I pray this is not true: SaharaReporters just reported tgat a Kaduna lady, a physiotherapist, has just died naked in the house of David Umahi, minustr if Works and Housing. https://saharareporters.com/2026/07/12/how-physiotherapist-mary-habila-was-found-naked-david-umahis-residence-after-nigerian?fbclid=IwdGRjcATAUfdjbGNrBMBOtWV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABHsLUUxYQPJ2-oLy7oIkKy7aG5_KRHw1AQoSDidbL4XL5XMO7n6LIukHcvIII_aem_CI4hO5nDOj3l5tA8Kf9-tQ |
To burst the bubble of tribal hypocrites: This govt is clueless, nepotistic and corrupt!. This is a statement of fact, not a tribal or ethnic comment. There are all Nigerian tribes in this govt! Tbis is not to give any undue credit to Obi or Atiku. I cannot assess anyone who has not been given the opportunity to rule as president.. I can only assess the one I know as president. Even Obi and Atiku may be worse or better, no one is sure for now . They have to prove themselves For now, it is Gbaja-Gate all the way! We now have ghost agencies in govt which appears in approved national budgets! Incredible! |
searchng4love:You see again? How do you know or assume my "tribesmen" when you dont know me personally? I am a Nigerian. I just refuse to discuss or debate based on tribe or ethnicity. I discuss Governance issues. I criticised OBJ, Jonathan and Buhari! And I will criticise anybody else including Obi and Atiku if they mess up or do not do the right thing if they become president! None of them feeds me and my happiness or joy is not tied to whether they become president or not . Same for Tinubu too! |
searchng4love:Why do we sometimes see things always from narrow ethnic or political lenses? It will not help our country to develop! The CDS may authorise the deployment of troops but he would not be the person to physically lead the actual operation on the ground because he has other junior officers to do that. Both the Major Gen (earlier mentioned) and the CDS are part of the Nigerian Army, and the president is the Commander in Chief for all of them! So what is the sense in denying the Major General and giving the credit or glory to Lt Gen Oluyede and Tinubu alone? The troops that went into the bush to rescue the girls may even have some soldiers who are non-Yoruba.. We must purge our minds of some these things before this ciuntry can make meaningful progress.! Not every comment must be seen as political |
megawealth01:Kudos to him and the junior officers and soldiers. These guys deserve very good conditions of service and motivation because they go through a lot to protect citizens. It is not easy to be a soldier |
It takes an extremely sick fella to identify, think or call anybody or everybody that has a contrary opinion on national issues to be "sick fellas". Very narrow, shallow minded goons who do not understand that democracy is a contest of ideas and opinions, and not a bandwagon of morons who cannit ask critcal questions or demand accountability from their leaders. |
Agbalowomeri:My comment is a general one ; not only in relation to the kidnapped girls. I have no problem with Arise TV because they are not under direct influence of Tinubu even if they are partisan or biased. I expect TVC to be more objective under another govt, but not under Tinubu who owns it. I still wished the rescued kids the best of luck. What else do you want me to say to make you and Jagaban happy? Afterall I did not mention Obi or Atiku in my comment!! |
Jaakay:You dey believe and listen to TVC, a station owned by Tinubu? May God deliver us in this country. Best wishes to the rescued kids. |
Jaakay:Good! We must know where they came from and their pay masters |
megawealth01:So what about the criminal kidnappers? Why is nothing said about them? Were the school kids kidnapped by ghosts? |
chimex38: ![]() |
chimex38:Normal, the govt will surely disclaim such comment. But that should tell you something. See how they treated Senegal fans, even after the AFCON |
Islie:He should add at least one state from East and core North |
Gpropertys:Has the state got been able to solve water problem? Drainage problem? Housing problem? |
presiade:You seem to have a lot of JAZZ!. CHARMS ke? ![]() |
Mirasteel:Thank you; And you too should stop your support for terrorists and hatred towards Israel |
owobokiri:Stop twisting the issue or the story! The guy was specific: he was dropped by Rangers because he was not Igbo; not because he was not good at the time. What happened to different people like Taribo West at Rangers at different times in the past is not the issue here. Stop conflicting the issues. Let Rangers Intl Club respond to the issue if they have contrary facts!. Simple |
