missiles at neighbouring nations indiscriminately. Well, you may be right! But the attack on the 3 commercial ships by Iran during the ceasefire (causing the death of an Indian) has made Iran to lose the support and sympathy of most countries and stakeholders. Virtually no country is holding US back now. No one in Europe is saying anything to stop US now, unlike before Iran played into the hands of the US this time around, that is why the US bombing has been more intense now. If Trump is able to achieve what he wants, this war could also turn into the Republicans favour because the Iran issue has been there for long without anyone tackling it head on. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Bombs Gaza Funeral, Mourners Killed (Video) by mikeapollo: 1:55am On Jul 18 |
Neoteny: Your first blunder: equating race with religion. Not all Palestinians are Muslims. There are many Christian and Jewish Palestinians, a reflection of the various peoples that conquered and dominated the region throughout history.
Your second blunder: there's no such thing as "ancient Israelis". Israelis mean the citizens of Israel, a modern day colony created 80 years ago. The people referred to in the Bible were Israelites, not Israelis. Israelites were descendants of Jacob, grandson of Abraham. The ancient Israelites spoke Semitic family of languages such as Hebrew and Aramaic, of which Arabic and Amharic are members. Modern Israelis speak a constructed version of Hebrew mixed with lots of Yiddish (A Germanic language, reflecting the European origin of the early Zionists) and many words borrowed from Arabic (falafel, etc).
Jacob, or Israel (a person, not a place) was himself not a native of the land of the Canaanites. Abraham, his grandfather, was an Akkadian from Ur, now known as Iraq.
The problem with most of you Nigerian Judeo-Christians is you know very little of both Christianity and Judaism or the history of the so-called Holy Land You oeople tell pure lies to distort history and associate the so called Palestinians with the land of Israel but do not want to acknowledge the true owners of if the land Can you nention names of Palestinian kings that ruled over tv5e kingdom of Israelt, Judea, Samaria, etc? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Bombs Gaza Funeral, Mourners Killed (Video) by mikeapollo: 1:48am On Jul 18 |
Neoteny: These are Israelis. They're not remotely related to the ancient Israelites or their descendants. In fact, they're killing the actual descendants of the biblical Israelites. Shameless lies! Claiming that people who do not speak the Hebreww language of the Israelites (i.e. palestinians) are the true Israelites It's like saying that the people whose mother tongue language is French language are the true Englishmen or the people who speak Igbo language as their mither tongue are the true Yoruba people. Shameless nonsense and aburdity! |

RandDigital: Warn Ghana about state capture.
Anyway, SA can give them advice about good governance since their citizens are scattered everywhere as economic refugees.
Are there SA economic refugees in Ghana and Nigeria? Have you ever seen one in your entire miserable life? 😂😂😂🇿🇦🏆 Without support from African countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Zimbabwe etc., SA would probably still be under apartheid. Go and read Mandela's book, ''Long Walk to Freedom'' and learn. You call medical doctors, lecturers, engineers etc. economic refugees? There are many highly educated, hard working professionals from other African countries like Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Zimbabwe etc. who are working in UK, US, Canada, SA etc. because they are qualified and needed. Their fellow citizens back home are also highly educated; reason why they would not behave like you people do by attacking innocent people, If South African citizens become highly educated and hard-working like other citizens, they would be considered good enough for international offers. This is reason why you rarely find SA citizens in reputable international organizations around the globe. Your inability to fit in is what is making you to feel threatened by other professionals in your country. How could a medical doctor, university lecturer etc. take over the job of a taxi driver or cleaner? |

RandDigital: It's like you've been living under a rock for the past 10 years and this is a new revelation to you and are anticipating dooms day. Too late baba. 😂😂😂
We've been talking about state of SA for a decade and we South Africans rescued it through protests against the current and past government.
Things are now on the up, there's some modest economic growth (biggest economy in Africa once again) and people are being probed and arrested for corruption.
So, whats wrong with alerting Ghana that they're entering the danger zone of corruption and cronyism? SA wants to alert Ghana about good governance? How old is SA as an independent republic? Ghana had her independence in 1957. Several ANC activists were students in Ghana, learning from Kwame Nkrumah. They were, fed, protected, educated, given scholarships and even Ghanaian passports to enable them travel around the world. Those students later became your leaders who helped SA achieve independence. So how could SA be the country/people to alert Ghana about good governance? |
