All of a sudden Sahara desert reporters have become a credible source of news for some of you just because GEJ Administration is involved. So that when it favors you , Sahara becomes your key witness and at some other time you discard and dissociate yourselves from same Sahara reporters. It is called speaking from both mouth with a split tongue/double tongue.

Na una know, for me those Sahara Gossips don't impress me so I won't even waste my time and I'm sure GEJ won't blink.

Eucharia was apparently ill-advised. It's either they're looking for an opportunity to get a foreign  or a male coach or She just didn't study same Germans She played against in her playing days. IMHO they would have gone for some make me shine country club to loosen-up first and give them time to prepare but no, we must over do, eh see am now, Abi them don score us again ni grin grin grin

Travel / Re: Arik Again? Passenger Hold Arik Plane Hostage For 3 Hours by mikeoscar: 9:37pm On Oct 26, 2010
Arik is pathetic! In late August this year, I think 24th or so, a friend of mine travelling from London via Arik suffered a whole 7 hours long delay for a flight that was supposed to leave London at dust for Lagos but did not leave till the next morning thereby delaying those who were to leave on same plane from Lagos on the return leg.
The Airline did not inform them about the delay prior to the flight, No formal or informal apology by Airline or inflight crew, the public entertaiment system didn't come on through-out the flight and the cabin crew were down right nasty. He got to Nigeria and bought a BA ticket for the return trip, ofcourse lost out on the Arik ticket (He was so upset He didn't mind).

My guy, has vowed not to fly Arik even for free unless He his life were in grave danger and had no other options at all.

That pic is too real to be a photoshop. It really seems as if they were posing for a kiss.

Oge, I don't know the Derenle fellow but the pix is massively photo-shopped. Infact they did a poor job of it even a color-blind or a semi-literate in these matters can spot the flaws.

Child please !!!

Where did u see Arsenal fans beef their x-players that left the club? Did u watch Arsenal match yesterday?

Did you observe what happened when Eduardo scored against Arsenal? Read the link below and see for yourself.

Emm, Ashley Cole, Alhaji Nic Anelka and Emmanuel Adebayor.

BTW, it's easy to applaud Eduardo when you are 5 goals up late into the game, that is a no brainer.
Politics / Re: Gej Nailed Finally- Okah Spills The Bin! by mikeoscar: 11:07pm On Oct 05, 2010
That one statement has killed Jonathan severely.

Seriously,it's getting boring now.

Now i see why Arsenal and Manu fans say we are boring grin grin grin . This is getting real boring.
If we beat Arsenal at Emirates in the second leg, then next season we will just dash them 6 points to "let my people go" tongue grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Vs Arsenal [2 - 0] On Sunday 3rd October 2010 by mikeoscar: 6:11pm On Oct 03, 2010
One day we will win Chelsea we just have to keep believing

May be your Fabrigas would have made a difference so that the match would have been 1-1 until Alex's Rocket propelled shot. Give n take His presence would have made it 2-1 instead of 2-0 and ofcourse we would still have had 3 points in our kitty.

Arsenal played well but the Chelsea defence was just too tricky for them. I still don't understand why wenger does not instruct his boys to shoot from outside the box when playing against us instead of the boys trying to work the ball into the net like a "monkey-post" game.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Vs Arsenal [2 - 0] On Sunday 3rd October 2010 by mikeoscar: 5:48pm On Oct 03, 2010
Why the hell did Ferreira just come on?

I was also mumbling dissaproval when He came in and soon after He over tipped the ball to an arsenal mid-fielder.
I hope he doesn't foul anybody in the 18 yards box grin grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Vs Arsenal [2 - 0] On Sunday 3rd October 2010 by mikeoscar: 5:13pm On Oct 03, 2010
Drogba must score against arsenal @ all times. . . even if he plays for arsenal he will score an own goal!

grin grin grin grin grin, MUZBO, MUZBO.

The guy is probably high on Arsenal.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Vs Arsenal [2 - 0] On Sunday 3rd October 2010 by mikeoscar: 5:05pm On Oct 03, 2010
WTF! always some luck on his side, drogba! I no like this dude at all

Hey guy, where's the sportsmanship in you? Applaud the class of a goal and move on, many other players would have missed the opportunity because it was very tight.
BTW check my earlier post, I said it was going to be de-ja-vu for drogba. Game still on and hopefully more to come from him.
Arsenal have played well, peharps one of their best formation this season and dominated over 20minutes of the game but no goal to show for it.

Let's see if Arsenal come out of the changing room smoking but make no mistakes, Chelsea will be waiting grin grin

Now I regret thinking Carlo had a game plan.He just gave this game away like He doesn't care.

Hope he learns from this, four goals in front of home fans, 2 players out, what was He thinking

People like Shola Ameobi are not rookie players, He may not have the Character  or opportunity to play in the  big four but that does not mean dude can't bite if He gets the chance. Now we start gulping goals everybody else become confident that we are roundly beatable sad.
Crime / Re: US Police Cracks Nigerian-mexician Drug Cartel Link by mikeoscar: 3:52pm On Sep 22, 2010
Dude is honestly a big fool, he would have been better if he just worked a security job or drove cab for a living.  But no, I must hit it big by all means, well congrats you are now a big time drug bust.   Honestly in America crime does not pay, it can be 10yrs down the road the Feds will still get your backside.