megawealth01:Then he should come home to enjoy his Nbillions after the one year in prison |
megawealth01:The guy is a billionaire one year from now.! That is his calculation! He should pray and hope he survives and does not contract a dangerous or terminal disease in prison e.g. Tuberculosis. But CBN/EFCC can still go ahead and place a restriction or total freeze on his bank accounts and prevent him from accessing the money even after prison. That would be double tragedy for him. That is if the money is still in his account(s) |
chimex38:The Moroccans actually said they were playing for the glory of only Morocco, and not necessarily for Africa. That also contributed to why many Africans switched support to France |
megawealth01:France is ''Africa United'' team, so it is easy for Africans to give them support. Like one African president said (I think Senegal's), the players in the French team are mostly Africans. |
megawealth01:That is the mentality of some of them. Maybe because they are so close to Europe. The problem is they cannot just join Europe by force, so they make do with their association with ''Africa''. You can see how they treated Senegal fans For me, Egypt is more ''African'' in their attitude than Morocco. |
deathwing:Some stocks are just overpriced! Hopefully, future dividends, bonuses etc would compensate somehow |
Raider76:The fight is affecting crude oil price which also affects Nigeria's economy, NGX and global economics Some people here are ''professors'' and ''lecturers'' with sound knowledge in these things. We're learning from them. |
Oasisblue:The thing with Trump is talking and talking! Raegan and Bush would not talk much, but go ahead and get the job done, once and for all.! But Trump talks a lot and is not stable or consistent in his comments. He says too many things before he attacks, and sometimes reveals secrets e.g. when he wanted to bomb the power plants and bridges in Iran before Iran sent women and children to form human shields around the power installations. Trump is a ''deal'' man. Once you agree and sign to his demands, he would not attack you. |
Oasisblue:A ''typical American'' in this context means a typical Republican e.g. Raegan and Bush., They do not have patience when they want to crush an enemy or terrorists. Barak Obama is a Democrat. How many times have Democrats ruled America, compared to Republicans? The answer should tell you who is ''typical American'' |
megawealth01: ![]() I never give up on him yet, but I cannot ask anyone to tie down his/her investment in Oando for too long if he/she cannot go the long haul or does not fully appreciate the intricacies of the company and industry. Wale will deliver when the company fully recovers. Recall gave bonuses and dividends of N3 etc. when Oando was making profits 2007-2011 |
ghm:It depends on your goal, strategy and how long you want to invest the money. If you cannot hold for long and you have other stocks with better prospects in the short term, it is better you sell your Oando and invest the money in the other stocks. This is just an opinion; you may ignore it or take it. It all depends on what you want |
crownprince2017:This your mentor, na wa oooo! You must have been learning soooooooo many things from him.! We go hear the results very soon. This life is an unending mysterious mystery! ![]() |
crownprince2017:I get your drift, But remember, in a democracy; antagonizing = opposition. So, there is no way there can be a democracy without some people antagonizing (opposing) the govt. Depression is bad thing. Don't wish it for your friends or enemies, whether they are in APC, PDP, LP, NNPP, NDC, ADC or wherever! You also mentioned our ''Oando''.... you dey touch our tail, but we no go talk. We leave you for God! May He have mercy on you people mocking us the Oandites, Our ''prophet'' is on the ''Mountain'' and is coming back with good ''revelations and prophecy''. Y'all shall witness the goodness of the Lord in due course. ![]() |
crownprince2017:Let's stop this hypocrisy about ''antagonizing this govt''. Some of us talk as if criticizing this (or any) govt is a taboo in a democracy. OBJ criticized previous govt before he became an elected president, same with Buhari. Tinubu critized/antagonized all previous govts before him. Did you wish that anyone of them died of depression? But here you are, as a citizen, wishing evil (depression) to befall your fellow ordinary Nigerians who may be criticizing the govt. that they pay their taxes to. If not their govt, do you want them to criticize or antagonize God for creating and putting them in this country? |
