Jodera: I hate it when people undermine other people's achievement & success. I posted those things because an ignorant fellow asked about Mane's whereabouts when we were losing consecutively at home in 2021 when I never said that we are dip in form now due to his departure. I don't know why these ignorant people keep pushing me to talk about him cos nobody can point to a post where I postulated that our poor performance this season is down to the departure of Mane. I have deliberately avoided it even when other people mentioned it. I ask again since this new season commenced, how many times have you seen me talk about Mane? |

They will always say terrible things about the Liverpool legend to rubbish is great time at Liverpool but they won't tell you about the great feats he accomplished at the club. This goes to show how biased and ungrateful they are. The season we lost 6 games consecutively at Anfield, they won't tell you that prior to that, we had gone 68 games unbeaten. We were the league's defending champions after topping the table with 99 points, 18 points ahead of Man City and despite going 22 points behind Man City that year we still managed to finish 3rd, cutting it to 17 points adrift of the champions and finishing ahead of Chelsea who won the champions league that year. Is it not a great feat if we finish above champions league winners in the league this season? But people are making nonsense of it because of how bias and ungrateful they are to their own African brother. What a shame! Nobody in Liverpool history has scored more goals in Champions League knockout ties than he has. No other African player has achieved that. He has 15 in total. They won't tell you that. Four times in the last five years, Mane reached 20 goals in all competitions. Nobody knows. He has the fastest hayrick in the Premier League. It is inconsequential. Liverpool's record scorer away from home in the Champions league. Holds the Premier League record for the first player to score in nine consecutive league games against the same opponent. Just only the second player to score away hatrick in CL. It's not good enough. Last season we almost won all the competitions we entered, winning the FA CUP & LEAGUE CUP while narrowly missing out on the league and Champions league after it went down to the wire. If other players had given it all just like he does we could have probably been champions league and league winners! You won't hear all these but when we lose 6 home matches consecutively, they will blame Mane forgetting that we still rallied to finish 3rd above Champions league winners. They can do their best to rubbish the king but the fact remains that he's a legend at the club. Nobody can take that away from him. Let that sink in. |

How can any smart analyst look at this team and claim they can win the league title? How do you give what you done have. Is Klopp now a magician? |

What an elder sees while sitting, a child can not see it from the top of Iroko. Shebi when I was spitting the truth here. They were attacking me, Calling me names, saying that I'm not a true fan. I'm pessimistic etc. Now how far? Something I saw in our first pre season match against this same Man Utd na now some of una dey see am. They say it was pre season, nobody takes pre season matches serious, they were trying to avoid injuries and test fitness but at the end of the day injuries aplenty and fitness is nowhere to be found. But . . . What is the cause of the loss now, what excuse do we give this time around. Abi the player's thought we are still in pre season No cause for alarm sha, it's just 3 games into the season, let's keep being optimistic we will win the league. Let's keep the hope alive, it's just 2 wins and 1 draw & we will be on level terms with Arsenal. |

Jodera: He just refused to set up the midfield to be offensive since the departure of Coutinho for reasons best known to him. Creating goals from midfield should not be overlooked, it's an issue Klopp should look at cos there are times when opposition teams prevent us from scoring from the wide areas like in the three finals we played last season and scored 0 goals. 1 Like 1 Share |

Exxxgeee: Someone is seeing the light. Let's be realistic, this team needs a creative midfielder. Going forward if anything happens to our wing play we will start struggling, no creativity down the middle. It's time for us to inject creativity from the middle of the pack. Why Klopp no like creative midfielders? |

Jodera: You said 4 points is nothing, that a win and a draw will cover it. You are saying it as if it's that easy. If we are to win the league this season, we will have to HOPE that we don't drop points again and also HOPE that City drop points. Is that what champions do? We will drop points and they will drop points, so how do we cover the 4 points? So let's now hope they drop more points than us. Abi you go help us make dem drop points? See why I said you are giving these fans empty hope. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool FC Fan Zone: Champions of England by mikuz(m): 3:03pm On Aug 19, 2022 |
Jodera: My bad, it's an oversight. That's not what I actually meant. I'm predicting that Man City will win this league again convincly not because of past glory but with what is obtainable now. I made reference to their past achievement in the league to drive home the postulation that being good at beating minnows is the key for a successful campaign. You seldom see them struggling to beat underdogs and whenever they meet it's always from 4 goals up. They hardly lose to teams they are technically better than. We can't go toe to toe with Man City this season. It's a bitter pill to swallow for Liverpool fans but it's the truth. We don't have a creative midfielder, Thiago is injured, any decent team will stroll over our midfield as it stands, our new strike partnership needs time to gel whilst City are parading the best striker in the world arguably and ultimately the best creative midfielder in the league. They have world class in every department. With all these in mind, plus other injuries, someone is telling me that we will win the league this season because I'm a Liverpool fan. No be me una go give HIGH BP. |

