I think if this your calculation or assumption is right many States won't have been indebted by now, and shouldn't have been waiting for the statutory allocation which is more than 90% based on oil from the FG.

they cannot but be indebted cos governors are just hiring party members that we cannot afford to pay. 50% of poverty is still poverty. what is our GDP. divide it by 160 million and see that we can barely afford to feed ourselves (Agric). don't be deceived if you are middle class majority of our ppl in the villages are not enjoying the scanty amenities you are (light roads water schools hospital etc)

For your information the level of development in the Niger delta now was done by the people through their governors not through the federal government. If you have been to the niger delta before the advent of OBJ civillian regime and then you go there now, then you would know that the governors in those region have tried, would you talk about akwaibom, cross river,rivers state,edo state,Ondo and even bayelsa that had no road after years of fending for the nation.
I am not saying they have done superbly but they have brought life to their people at least when you start counting fast developing states in nigeria before you count one single state in the north you would have counted at least 3 from the niger delta

well all I know is 100 naira was allocated and I can only see work of 1 to 10 naira. but the money was allocated same as every other state plus nddc and these ppl blowing shht up will be settled and zero development will come to those not ready to fight for their share. last time 26,000 militants were settled, apart from the ogas that got billions. what about the other 10 to 20 million SSers, who will fight for them
