RandDigital:I don't think you understand what you're talking about, Do you go into investments to share wealth or to make profits and gain more? If investments were meant to share wealth, why are you people fighting the whites who own majority of investments in your country, since they would be sharing their wealth with you blacks? Nigeria did not ''come''. Nigeria has always been part of Africa. It is SA that ''came'' to join the party after Mandela was released. How could SA have ''always been'' the giant of Africa when you blacks were being dehumanized. discriminated against, killed, maimed and destroyed by the whites. ? You stll have the shameless ego to boost about this.? Why are you quiet on the main issues about the terrible things you people are doing to black people, while white people without residence permits and papers are walking free in your country? |

Na wa oo. There is fire on the mountain ooo.! Someone said he could have become the presdent of Nigeria if he had used all his working life to go into fraud, drugs and politics! Incredible! I am waiting to read commenrs and reactions from @Agba and co.. I cant believe this! |

RandDigital:You seem to be very proud of apartheid SA of the 1960s -1990, just because you want to justify your unfortunate actions against fellow blacks? Was SA even ''part of Africa''? You don't know your history anymore? |
RandDigital:SA was always under economic sanctions until apartheid was over; so when was the economy at ''the apex for along time until economic sanctions''? You seem not to understand the difference between investments and trade: SA biggest companies are making their biggest profits from investments in other African countries; It is different from trading (buying and selling goods/services) between SA and other countries like China, India etc Can you mention SA biggest companies operating in China, India, US etc. that are making billions and repatriating the profits back home?. Look, let me tell you something: Personally, I like and love SA and the people. No true African can hate or have bad feelings towards you guys, because of the unfortunate experience you went through. I have personally visited SA, and visited Alexandria. I cried when they showed me the house where Mandela lived and was arrested. I also cried, shed uncontrollable tears and wept like a baby (in Lagos) the day I heard that Lucky Dube was shot. But it seems you guys do not appreciate history and are forgetting to learn from history. You guys should know that every country in Africa has had a time when they fell into some economic or social problems, and migration is a natural phenomenon. For some time after independence, Nigeria used to be the best economy in Africa up to the early 1980s; we had Indians, Zimbabweans, Ghanaians, etc as doctors. lecturers in Nigeria. But things became tough and the citizens starting migrating Ghana was the richest country in West Africa in pre-independence era (due to abundance of Gold); but things deteriorated and citizens started migrating. Ghana was home to a lot ANC activists, Robert Mugabe, Kenneth Kaunda etc because of the influence of Kwame Nkrumah. Mugabe was a teacher in Ghana for many years and his first wife was Ghanaian. Hugh Masekela lived in Ghana for several years in the 1960s; he joined a musical band (Hedzoleh) there along with Fela Kuti; and that is where they both learnt the Afro-centric sound that is now themed ''Afrobeat'' Zimbabwe had very good economy; things became tough and the citizens started migrating. Do you think SA is immune to these economic challenges for ever? How do you guys want to be treated if things should become tough in SA and the citizens migrate to other neigbhouring countries? Even if you want to evict illegal migrants from your country, you don't have to attack, kill and loot their shops. Just report them to the police or immigration! What would Africa become if every country should do what SA is doing to fellow blacks?. How do guys feel when you attack, and kill fellow blacks who look just like you, while there are thousands of white immigrants, Lebanese, Indians, etc. who do not have the right papers and yet you guys cannot do anything to them? Don't you have some conscience? Would Mandela be happy in his grave for these things? The man that said you should not retaliate what the white man did to you? But now, you kill innocent fellow black men who have done nothing against you! |
megawealth01:Oando na ''ogbanje''. That's why ''somebory'' dey get mouth to laugh us na |
Agbalowomeri:Haba! I am not ''Jonah'' oooo! Please dont throw me out of the boat (bus). There are many sharks/bandits inside the water / on the road. ![]() |
RandDigital:You forgot that South Africa was nothing near ''richest country in Africa'' during apartheid? The economy expanded only after apartheid was over and SA companies had the opportunity to expand into other African countries; and they started repatriating profits back home every year to improve the local economy. Companies like MTN, SA Breweries, Nampak, RMB, ABSA, etc. are making profits in other African countries and repatriating back to SA. Yet you discriminate against these fellow blacks but cannot do anything about white immigrants. Shameful inferiority complex |
pluto09:Okay. I hope it benefits stakeholders and shareholders. FBN used to be my biggest stock but sold it some years back when it was stagnating N4 |
Agbalowomeri:The heart of man is desperately wicked; who can know it except the Lord that knows all things (Jeremiah 17:9) ![]() So says the Lord of hosts |
Agbalowomeri:Okay, I withdraw. @Agba is not inside anywhere. Still waiting for GT and Zenith at N20 so he can buy! And Access Bank at N5 or N2! |
