Your argument does not hold water.. Aisha Buhari must be investigated |
Gbawe:EFCC is also a liar #Aishagate# |
[quote author=afoo02 post=46771495]Premium Times' reporting on Gov. Ayo Fayose's allegation against Wife of the President Aisha Buhari is reckless, factually inaccurate, and libelous all rolled into one. This is particularly disquieting because thousands, perhaps millions, of Nigerians on social media are ignorantly spreading a malicious falsehood against an innocent woman. Read the original New York Times story published on April 29, 2007 (http://www.nytimes.com/…/29/business/yourmoney/29lobby.html…) to know that the "Aisha Buhari" mentioned in the corruption scandal ISN'T the president's wife. In the New York Times story, "Aisha Buhari" identified herself as the "daughter” of “General Muhammadu Buhari," not his wife. Of course, President Muhammadu Buhari has no daughter by that name. The said "Aisha Buhari" is obviously a criminal impostor who has not the remotest relationship with President Buhari either by marriage or by blood. Take a look at her picture, which I downloaded from the New York Times website, and tell me if she bears even the slightest resemblance to Mrs. Aisha Buhari or any of the president's daughters. This lady is a major-league scammer who has refused to reveal her real identity, and Premium Times failed to do basic fact-checking to confirm this. It took me less 2 minutes to find this out. In case you're not able to read the full story from the New York Times, here are excerpts that conclusively show that the "Aisha Buhari" mentioned in the story is neither the president's wife nor any of his daughters. If the real Mrs. Aisha Buhari decides to sue Premium Times (and Ayo Fayose), predicting her success against them in the court is a slam dunk, as Americans say. "As for Ms. Buhari, who is living in Virginia, it’s not clear who she really is. For one, she is under investigation in Nigeria by its Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, said its head, Nuhu Ribadu. "Mr. Ribadu said he is uncertain if her name is Aisha Buhari, but he added that she is not a daughter of General Buhari. The former Nigerian ruler agrees. "'I don’t have any relationship with that Aisha Buhari,' Mr. Buhari said. 'I don’t have any daughter called Aisha Buhari living outside this country. She is not my daughter.' "Mr. Ribadu’s agency has asked American authorities to arrest Ms. Buhari. That has not happened, but the Justice Department has an interest in her. Last summer, she testified before a grand jury investigating Mr. Jefferson, the congressman, who is suspected of soliciting bribes from American companies seeking business in Nigeria." I won't hesitate to criticize Buhari (and his wife) if and when they err, but I won't tolerate irresponsible and malevolent smears on people's reputation. https://www.facebook.com/farooqkperogi/posts/10101942167033970 Cc; lalasticlala, modat How much were you paid? Aisha Buhari is corrupt? |

My money? What are you fasting for, may Allah never answer your prayer and cause your generation. Ameen |

[quote author=DabELLs post=46757222]HIJAB IS THE RECOMENDED HAIR COVER FOR MUSLIM FEMALES ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. EVEN IN AMERICA, MUSLIM WOMEN WEAR HIJAB TO SCHOOLS... BROS I BET YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ISLAM BUT RUMOURS YOU HEAR. Even if they wear it in U.S, are we in U. S? or do dey wear it to missionary schools? |
[quote author=DabELLs post=46753113]ARE YOU TELLING ME ABOUT MY RELIGION OR YOUR RELIGION ![]() I'M A MUSLIM AND ISLAM COMMANDS ALL THE MUSLIM FEMALES TO COVER THEIR HEADS EVERYWHERE THEY GO UNLESS THEY ARE INDOOR WITH THEIR HUSBANDS. COVERING OF HAIR IS MANDATORY IN ISLAM UNLESS A MUSLIM LADY IS NOT OBEDIENT. IT IS A VITAL PART OF ISLAM. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH AREGBE. THINGS LIKE THIS HAS HAPPENED IN LAGOS DURING FASHOLA TIME TOO. YORUBA CAN MEMBERS ALWAYS LOOK FOR TROUBLE. Covering of hair is mandatory, but using of hijab is not mandatory. Aregbesola is a senseless leader Women wear Hijab for a number of reasons, many as a matter of faith or personal comfort, not because they are forced too. Many people believe that Islam mandates wearing Hijab, but that isn’t the case. However, the text of the Qu’ran encourages women to cover their hair. Most Arab and Muslim countries allow women to choose whether to practice wearing Hijab or not. Some societies and communities, including certain extremist groups, mandate by law that women wear Hijab and other forms of covering, but for cultural reasons more so than religious ones... Aregbesola is useless being. |

"Abdulmajid Ali" guess the commissioner is from Northern Nigeria, he should resign for saying rubbish like this... Even when herdsmen invaded Agatu, police didn't say something like this.. He's acting on a script from Northern Oligarchy. |
[quote author=DabELLs post=46749317]Islam commands all muslim females to cover their hair with hijab. Wearing hijab is part of Muslim religious practices for females and every Nigerian has right to practice his/her religion accordingly... IF THAT IS INSULT TO THE CHRISTIANS THEN SOMETHING IS WRONG SOMEWHERE... OSUN CHRISTIANS ARE JUST TROUBLE MAKERS. THE HIJAB DOES NOT EVEN COVER THE SCHOOL UNIFORM. Islam never command Muslims to cover their hair with hijab, even covering of hair is different from wearing of hijab. MUSLIM COMMUNITY WENT TO COURT...... for your information, the Muslim community that went to court was sponsored by Aregbesola |
Wearing Hijab to public schools in Osun State is an insult to Christians and Traditional worshipers.. The governor is very senseless, foolish and stupid... People are just waiting "Christians and Traditional worshipers" are just waiting for the necessary trigger to start riot. Peace at all cause is a sign of cowardness. |
How many person don die because of his cluelessness, herdsmen killing people everyday......... What do you now expect? |
All we need is good governance, With Buhari or without Buhari |
They cannot even try it in my area, you can only where hijab to Muslim schools not Christian Schools .. Aregbesola is bias, Tomori is clueless and a disgrace to christiandom, Najeem is senseless.... Wearing Hijab to Christian public schools is an Insult to our Sensitivity.. |

Die hard supporters of late Abiola are bigots. |

[quote author=TheFreeOne post=46703122]Like Rufai like Aregbesola. Bigots creating religion tensions as if it's end time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was banned for posting a topic by Vanguard on a mandamus order for osun governor to make available his state debt profile. Moderator can we have a chat on why the topic was deleted too or are discussions on 'onigbese' being censored on Nairaland? Repost it jor.. or post it as a comment |
Amosu who married a Christian though the woman later converted to Islam... I still don't know why a Christian sister w marry a Muslim. Very Ridiculous and shameful. |
Since we all agreed that Nigeria is a Secular State, i think having Sharia law in the constitution is an insult to our sensitivity. Our constitution must reflect our true nature, which is "Secularism". What do you think? |
Hijab is never a problem in developed countries. Gay marriage is never a problem in developed countries also...... |
Ogbeni is very bias, very stupid of him.... Istandwithcan |
Baba North, i know the next IG will come from North |
Schools in Osun State should be classified in two
1)Christian Schools
2)Muslim schools....... Wearing Hijab in Christian Schools is an insult to their faith. |
I'm very sure this will snowball into real crisis, Aregbesola is a stupid man and a bastard.. He's promoting one religion over the other.... Idiot |
