tunlapapa: This is for those who did basic studies programme in Uniprort, it can be used as a second certificate. I have a basic certificate and bsc from uniport. Will I evaluate both? Also is basic certificate same as post-secondary certificate for CRS? Thanks for your response |

Brunobia: I think it's best to apply as Married but click Spouse not accompanying. You get graded as a single person, get more points for your CRS scores. Then if you make ITA whenever they resume FSW draws, you fill that spouse is not accompanying as you are separated and going through a divorce now. If you have already filed in courts by then, upload the document as proof. Okay thank you |

Hi everyone
Please I need some advice. I'm currently going through a divorce but I'd want to apply for Canada PR. I have my IELTS and ECA ready. Do I enter a pool as married or separated (I don't have any document to support separated)? Considering the legal system here the divorce might take the whole of next year
Also, if I apply as separated, and my divorce gets finalize after I apply as separated, what do I do in this case? |

david290: You'll present the new. Keep the old copy to yourself. Immigration already has it in their record, and it's what you'd see when you log into your portal. And yes the ID and Ref number will differ but the ID and the Ref number of the old application is the valid one as it is the one linked to payment. During Capturing you'll be asked to confirm place of birth alongside other details. As far as you supply the updated place of birth, you should be fine. Oh okay... Thankfully it can be sorted out. Thank you |

david290: I'll advice you do a new application to forestall any delay. You don't have to pay. The new application is only to correct the place of birth, and is for the purpose of filing. Of course the new application comes with a different ID and Ref number--but the old application, the one linked to payment, is the one Immigration recognizes, and as such the one you should always refer to. Oh thank you. To be clear, I should take the new application along with the old one but file the new one and give the old one to immigration right? Since the ID and Ref number is different won't it be an issue? |

david290: It caused a delay during my Capturing. Niger instead of Minna. I just located a nearby cafe where I initiated a new application process (seeing as the old application can't be adjusted) to reflect the changes. Thanks for responding. Do u advise I do a new application process? Does this mean I'll pay another fee for application? |

TheLasyBuddha: Do it yourself. Make all the necessary payments online. Since it isn't urgent, don't spend that much. Thank you for your prompt response. I'd also like to know if I can go with photocopies of my husband's passport data page and photocopies of his local government certificate instead of the originals as I'd also want to do passport for my child. Thank you |

Hi,
I want to do a fresh international passport but the immigration officer I met here in port Harcourt is charging me 45k. If I do it myself online would I be attended to at the office and will it slow down the processing time?
Your responses will be greatly appreciated |