Agbalowomeri:I say ''Amen''. Go on ''preacher''. The man apparently dey inside FBN.....see expectations cum rationalization per excellence! The same @Agba that says GT and Zenith should get to N20 before he will buy ![]() |
ppogba:Tell @Agba make he hear well well |
Agbalowomeri:How would you say ''if'' FBN is able to pay N5 dividend? Why cant you say ''if'' they are able to pay N1.50 or N2 dividend? A whooping N5? Where you see that ''if'' for N5? For dream? ![]() |
Agbalowomeri:FBN to pay N5? Keep hoping and dreaming! If you see N2 make you shout Hallelujah! |
megawealth01:If FBN fails to match ZB & GT interim dividends, the price would drop; at least for some time. |
Itzlinda:When a beautiful, brilliant, intelligent, money conscious, investment-savvy babe curses and drags a bank stock, it is because the CEO is a cowboy! She will soon come around. All that she needs is some fantastic dividends (ladies like money) and some capital appreciation. ![]() I have discussed with AIG and Tony....they will sort you out soon! |
ositadima1:I think it will hit N100; going above Zenith may be tough; The release of Q2 results will influence a lot of things. Failure to declare or match interim dividends from Zenith, GT could reverse FBN price gains. |
Raider76:I agree with you; Those selling are making good profits, of course. My comment is to highlight the pros and cons for those who may be buying now to keep for the long term. |
toyeoye:Someone is mopping up FBN shares; may be Otedola or some other stakeholders. Good for those who are selling and making profits. My concern for buyers is that dividend yield of FBN is not too fantastic! |
Agbalowomeri:Always look at the bigger picture: GOVERNANCE! |
9 Agbalowomeri:You have not answered my questions too : Nigeria was in court to do what, by what, for wha? Is this the first time Nigeria would qualify or not qualify for the world cup? Why was it captured under the Presidency and not under Sport Ministry/NFA budget? What is Special Support Group? Who are the members ? Is it another fake group! If you want to defend them, then stay on one lane. You cannot say it was right for them to include such controversial, unverified, vague allocation in the budget, and at the same time say there is no issue because it has not been released/spent.. That N6 4b allocation has potentially denied other competing needs or sectors the benefit of being catered for in the 2026 budget. |
Agbalowomeri:Posting a news item does not necessarily mean the OP believes or does not believe the story. It basically means that the OP deems the topic or subject as thought-provoking, for people to discuss. share opinions and perspectives. In any case, if your answer is to make any sense, then we should have had the World Cup preparation expenses under the budget of the Sports Ministry/NFA. But this is called ''Special Presidential Support Group for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers''. Which qualifiers would require as much as N6.44b as at December 2025? Why is it coming from the Presidency, and not Sports Ministry/NFA? And what is Special Support Group? November 16, 2025: Nigeria played its last WC qualifier against DRC and lost. December 19,2025: President forwarded the 2026 National Appropriation Bill (Budget) to National Assembly March 31, 2026: National Assembly approved the 2026 Budget April 17, 2026: President signed the Budget From November 16 to December 19, 2025 is more than one month before the president sent the Appropriation Bill the National Assembly for consideration! So @Agba:, Do you still want to defend or rationalize this obvious lapse? (I don't want to call it gross incompetence or corruption for now, even though it clearly indicates as such) |
Agbalowomeri:Why are you asking me questions that should be answered by the people who drafted the budget? Did you see any comment by me? I only posted what is already in the news, and you are directing questions at me? Has the govt been able to answer questions on how a so-called ''fake agency'' got approved budget allocation, expenditure and office allocation at the federal secretariat? Better ask the govt to be more meticulous and transparent than be always edgy, apprehensive and defensive when news on scandals and allegations break! |
PFIPC Scandal Widens As Atiku Queries ₦6.44bn World Cup Budget The former Vice President also linked the PFIPC controversy to what he described as questionable provisions in the 2026 Appropriation Act, drawing attention to an allocation of ₦6.44 billion for a “Special Presidential Support Group for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.” “How does a government budget ₦6.44 billion for World Cup qualifiers after Nigeria had already been eliminated? Who inserted the provision, who approved it, and what was the intended purpose of the allocation?” Atiku queried. https://www.nairaland.com/8709992/pfipc-scandal-widens-atiku-queries |
Mankind2024:Na wa ooo. Tinubu himself (as a grown up politician and ex-governor) was criticizing, even insulting a sitting president of Nigeria by calling him a ''drunken fisherman'' But now, no one should criticize the person who criticized former presidents? I don't get it. But it is okay (not to drag it further) |
Personal attacks using derogatory words, terms, insults, graphics etc not necessary in this forum. Let's disagree or agree based on principles, facts, opinions etc. But no need going too personal. It helps no one |
XTruth:Trumps wants them to sign to the terms stipulated by US, not the ones that Iran wants. And that include a declaration not to attack ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz |
Agbalowomeri:This is the man that has been tempting me with Tinubu-related matters in the last couple of days |