Minemrys: Reason am na. If you an employer for example, will you recruit a person who lambastes his former employer with reckless abandon? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool FC Fan Zone: Champions of England by mikuz(m): 7:00am On Aug 19, 2022 |
Jodera: Firstly, we have not mounted a decent challenge in the league while struggling to beat under dogs in our first two games before. Secondly, dropping 4 points is massive. A team expecting to win the league cannot be seen dragging one point with minnows. Why do you think Man City are favourites to win it this year after winning it 4/5? They are consistent in beating underdogs well and convincingly. Thirdly, aside injuries, four points is massive. 2 games to the season we have already started playing catch up. This is not the make of a champion. A champion wins all his games esp. against minnows and expect his rivals to slip and not sleeping against Fulham and Crystal Palace and expect Tottenham to beat Man City and do the work for you while at the same time you are hoping to play unbeaten. What happened to getting off to a flying start? We are struggling against teams we are supposed to be using to build confidence and points and people are expecting Klopp to perform magic. Make una no worry Tottenham Hotspur will beat Man City and Arsenal will draw them so we can be level on points and play unbeaten to lift the trophy. This I have seen |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool FC Fan Zone: Champions of England by mikuz(m): 6:33am On Aug 19, 2022 |
Minemrys: Why shouldn't he give a shit about the club? So Mane should stop talking to his former teammates because? It's very rare because a person who disses his former employer is imprudent and careless. I'm a chartered accountant for instance if I leave my current employment because I want a bigger pay, I won't say it even if it's true. Then during during interview I tell my prospective employers that my current company is underpaying me that's why I want to leave. This would cast doubts as to whether I'm really chartered accountant because that's against my professional code of conduct and I'm supposed to exhibit high moral standards. I'm going to actually lose the interview! It's a shot in the foot. So see Mane as that chartered accountant who has a high moral compass and can't go against his code of conduct. |

Jodera: No offense taken but I didn't say that making top four is over achievement. My expectations this season is top four finish in the league. A decent title challenge by us will be seen as a bonus. Don't misquote me bros. I'm not your everyday football fan, I don't speak with sentiments about the club because I'm a fan. Not me. I don't built hope on past glory but present circumstances. Go and check if there was anytime last season I ruled is out of the league? The big question is, what changed? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool FC Fan Zone: Champions of England by mikuz(m): 6:06am On Aug 19, 2022 |
Jodera: Every single point is very material. So it's only Man City that is allowed to drop points in the course of the season? Liverpool won't drop points along the way while trying to close the 4 points? So Liverpool will play unbeaten but Man City won't. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool FC Fan Zone: Champions of England by mikuz(m): 6:55pm On Aug 18, 2022 |
openmine: Losing to Tottenham 1 0 and beating Norwich 5 0 is not the same as playing out draws against Fulham & Crystal Palace. That been said, we couldn't win the league last season we were firing from all cylinders from the get go, is it this season that we are dropping points against Fulham and Crystal Palace in our first two matches coupled with injuries here and there that we ll win the league? How can you look at this team and have unrealistic expectations and be optimistic that we ll clinch the title? During pre season you said result don't matter, 2 matches into the season you are saying that the first 5 matches don't matter, who knows after season end you will tell us that the 38 matches don't matter too. I wonder what you see in this team that is giving you and Jodera confidence that we are going to mount a title challenge. Injuries apart and the fact that we are yet to buy any notable reinforcement in midfield, any good analyst can see that we can't mount a decent title challenge this season all things being equal. You can call me a Mane Stan or a Liverpool mocker it won't stop me from being realistic. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool FC Fan Zone: Champions of England by mikuz(m): 2:57pm On Aug 18, 2022 |

openmine:Man City last season after the first 3 games: Lost 1 0 to Tottenham Beat Norwich 5 0 Beat Arsenal 5 0 How did they open last season with 2 losses after 3 games? After 3 matches they were on 6 points with 9 goals difference. Even if we beat Man Utd 8 0 will still won't equal their feat after 3 games. See as Jodera's empty hopes dey make you lie anyhow. Keep it up, I'll be here during the gnashing of teeth by season end. |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool FC Fan Zone: Champions of England by mikuz(m): 2:02pm On Aug 18, 2022 |
Jodera: You are being unrealistic. What I'm telling you right now is whats obtainable. I am not setting high standard for this team this season, I'm will be satisfied if we finish top four anything beyond that is a bonus. The only time I'll be disappointed is when we finish outside top four. Raising the bar above that is living by faith and building castles the air. That's my expectations this season for me, you can continue giving other Liverpool fans empty hope but tell them say you no see me. We had a better attack & defence last season compared to what we have now and Man City is better this season in contrast to last season but you think we will beat them to the league. I'm not being pessimistic, I'm facing reality while you are dreaming but you will never accept it. I told you our team last season is stronger than this current team yet we didn't win the league. How you expect us to win it a weaker team that is bedeviled with injuries is beyond me. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool FC Fan Zone: Champions of England by mikuz(m): 9:12pm On Aug 17, 2022 |
Jodera: So our own is to be challenging Man City every season, playing second fiddle everyday and not actually winning the league? Our own is to "compete" by season end they will award Man City the league and give us competing trophy. A club that finished 2nd is in the same level with one that placed 4th position, no difference unless you want to tell me that there is a trophy for 2nd position Which 13 points? After the first 2 games last season Liverpool were topping Man City with 3 points, Man City caught up and overtook them with 13 points! So talk another thing cos this your excuse no fly. Don't get me started with injuries, the same injuries our in house analyst claimed was the reason we lost to Man Utd in pre season? It's not about trusting Klopp but about being realistic. You can't compare a front 3 that broke a record last season to what we have now. Let's tell ourselves the truth. You mean you see Nunez and Diaz scoring more than 10 league goals each? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Liverpool FC Fan Zone: Champions of England by mikuz(m): 4:48pm On Aug 17, 2022 |
Jodera: After 2 matches last season we won 2 in 2 scoring 5 and conceding none with our front 3 scoring more than 10 goals each which is a record in that league season as a whole and we still did not win the league. This season we are struggling against low table teams scoring 3 and conceding 3. If you think this team will outperform Man City or their last league performance then you are dreaming. |
