Jodera: It's based on the performance not based on the result.
It doesn't matter whether they lost the 4-0 to arsenal or Nottingham forest, the issue is that they played poorly.
Lol, Please don't try to deviate from our initial discussion. You were angry "solely" because you guys lost 4-0 to a rival, man u which you said it was unacceptable. You never minded whether the performance was good or not. While we in turn told you not to look at the scoreline that no-one takes a preseason result serious.. not even the players nor coach
I hope we should understand our initial premise and not twist it into saying the I meant the performance is useless Chelsea's poor performance was due to unseriousness. Chelsea don't take pre season matches serious. On a very good day, this Arsenal team cannot beat Chelsea by 4 unreplied goals if Chelsea decide to take the match serious. There is no way Chelsea will lose by that margin if they were serious. So since its pre season and it's won't affect the league season proper they decided to not take the match serious, this unseriousness led to poor performance which in turn led to losing massively. There is no way Chelsea who were not serious would beat Arsenal who took the match serious. The best result unserious Chelsea can get against a serious Arsenal is a draw. Nobody should criticize Chelsea's performance because they were not serious with the match. |

Minemrys: Am saying some tweaks can be made to see how improvements can be made to surprise opponents. Under Guardiola, Trent will be playing 2 positions now. Tweaks should be made to improve the team's overall performance and not to diminish it. Trent is the best player in Liverpool for RB position while Fab and Hendo are the best people for DM. There is no need for us to tweak anything as far as I'm concerned bros. |

Jodera: Maybe you can rephrase your question better, I didn't really get what you asked here Why should Chelsea fans be complaining about a pre season match their players did not take seriously |

Minemrys: I hope you know RB isn't his natural position. Or that Fabinho is a natural Right Back. Does it matter, provided that they are doing there jobs excellently well in their current positions, why change the status quo? |

Jodera: Lol, I didn't say anyone shouldn't complain. Our point is that no one should take it serious especially, you wey carry am say as per derby you guys shouldn't have lost 4-0.
Check out our this thread, while we are happy that we won 4-0, nobody is going overboard that we dealt with Chelsea our rival. All we're just happy is the performance itself and how the players are gelling and improved. It doesn't matter whether it was Everton or Chelsea or Burnley. If this same performance and result happens when season starts, you'll see the marked difference in our celebration.
And that's exact same thing I'm saying. You guys used small boys against Man u, who started their first 11 but you were complaining that klopp shouldn't have lost that because it's a rival match.
In a nutshell In preseason... Performance and fitness matters and not result
In the main season... Results (most importantly) and performances matters In a nutshell, I can complain about a match that the player's didn't take seriously and had no impact on the season proper? |

Minemrys: It was a mistake selling Neco Williams. I still don't know why Trent isn't playing DM yet. Cause this season would have been a perfect season to do that. I don't know if Gomez or Matip can play there. Would be interesting lol. Trent playing defensive midfield is suicide mission. The only two persons who can hold that spot down for us are Fabinho and Henderson. |

Jodera: Check most cries from Chelsea fans, nobody is crying about losing 4-0 to arsenal because it's a Derby. What they're concerned about is that the issue concerning their attack they faced last season is still rearing its ugly head again as it hasn't been fixed.
Preseason is to set your team in terms of fitness and performances. You think if this result and play happened this season we arsenal fans won't be 5x joyful more than this or Chelsea fan won't insult Tuchel more than this?
Show me at least two Chelsea fan in Chelsea that's ranting that they lost the game 4-0 to Arsenal as a Derby rival and I'll apologize to you immediately The bone of contention is not the reason for the complaints but the complaints itself. You said that on no occasion should anyone complain about preseason performance since the players don't take it serious and has no impact on the season proper. Some where even calling for the manager's sack over a pre season match the player's didn't take seriously. |

Jodera: Their performance this preseason have been poor not just against arsenal. You notice how nobody is talking about the 4-0. What they're just being concerned is their lack of firepower You told us that pre season matches are useless but you see that nobody likes his team losing massively whether pre season or not let alone a big rival. |

CAPdan21: Fabio is one for the future and frankly from what I've seen, he's gonna be big no cap...Hendo can play there and from what I saw last season he's more suitable at that position now cuz he frankly doesn't have the legs to play CM again.. I could have still fancied another natural DM in that midfield. Hendo plays optimally when he's deployed as a CM. Nothing beats playing in your natural position. Fabinho as DM and Hendo as CM is always a joy to watch, he hardly puts a foot wrong bro. |

Minemrys: Our pattern of play does not allow for holding on to the ball for long. We are a high pressing team, once you get the ball, you move quick by identifying a pass. You are asking which mistakes, against Man City in 2020/21 season, he held on to the ball too much and was dispossessed. City ended up scoring from that. He did same thing very often that season which lost us points. The guy is a good player but dude needs to actually play the tactics. He is deployed as an 8 but tries to play as a number 10 by getting into tight corners and trying to dribble. The problem is we play a high line and if we get dispossessed, voila a counter attack against us. You are spot on my bro. We have the quickest transition from defence to attack in the EPL but it's not always attack attack attack, there are times when you need to sit back and suck up pressure that's where he comes in and he's been doing that excellently well except for the few cases you pointed out which is pardonable seeing that no player is immune to mistakes. He's already playing the tactics - ball retainer. He's role's is limited. He's not been given the freedom to go beyond that like Countinho. |

Minemrys: He keeps repeating the same mistakes too often. Holds the ball too long and losses possession as a result. I prefer him on the wings. He's ok for me. Which mistakes? Are you not being harsh on him? Seeing that he's been deployed to play as ball retainer and not given enough freedom and opportunity to express himself with the ball. |

This is from a reputable magazine in UK. Only a simpleton will remain at a club who treated him this way.

alekside: Bro, as a long time supporter of LFC, you should know you will have your heart broken if you get yourself too attached to a player. At least you should have learnt from Torres, Suarez, Sterling etc.
We support the team first before any player. Players will be signed and sold but the club will always be there. I support the team first doesn't mean I won't nitpick them when they mistreat a player. Same way I go treat Mane if he efff up. I no dey look face. I have love for Torres than Mane for example, but can you see me attacking Liverpool because they let Torres go? No There is a reason I'm tackling them due to Mane's departure and you see all these people supporting Liverpool board for how they treated Mane, I pray they get served with a similar treatment. |
