Your friend said Iran sent weapons to Shiites in Nigeria around 2015/16. I asked for evidence and you jump in to show me reports from 2010/11 about Iran shipping weapons to Lagos.

A quick history: My dad bought two newspapers everyday from the 90s until the 2010s, so I followed the news about the weapon shipment at the time. It was a big deal here in Nigeria. But there was zero claims that it was destined for the Shiites or even anyone else in Nigeria.
Omo, e be like the blocking of a thing no dey last long. Cos why I am seeing gazebo's postings. The only person I have ever blocked on NL.

Even the link the stupid fellow shared agreed with your sentiments. The weapons were transiting through Nigeria due to a UN arms embargo on Iran. Countries have been known to do this to bypass sanctions. Even Nigeria did it in South Africa (2014) after the foolish Obama sanctioned us while we were dealing with Boko Haram at its strongest.

And please stop replying to all light abi na all darkness. That one's MO is to spread outright falsehood.

The only good news is that the war is back on.

The bad news is that Iran doesn't always seem to learn lessons that these people cannot be negotiated with. Their negotiations is always a ruse to make you relaxed so they can plan a surprise attack.

Ladies and Gentlemen, We have a TACO
I don't even know how to express how funny this is.

Trump gives a deadline to Iran. Iran refuses to open the strait. Trump announced a ceasefire agreement is reached with Pakistan subject to Iran opening the strait. So basically means Iran still didn't agree to open the strait yet.

What's even funnier is that the man says all military objectives have been met and exceeded. Obedience40, please come and educate us on what military objectives were met in this case.

First of all Trump is a show man!!! All this are mere rhetorics!!!.

Have you tried to listen through a parliamentary session in Iran!! You will be surprised at the kind of words they use there against the USA and Israel

Every time the communists party in china holds her convention..they always say the reunification of the Taiwan peninsula is certain either peacefully or by force!! That's simply telling the people of Taiwan that either you join us peacefully or will are going to force you which means destruction and war!!

Trump went extreme but there's no way he is going to use nukes!!!
Let's wait and see. Hopefully you won't be here to gaslight us when he does use nukes as he cannot win conventionally. I don't even know what the US objectives is for now as everyone keeps going off about the Strait which was open before they launched their aggression.

You cannot bomb a country into regime change, Iran has proven that. The Shah and his minions have also been rejected by Iranian people.

Please stop comparing Taiwan and China with Iran and USA. One is more like a civil war, the other is basically trying to steal another country's resources and stop their growth.

She can never be his daughter. A DNA evidence will corroborate this statement. like poles repel, while unlike poles attract . In a family, whenever you hear that siblings of opposite sex are sleeping with each other, it's either one of them, or even both are not of same father. Has anyone seen where a lion lives with leopard or tiger offsprings? Has anyone seen where a hen allows the chicks hatched by another hen to follow her about? She must chase it away.
But the post is clear that he is not the father.

He adopted her from a motherless baby home under the guise of guardianship to abuse her.

Someone should do a poll on nairaland.

1. Trump will use nuke
2. Trump will extend the deadline
3. Trump will grow some balls and invade

I would have added a 4th, Iran will accept US proposal but we know that's impossible as at now.

Never knew human life had a price!!! I would rather support a USA that's willing to undertake a complex, challenging and risky operation to save one pilot life than supports a Iran who cannot even protect her number one citizen

One hundred million for the life of a pilot is a good bargain!! I know this type of reasonings will seems strange to our jihad brothers..

Bro I would rather spend one hundred million and be alive..than spend nothing and V
What about the ordinary commuters the US blew up along with the B1 bridge. What's the price for their life?

Also, what do you think the life of each Minab school girl is worth? How much do you think their parents would rather spend to keep each of their daughters alive?

I'm sure the Iranians will be crying tears of joy now. The freedom fighters are coming to grant them freedom by blowing up their bridges along with any fortunate civilian close by, their electricity plants, and their water facilities. What more freedom could they ask for.

Very soon, we'll have a new batch of dancing Iranians thanking Trump and their supporters for granting them freedom.

FREEDOM TO ALL IRANIANS grin

The president you are seeing the vice President you are seeing

The most successful man that you are seeing is there because of the woman he marries

Some men are wise meh

They have figure the path and that’s it

Tinubu, Otedola etc
Rubbish talks.

The killers, rapists, murderers and poor men have wives. Should we also say they are what they are now because of the women they married or listened to.

Woman is said to be wise but cannot use her own supposed wisdom to be successful. They only want to claim credits for the successful ones but don't claim credit for the unsuccessful ones.