Spot on! Let me also add that when they so-called "hit it big by all means". It starts driving them crazy, trust Naija men, they start throwing loud parties everywhere and bragging all over the place and of course the feds will be watching and gathering intelligent information before the eventual bust.  These dudes are disgraceful to say the least.
Crime / Re: US Police Cracks Nigerian-mexician Drug Cartel Link by mikeoscar: 3:45pm On Sep 22, 2010
Now you'll understand why Arizona is seeking tougher laws for illegal immigrants and in the Process this criminals will make things more difficult for  legal/illigal migrants of Latino and African species even though most of them may just be looking for their small garri with no intention to do petty crimes and big ones like thie one reported here. Many more nagative press for Nigeria and our green passport.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: League Cup: Chelsea Vs Newcastle [3 - 4] On 22nd Sept 2010 by mikeoscar: 3:01pm On Sep 22, 2010
that is disaster and catastrophy, Ancelotti shodnt try and emulate Prof. wenger cos he will fail at the end of the day
any adviser around shod make effort to hola him before its too late

Wenger has changed. He used a sledge-hammer (strong) squad yesterday to hammer Spurs 4-1.

I strongly believe that with this line-up He is expecting Ramires and Sturridge to do the damage and that is very achievable, let's watch and see undecided
Politics / Re: Saraki Declares For Presidency Today ! by mikeoscar: 6:41pm On Sep 21, 2010
By the way, Saraki's strategy is either to leverage for the Vice Presidential slot or to negotiate for soft landing. The vice presidential slot is not opened anymore, it's been taken by an architect gentleman, Namadi Sambo. I guess Bukkie is overating himself. The bulk of Kwara south vote is guaranteed for Babangida. Particularly, Offa people are fanatical in their support for IBB, therefore, I don't know how Bukkie can even win all Kwara vote. The neighboring Kogi where Saraki's father used to extend his overbearing politics, is 100% for Jonathan. Where else?

As for negotiation for soft landing, Bukkie is just an inch away from jail just as his friend Ibori, you can't finish off three banks, make hundreds of depositors destitute and not end in jail. SGBN, Trade Bank Plc and Intercontinental Bank Plc were directly finished off by Saraki. The future does not look bright for Bukkie if you ask me.

Talk to me!!!!!
Politics / Re: Saraki Declares For Presidency Today ! by mikeoscar: 6:38pm On Sep 21, 2010
Saraki is fronting for IBB. on the day of convention, he will duly step down and declare his support for IBB,all his delegates would vote for IBB, also for some other contenders.
Note: Dr. Bukola Saraki is billed to take over his sister's seat in the senate, while his sister will succeed him in the Illorin Gov't house come May 29, 2011,

They swapping places?? shocked shocked shocked shocked lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Wayne Rooney 'slept With Prostitute While Wife Coleen Was Pregnant' by mikeoscar: 12:36am On Sep 12, 2010
All we keep hearing is how male celebrities slept with this and that (Tiger Woods comes to mind) but nobody talks about how their wives starved them of sExXX. It must always be the man's fault. How unfortunate.

Not a good enough reason for infidelity bro. If a wife "starves" her husband of sex, there are other ways to make peace and get back together and not risking infecting her with STDs and shaming her in the public like this. BTW Tigerwood was just a slowpoke.
Politics / Re: Heavy Fighting - Islamist Sect Attacks Bauchi Prison by mikeoscar: 2:01pm On Sep 09, 2010
Well I would be reading through some Koranic verses and some other historical facts before I can give a full comment on Islam and violence. But a few days ago, Crosstalk on Russian Televison discussed The building of a mosque near ground zero. It was intersting for me to note that one of the guests who claim to have read the Koran suggested the Koran  should be reviewed. According to him what we now term violence is supported in the Koran and he even said that it brings greater reward. The other muslim guest couldnt disagree with his claims. More interestingly all these guys seem to have Arab Origin.

@ mike oscar
Christ never taught eye for an eye and that is not Christianity. There is a difference between Judaism and christianity. so your staement that " Christianity has moved from the law of an eye for an eye over 2000 years ago" is VERY WRONG

Unfortunately we have many people who claim to be christians but are actually misrepresenting Christ. The so called Pastor burning Koran is certainly one of them. I can't see his point rather I see his ignorance

For the BokoHarams the Nigerian government know what to do but that is left to if they are ready to do it. GEJ what's up with these bokos?

@BelaBela,
Many thanks for your response and especially for picking up the highlighted above. I take responsibility for not making myself clear enough and you are VERY CORRECT (my bad) I should have probably said over 6000 years ago  or just referenxced the Old testament or the judaic laws, apparently I was typing and working on some other things at the same time and didn't give much thought to the slip. If you however look at the entire message I posted you will find out that I tried to be consistent in my thoughts as well and didn't try to deliberately mislead this forum.

If you find any other mis-representation in my posts as it relates to scriptures  please feel free to point that out  too.
To support the points I raised ealier, please find Jesus' position on some of these issue in this scriptures

MATHEW 5:38-48 (NIV)

An Eye for an Eye
38"You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.'[g] 39But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
Love for Enemies

43"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor[h] and hate your enemy.' 44But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

I hope I have made myself clearer now.

Shalom
