First things first....no such thing as tourist visa.

What you are referring to as tourist visa is actually a visitor visa. Then, note that a visitor visa is a TRV..temporary resident visa.the next level is a PR..permanent resident visa

Getting Powmr has been scarce, I am considering Growatt over Felicity as Felicity is now way expensive compared to the Price of Growatt.

I would appreciate tips from any one who has an idea of Growatt brands.

I may be biased, but I'll say it is PowMr. This is because I have a friend that was having so many issues with his Felicity charge controller, but when he changed to PowMr, the problem disappeared.

You can invite anybody...but can't sponsor just anybody

It is very possible, It surprises me when people like you conclude as though you are the one in charge of these processes.

From oshodi...take a bus going to egbeda, drop at sobo bus stop and cross tp the other side, the alimosho passport office is just behind the brt busstop on the left hand side when you drop

Okay...I registered and paid online on Saturday Nov 11th afternoon and yesterday morning my application had moved past secretariat routing. However the sms I got yesterday morning says capture expiry date is November 12th which is a day before.

I want to know if there is really a timeline one must appear for the biometric capture after getting the sms and what documents to go with for the capturing

I paid online, the actual 30k. But capturing officer(a woman) was hesitant to capture me. She said I'll need to pay. She actually delayed me (around 10 minutes) because I said I called their official customer care. Others there were giving her 3k, 5k, actually, they'll expect you to give them a price first.

Inshort, she didn't collect anything from me. And I got my certificate around 5/6pm same day.

Do a mail to secretariat@possap.gov.ng and tell them to help you confirm your invoice and move your file. Make sure your email body contains your invoice number and file number.

It's called Police Clearance Certificate

Go to possap.gov.ng, you need to register. It costs 30k, which you'll pay on the portal. You'll most likely get your certificate the same day you do biometrics.

Also, officers you'll meet there may ask you to pay something ooo

Do you advise one to do it online himself or go through an officer? I am asking because I know how the officers in passport office delay people who do the registration online themselves..You know this is Lagos and people can be wicked and selfish.

Please I am in the process of submitting my Visitor Visa application using the New IRCC portal.

I need help on what category to upload my Nigerian job offer letter to because I am seeing a placeholder for current employment letter (from Canadian employer) which I dont have. and I didn't mention at any point while filling the form that I have a canadian job offer.

I am going to upload my invitation letter and plan to upload my Job offer letter and leave approval letter as hometie documents under additional documents.
Should I do this or upload the offer letter under the Employer letter(employer in Canada category) and upload the leave letter as additional documents?

I look forward to responses from persons that have faced this same issue while applying.

Why is NIN difficult for you to get?

I don't think including it or not will affect the approval or disapproval of a visa, but it is better to include it if you have one.

For peace of mind, go register and get your NIN number. Getting one is very easy these days, not difficult like it used to be.

Please what's the process of adding NIN? nder what category of documents should it be uploaded?

Good morning all, please how can one avoid one's application from getting to Accra VO? Is it correct to say all spousal applications (outland) submitted from Nigeria will always go to the Accra VO?

It is not difficult, just follow these steps I will show you.

1) The first thing is to get your documents ready which are;

a) International passport and any other means of identification.
b) Birth certificate or affidavits of your age
c) State of origin,
d) Marriage declaration (If already married) or bachelor/spinsterhood affidavits. You can get this at the federal high court only which is #200 bike from the registry to the court. It will cost you #1500 each.
e) Passport for each of you.

2) Visit ecitibiz.com, create an account, choose new marriage, choose Ikoyi registry, fill all the required information.

3) There are three sections there which are general info, husband details and wiife' details.

b) In the general details, you will fill the information there and choose your date. Two dates are compulsory; The oath date and Marriage date. The oath date is a Tuesday while the marriage date can be any other date. On the site, there is a day there that requires additional fee I think Saturday. Tuesday to Friday is fine but Thursday is the busiest day. So choose Tuesday for your oath and any other day. Oath date comes first. This date must be 21 days earlier ie if today is 1st of may, you can choose 22nd of may up ward.

c) Scan all the documents above in their respective designation. However, there is no designation for your international passport so you will upload it under additional documents, then title it as International Passport for Adekunle Ajasin.

d) Ensure you check once again before submitting.

e) You will be asked to make payment at the process of final submission.

4) You will be asked to download remita which contains your marriage application details and the amount of #15000. Proceed to the bank to pay 15150 (charges inclusive). An e-receipt will be sent to your email. You can print this receipt incase the bank network is bad. But the bank will give you.

5) The payment validates your application form. So download the receipt alongside the main application form.
Kindly note that it will show "Open" when it's successful done. It will show "Edit" if it's not concluded yet.

6) Proceed to the registry with copies of each. 3 copies of the receipt and 1 copy of the rest documents uploaded.

7) If there was any document you didn't upload and you've submitted, you will receive a message on your phone and email a day befor your oath to upload it. It doesn't come with any penalty.

On the day of your oath, just attend early. It doesn't take time. Bring along #500. On or before that day, you will have gotten an approval message. If you didn't get, kindly go to the account or admin session, they will attend to you. But it isn't any big deal at all because you will get.

9) On the day of marriage, get there early as the number at the gate will be used to usher you in. Afterwards, they will call you in and give you guidelines. Refer back to the article above.

10) That's all. If you face any difficulty, kindly reach out to me. Will advise you but most importantly, the online chat support is very helpful

I work in a local government (marriage registry )with evidence, you can get it in any local government.I helped someone to do his own in my office and his sister came for it.What you need to bring is AFFIDAVIT FOR BACHELORHOOD

To be honest with you, I don't have the person's contact. I got the link through a family friend and initially he wanted to collect more than 5k but he didn't because of my referral.

I got a contact there who wants to do everything for me for 32k...but I'm not convibced she would do the process rightly because she said I should snap and send her pictures of all our documents...and didn't say we should come with originals at all for sighting or verification

Actually if your contact is a genuine person she should be able to do it for that amount, but as for us we did it online but as per 9ja thing we had to pay someone 5k to validate our documents. The validation means you have to travel to their office to do verification before the wedding date.

Great...I honestly prefer doing the online part myself and getting to pay 5k for the validation. Please do you have the contact of the person you paid for the validation?