Fun fact, of the top 20 women on the forbes list, only two are described as self-made, which is the even funny as the businesses that supposedly made them successful is co-owned with a man. The rest 18 got theirs by fleecing other men, either through divorce, being widowed or family inheritance from a man's death

Bro Dont u think that US ability to rescue the one of the pilots despite it been inside iran is an indication that ground invasion might not be that difficult.
I'm definitely criticising Iran for not shooting down these planes inside Iran. Damaged but still able to fly out shows their airforce might not been that efficient. I expected them to have shot down these aircrafts and helicopters inside Iran. Would have done enough for them PR-wise and the negative for the US.

But rescuing a pilot is different from searching for one. The US knew where they were going to while Iran was searching blindly. Also there was probably a well-prepared rescue team on standby. Also, I don't think the pilot landed in a populated area as they were no reported sightings.

My guess is;

●The rescued pilot was able to quickly transmit his location.
●The US got in and moved the pilot out before Iran could even secure the area and begin a search.
● The search we are seeing is probably for the second pilot who may not have been able to transmit his location for whatever reasons.

In all, I'm disappointed in Iran. A plane which crashed outside of Iran or was destroyed but still able to fly out does not have the same effects like a downed plane. Was here expecting a Mogadishu embarassed

Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Mille: 4:00pm On Apr 03
One have so many hypothesis on who actually flew the F15 and whatever the crew knows. For them to consider such an audacious rescue mission.

I'm even starting to believe maybe the Iranian Airforce doesn't exist anymore as I haven't seen report of them scrambling fighter jets to these areas.

There are conflicting reports at the moment.

Many say it's at the border. The US will not risk more aircrafts inside Iran just to rescue one pilot.
They are inside Iran, which is a golden opportunity.

They should just say the pilots are still at large, so rescue missions can continue and provide ample time for Iran to target them. Nail-biting scenario. Make Iran no disappoint me.

Wars have changed.

Before it was ATGMs, Ambush attacks and RPGs that Hezbollah used against the invaders, now most of their videos are now majorly drone attacks. Less risks to their soldiers and more damage without physical presence.

No wonder there has been lots of helicopters flying in and out of Lebanon.
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Mille: 8:52am On Apr 03
My issue with Iran is still their announcements.

The US didn't announce to commuters and civilians before it authorised a strike on the B1 Bridge killing and injuring a lot of commuters. I expect Iran to have done the same before releasing their list of 8 bridges.

They must be willing to play those bullies at their games

Maybe you think Hezbollah is popular in Lebanon.

Many see Hezbollah for what it is a tool of Iran to attack Israel. The Iranian ambassador was even declared personal non grata. This would never had happened assuming Hezbollah were still strong.

Below is the logo of Hezbollah and the IRGC.

Iran itself has often boasted in the past that it has created a Axis of fire around Israel in preparation for the day they would liberate al quds ( Jerusalem)
I'm not understanding you and the correlation with Hezbollah.

The main duty of an army is to protect their country from external aggression. The first of that is to protect the national borders from invasion.
The LAF is not doing anything remotely close to such.

They control the border and when their country gets invaded, they withdraw. If the Israelis advance, they withdraw further. All these while the soldiers of the LAF are being killed themselves.

I don't think any army in history has ever been that useless. What then is the duty of the LAF?

The annoying thing is this mdf still won't do anything about it.
They will say they have ask the service chiefs to to move to plateau, they are investigating it. They will go there and take photos and continue their election campaign
You're going too far.

There will be nothing like even going there. At best, a statement on twitter or Facebook. That will be the end of it. I don't even understand how some Nigerians manage to live in Northern Nigeria freely. You can't even offer me a job that I'll accept over there.

I don't know when Nigerians will understand that these people do not give a F****

News flash there's a war being fought... civilians die... that's war.. it called collateral damage!!!

Civilians are dying in droves everyday in Ukraine courtesy of Putin... civilians had also died in israel... so deal with it man!!... spare us these emotional outbursts!!
But somehow, only the big bully and their Middle East branch are usually responsible for almost all mass casualty school bombings. Those two have killed more school children than all the terrorist organisations combined.

Btw, just reading on the Francesco Crispi primary school bombing. Another school that is a recipient of American generosity cool.

You don't need to be the best to escalate!!!.. A chicken with the right tools and motivation is all that's need.. Saudi Arabia fits the profile!!

Victory is a such a labyrinthine concept!!....Victory means different things to different people!!

What you called defeat is stalemate!! Saudi backed government forces still controls some parts of Yemen infact the Saudis controls the key oil and gas-producing areas in the northeast

While the Southern Transitional Council backed by the UAE Controls the largest shareof the territory

Am all all for escalation!! The question is are the Houthis ready for escalation??
Of course, I forgot the Saudis are useful idiots.

Dumb leaders who can't say no to their big daddy. I'm sure the Saudi citizens would like another 8 years of drones and missiles swarming their cities.

They should just help us get C. Ronaldo, Mane and many other top African footballers in Saudi league for the 💰 out first.

BTW, I agree it is a stalemate. But the president still couldn't live in the territories they controlled grin
