This is impressive. Look no further. You should apply to University of Texas El Paso for MS in Mathematics. Every master's student of the mathematics department, UTEP, is awarded a graduate assistantship, which comes with half tuition remission, monthly stipend and health insurance benefits. If you're applying for Spring 2018 (January 2018 start date), the application deadline is November 1. Not much time left, so start right away. TOEFL is waived for Nigerian students and they require you to upload a scanned copy of your transcript (any student or personal copy that you have) when applying online and after being given admission, you will be emailed to have Novena University mail them an official copy.

Ya, the exclusion of F grades from WES CGPA evaluations and the upgrades of our C, D and E results to B, C+ and C respectively make their conversion more favorable.

@lonelyhrt...do not be discouraged yet. If you have a copy of your transcript already with you, you can do the WES evaluation yourself to see if the final comes out to at least 2.5/4.0, before you go ahead and pay for the official evaluation. Here is how you do it:

any A you have still remains A = 4 points
your B becomes a B+ = 3.33
your C becomes a B = 3.00 points
your D becomes a C+ = 2.33
your E becomes a C = 2 points
your F still remains an F = 0 (but do not include any failed courses as part of your calculation, only the years that you passed them).

The rest of the CGPA calculation is as usual.

A 3-unit course you made a C in (the C is now a B on the US scale = 3 points) now becomes 3 units * 3 points = 9 grade points.
A 2-unit course you made a D in now becomes C+ = 2.33 = 2 * 2.33 = 4.66 grade points
A 2-unit course you made an E in now becomes C = 2 points = 2 * 2 = 4.00 grade points and so on.

As usual, sum up all your grade points, and divide by the total number of units you did from first year to final year (excluding the units for all failed courses), that should give you your CGPA on the 4-point scale. Do the conversion and let us see if it comes up to 2.5/4.0, and if it does, congratulations. You may now proceed to the official WES evaluation.

In addition to Bowie State University and Morgan State University, I know two other schools that have 2.5/4.0 as minimum GPA requirement for bachelors degree that could admit you for Masters. Do not give up hope yet but you will have to be up and doing about it. Masters in Pharmacology with a 2.50/4.00 GPA may not be too feasible and I strongly advise that you go for similar but less-competitive health courses just so that you get admitted and get in the US and you could try changing your course after first semester of study in the US (provided you make a 3.0/4.0 GPA in your first semester). It is doable but you gotta work hard for it.

what do u mean by the bolded pls?

Harpaa:

Michigan Technological University accept unofficial transcript , and there is no admission processing Fee involved , check it out and get bck to me, you would only be asked to submit your official transcript when you get to campus before classes begin , ex ladokite as well and i studied Management and Accounting from Faculty of management science , MTU is a Top school as well in USA , you can check that out online, but you would be needing a good score in GRE

please when was that? is it still recent?

New edition of discounted promo offer for GRE and TOEFL is out again for just 15 people and is likely for it to increase above 15. All the 15 applicants will pay 50% while some benevolent poeple on this thread are paying 50% to subsidize it for them but they don't want me to mention their names as usual.

Due to some issues encountered during the previous edition, payment is required before test registration this time around because i am not going to wait for 24 hours anymore before requesting for payment. Enough of all the touching stories. It is not by force to benefit from this discounted promo offer.

It's easy to partake, go to www.ets.org/gre or www.ets.org/Toefl and create your Ets account first. GRE is $205 while Toefl is $180, multiple it by 370 and divide it by 2 to get the 50% of the amount you pay. Make sure you register before sending me login details for the TOEFL or GRE registration.

1. Type of test.
2. User name.
3. Password.
4. Date you want to write the test.
5. Month you want to write the test.
6. Phone number. (please let the phone number be reachable)
7. State you want to write the test.
8. Name of the center you will prefer.
9. Send me pm to give you account details for payment.
10. Notify immediately you send payment
11. the exchange rate is #370 to $1
12. You divide the total cost by 2 to get the 50% rate

I beg of you that want to partake, kindly do the fee calculation very well and don't send me below the fee payment because i will automatically delete you from the offer list and please be sure of your test date and center before sending me your payment and details because i won't call anyone this time around to verify test date and center. I don't want incomplete details to be send to me and to all those sending people my email and phone number kindly notify me first or better still show them this page to send me pm.

N.B This is first come and first serve because i will work on the payment i received first.

Terms and conditions. Payment is required first before test registration in the edition.

God bless the good people behind this. Amen

thanks alot in advance bro
