A member of the House of Representatives, Mohammed Gudaji Kazaure, has accidentally shot himself on the foot while fidgeting with his pistol.
Hon. Kazaure gained national acclaim when footages of his presentations on the floor of the House and interviews went viral on social media.
Daily Nigerian reliably gathered that the accidental discharge occurred a few days ago in his Kano residence when his cocked pistol accidentally went off and hit his foot.
A source close to the lawmaker told our correspondent that the bullet damaged Hon. Kazaure’s three toes, and were removed at an Abuja hospital.
Hon. Kazaure is currently receiving medical attention in Dubai, UAE.

Financial slump: Port one, get one free, sex workers beg customers in Calabar

CALABAR – THE economic recession has struck the sex market in Paradise City, Calabar, capital of Cross River State, forcing working girls to slash their charges to an all-time low of N400 per insertion and N1, 500 – N2, 000 per night for home service due to diminishing patronage.

An operator of one of the hot red light zones in the city, Madam Becky (not real name), who spoke in Pidgin English, told Niger Delta Voice since February, the girls have been complaining of “bad market.”

“Why you dey ask me all this kind JAMB question sef, u sure say u no be police? Na because you buy me drinks, wetin I fit tell be say Buhari government no favour us at all, if na before, u no go see girl plenty like that for here, except say Ekelebe people dey disturb. According to her, “We just dey manage to survive, wetin man pikin go do, people no dey patronize us like before again, de only hope wey we get some time na some of our regular customers and during some weekends and holidays, but we nor get choice than to reduce wetin we dey charge before.” she asserted.

The intent of this thread isn't about showing off impressive ntel download speed, but to show others how devices performance may vary from one another, even those with the same LTE speed specification.

I have both a BlackBerry Q10 SQN 100-3 variant and Nokia Lumia 1320, and though, they both support LTE download of up to 100Mbps and 50Mbps upload speed, the Nokia Lumia 1320 seems to perform way better than the BB Q10.

The best download speed i have achieved on the Q10 is 33Mbps, and 6Mbps upload, While the best download i have gotten on the Lumia 1320 is 50Mbps, and 36Mbps upload. In fact, the average download speed on my Lumia is 40Mbps. Mind you, i have made extensive tests for the past 11 days, both at home and away from home. I'm particularly very impressed with the upload speed of the Lumia, and in turn, ntel.

I believe that the low download speed of 50Mbps is due to device performance. Clearly, you can see that in difference between the Q10 and Lumia 1320. Also, we have seen faster ntel download speeds from a couple of other Nairalanders. So, by uploading your ntel download speed test and stating your device, others may be encouraged to get your kind of device in order to get the best out of ntel's LTE network.
