Fact remains that sales on rice and tomatoes have equally dropped. It doesn't mean people stopped eating, they simply changed their taste - from fresh tomatoes to pepper and onions; from parboiled rice to garri; from air conditioned SUV to keke; from kerosene to bamboo sticks and charcoal.

I do not think the new transition is worth celebrating. Reduction in PMS sales is not good for anyone. It is bad market to the CEO of gas stations, to the people, and to the government.

What I am trying to point out in essence is that the leaders should rather improve Nigeria by upgrading our rotten health and educational sector. The money they spend abroad if spent in Nigeria is enough to make our naira very strong.

Our past and present Leaders are failure! It's pathetic they all have fanatics that are ready to die for them and even defend them blindly. Despite Nigeria's wealth,intelligence and all, we still don't have world class hospitals that our Leaders would be confident enough to get treated there. Also the educational sector is in shamble that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than to find the progeny of any prominent Nigerian in our higher institutions.

Like I said earlier its a waste if time argueing with you. You are just dancing from one place to the other. We are talking of basic education. Primary and secondary. It is freee in many developed countries. An educated citizenry makes it easier to manage. And that is the matter on ground here.

Tertiary education is another matter. In some countries it is free for citizens. Like sweden and denmark .In USA there are thousands of scholarship and work study options and loan programs available to cushion the cost of tution.
