kropotkin2: This is an unhealthy development for our democracy. We need a strong and vibrant opposition to the ruling party and this defection if true, weakens the only threat to APC's hold on power. Divided government always enriches the polity and keeps the party in power on their toes knowing that they can be booted out by the electorate at any time. PDP politicians should remain where they are and rebuild their party PDP not built to do such |

airminem: I am a stay at home mom, for now. I was laid off from a teaching job while pregnant and decided to use this time to care for our 8months son. In the beginning there was never an issue with one persons money being his or hers it was always ours.
Now after a year and a half anything I spend becomes an issue. When we talk about money he talks about working his a.s.s off, having nothing to show for it, because I'm spending HIS money.
Surprisingly, I don't even shop. Every once in a while I may purchase something for the home or something our kid need. I'm almost tempted to go on back to work, but I would like to stay out one more year until our son is of preschool age. I don't know if I will be able to make it that long.
It just seems like when you become a stay at home mom and don't earn an income you become less than, not equal, and nothing is truly yours because you didn't earn it. Just because we are at home doesn't mean we don't work, we just don't get paid for it. mention the thing you bought that caused fight. Confess. What is the little thing you bought for the house. |

seunmsg: It makes no danm sense. The CBN governor can as well loot the entire foreign reserve and start an industry with the loot, right? If we legalise corruption today, only the elites who are in public office will benefit. They will loot your future and that of your children today. In the next few years, the country will be so broke that there will be nothing left again to steal.
Fighting corruption is never going to be easy but we have no alternative than to continue battling the scourge. That Buhari failed a major test in the fight against corruption by clearing Babachir Lawal doesn't mean we should then legalise corruption. Nigerians must realise that the war on corruption is one that must be won in the long run. corruption will fight back and win. Is it not better to give amnesty to 300 billion stolen dollars to come and be invested in power factories rail and mass housing providing job for engineers plumbers drivers carpenters and suppliers. We all want to see them in jail but that's not happening not with western govt also interested in keeping these monies in their economies |

sinistermind: Yes the right candidate to beat PDP but was he the right candidate to take Nigeria to soaring heights? But we all definitely knows the answer. The plan was just to get PDP out of power and nothing more after that. baby steps Baby steps Stop trying to fly without crawling first |
Politics › Re: Buhari Was The Right Candidate To Beat PDP — TINUBU by mikolo80: 5:33am On Jan 28, 2017 |
Chiefpriest1: Buhari would only have been the right candidate if he improved on the condition of living of Nigerians.
A woman is not right just because she got married to a man, but because she got married to a good man.
Of what use is the rightness of defeating PDP to Nigerians when APC has proven to be worse.
I like Tinubu for his uncanny ability to spot talent that have become his rock since joining politics, but for now , there's nothing to celebrate about Buhari's presidency.
I don't know about tomorrow... all you have to do is make a god bleed Now everyone knows that federal might and incumbency is not enough to win election |

Blue3k: Listen dude there's no messiah coming to save the country for its self inflicted stupidity. Either the people with skin in the game make changes or nothing changes. For the reforms there are already Southern politicians calling for a few I mentioned. SW states apparently if the elder politician is someone to go by. If the citizens dont actually care then there's nothing to cry about. The sgovernment can only act foolishly for so long till they are booted out of power. look dude, no Messiah, no development, trust me we need a 'leader ' to coalesce behind. Otherwise we will continue speaking queens English and nothing will happen. Who will come 'them ' out. Blue3k: Becoming a regional economic power in economics. Firstly we power our neighbors with natural gas, industrialize 1st and exploit comparative advantage in grain production.
Improve infastrure being roads and rail. Do a better job strengthing transport intra african trade.
Then domesticly usual reforms people want. Take land and mineral rights out of exclusive domain of federal government and go towards individuals. Increase ease of doing business. Decentralize federal government in daily activity. End allocation system forcing states to compete. No more sharing system.
Get government out of business. Abolished state of origin for state residence. We don't need ethnic states but simply states. who is this we that you keep referring to. How do we become signal economic power, who will implement, who will improve the infra, who will reform land and mineral rights, decentralise govt, end allocation, get govt out of business, force states to compete,......... HeavenShield: I am greatly motivated at this..imagine a sea of protesters and no one in US injured as a result..America is a country indeed. Then Imagine only 100ppl in Nigeria protesting..then you have heard 10 killed by angry and STUPID police ppl as if it concern them more than the politicians. Imagine if we as a nation protests against evil policies of Govt then how sweet it would be, the Govt would be overturning many wicked policies. I wonder if it is not possible in NIGERIA! Well as i keep saying..MANY OF OUR POLITICIANS HAVE NO BUSINESS IN GOVERNANCE cos many of them are BRAINLESS. they fought and died and still fight and die for this right a long time ago. Are any of us willing to fight or die for anything in Nigeria except money. |

Trump is not the type of man to resign. he is not the city people's choice clearly. But what about rural ppl who make up the MAJORITY. THIS IS A DEMOCRACY NOT LIKEOCRACY .why dem no gada like dis on election day. Mumu ppl. Votes matter not jobless protesters |
