The respective partners of the Leicester striker and Man Utd legend are embroiled in a libel battle relating to allegations of leaking stories A bitter legal battle between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney has taken another twist, with the High Court learning that messages sent by the wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy saw Rooney – who is married to Manchester United legend Wayne – referred to as a “nasty b*tch” and a “c*nt” who “needs to get over herself”. In what has become known as the ‘Wagatha Christie’ case, Rooney has accused Vardy of passing stories to The Sun newspaper that are based on information which could only have been acquired from posts on a private Instagram account. What are the allegations from Rooney? Rooney claims to have operated a sting operation in 2019 that saw her slowly restrict the number of people that could see her Instagram posts until only Vardy was left. When news continued to leak out to the national media, the wife of Derby County’s current manager claimed to have found her mole. She posted on social media: “For a few years now someone who I trusted to follow me on my personal Instagram account has been consistently informing The Sun newspaper of my private posts and stories. “There has been so much information given to them about me, my friends and my family - all without my permission or knowledge. After a long time of trying to figure out who it could be, for various reasons, I had a suspicion. “To try and prove this, I came up with an idea. I blocked everyone from viewing my Instagram Stories except one account. (Those on my private account must have been wondering why I haven’t had stories there for a while). “Over the past five months I have posted a series of false stories to see if they made their way into The Sun newspaper. And you know what, they did! Vardy’s former agent, Caroline Watt, is also alleged to have had an ongoing working relationship with The Sun that allowed information to be leaked. She is alleged to have said when seeing Rooney’s post calling out those that were operating behind her back: “Such a victim. Poor Coleen … And it wasn’t someone she trusted. It was me.” The bigger picture Vardy has strenuously denied the allegations made against her by Rooney and has run up a multi-million pound legal bill in bringing a libel case. A lot of potential evidence in the case has, however, gone missing or been lost, with Watt claiming to have accidentally dropped her phone into the North Sea shortly after Rooney’s lawyers requested access to it. “Coincidentally, around the same time, all media files from Mrs Vardy’s WhatsApp conversation with Ms Watt also bizarrely disappeared (and from all backups), whilst apparently in the process of exporting it to her solicitors,” said Rooney’s lawyers. Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has said that his “WhatsApp was hacked and all conversations were deleted and could not be restored”, while a laptop used by Rebekah Vardy around the time of the incidents in question “no longer functions”. China’s President Xi Jinping has created his own political ideology, as the leader of the Communist Party. “Xi Jinping Thought” were mentioned several times at the Communist Party Congress. I read a recent message about the lessons he learned from his father while he was young and the influence on him. The lessons about truth, experience and generosity was very well encapsulated in this short story. As a child, I was a selfish child. I always think of myself first with good things, never consider the feelings of others. As a result, the companions left me one by one. I am very upset over it, and laid the blame to others. One night, my father cooked two bowls of noodles. There was a white egg on one bowl and none on the other. My father asked me, which bowl you prefer? During then, eggs were very precious food. It was only on a festive or occasion like birthday that we had the privilege having egg in a meal. I would not miss such opportunity and with no hesitation, I chose the bowl with eggs. My choice was wrong. I was surprised that my father’s bowl actually contained two eggs underneath the noddle. I regretted it and hated myself for being too impatient. Noticed my reaction, my father smiled and said to me: “Son, you must remember, what is visible to the eye might not be true, one who want to take advantage of others will eventually suffer a big loss.” The next night, my father cooked two bowls of noodles again. There was still a white egg on one bowl and none on the other. My father asked me to choose. I learned from the previous experience and chose the bowl with no eggs on the surface. The father watched me silently and did not utter a word. I quickly picked up the chopsticks, stirred the noodles to find the eggs underneath it. I was disappointed that there was no egg except the soup and noodle in the bowl. At this time, my father said to me thoughtfully: “Son, you must remember, do not trust too much in previous experience, as life sometimes deceives you. However, you don’t have to worry or sad over it. Life experience is something you cannot learn from textbook.” On the third night, my father cooked two bowls of noodles. It looked exactly the same as the previous nights. My father asked me to choose and I did not act rashly. Instead, I said to my father: “Dad, you have sacrificed so much for me and this family and you get to choose out of my respect to you!” The father did not decline and chose the bowl with an egg on it. I guess there was definitely no egg in the other bowl. To my surprise, I had two white eggs underneath the noodle in the bowl. My father looked up and his eyes was full of kindness. He said to me lightly: “Son, you must remember, when you think about others, good luck will bestow upon you.” I was stunned. Since then, I have taken these three lessons as my principles of life. Regardless of whether it is for people or things, the first thing that comes to mind is always the interests of others. As my father rightfully said it, luck bestow upon me one after another. Going to hell will not be decided by what we do but what we did not do. That will be not believing in the lordship (death and resurrection of Jesus Christ). If we need our hand work to go to heaven then Jesus death will be in vain. Righteousness is not by hand work but by faith (Romans 9:30 (KJV) What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.) Most preacher should read and meditate on this verse.(Romans 10:2-4 (KJV) For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.) All that is needed of a person to be saved is said in these verse (Romans 10:8-13 (KJV) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.) Preacher are meant to preach salvation not condemnation. (Romans 10:15 (KJV) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!) Because (Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.) After being saved what you should do is meditate on Roman 12, you can be perfect as God just read between line then meditate on what you read, not just read through and start spewing nonsense. 3 Likes |
