basilico:What will I not see on nairaland. Someone is trying to whitewash the Saudis. You definitely can't be doing this for free. The audacity to even share this nonsense ![]() 4. We know those who bombed embassies, hijacked planes and destroyed infrastructures, including the September 11 hijackers. Trying to whitewash Saudis who were notorious for bombing markets in Yemen to create famine. Even the baby killers dey learn for where Saudi dey. They bombed half of the hospitals in the country. 5. Even I feel Iran did not target the Gulf countries enough. If you're providing a platform where I'm being attacked from your country, you're a participant in the war. Iran didn't hit Saudi, UAE and their other partners well enough. 6. So the fear is basically having a strong neighbour. One person is allowed to be a world player, the other is not? 7. I'm sure the parents of the Minab girls would prefer having their girls in the mountains of Afghanistan than go to school on the day they United States Military came bearing gifts for the children ![]() 11. Motherfxckxer trying to sneak in the "security of allied nations". It basically showed that these countries do not consider you allies. Imagine Iran giving a day notice to hit facilities and still hitting them. But for Israel, almost about 5 layers of defense will be provided. Don't even try to bring any Saudi whitewash here, a country that created the world's worst humanitarian campaign. The Irony of Saudi Arabia complaining of naval blockades ![]()

WriteerNg:Useless president. I wonder how Lebanese citizens feel watching this coward and his military leaders talk. Zero fight. How does such a man even have the audacity to lead a country. All he ever does is direct the soldiers to withdraw, the citizens he is supposed to defend are then left bare to be killed and have their homes and infrastructure demolished. Useless president. I don't think there has even been a more cowardly president and military ever in History. |
This is definitely one of the most funny political things I have seen in politics. 🇭🇺 Hungary politicians dey move different. ![]()

shoodboi2:That one sef dey. Nigerians are a reflection of their government. The amount of treachery and anyhowness in the country is too much. |
SonOfWords:Why should I give the F about whoever is the incompetent government of the day? If Nigeria goes to war against whoever, I'm supporting Nigeria. Whoever is on the throne does not concern me as long as they are elected. |
Another Colonel was killed by Boko Haram in an ambush yesterday. Obviously, someone hinted Boko Haram above troops movement. I swear, I really hope Nigeria doesn't get into a war. Our situation will be worse than Lebanon. Lots of ready traitors who would sell and/or give information to the enemy. - You have the IPOB and Obidient faction who would support anything and anyone against the country. - The Muslim terrorist sympathisers in the North. - The Christian religious extremists who would support anything they feel is against Islam. - You have people like the underemployed lawyer who would sell anything and anyone for the faintest hope of a visa. - Then you have those who would sell the country for as little as 5k. Omo. |

Lawag3:You said after investigations but attached a 2010 link, which was at the genesis of the issue. Of course, at the start, different conspiracy theories will be floating around. You have mentioned three yourself. WA terrorists, Nigerian terrorists, and politicians. I have attached links of the conclusion of the case after investigation. Everyone, including the Nigerian government agreed it was going to Gambia. That is not in doubt. |
Scorpio99:Where is your source? This is the report of the final conviction and end of the investigation and trial. Where is your own judgement that said the destination was not Gambia? I don't know how many times you want IRGC and Iran to say it was destined for the Gambia. It has already passed through Lagos. If it was destined for Nigeria. They wouldn't try to export it out. No one is disputing it was an illegal arms shipment.
|
Lawag3:My brother, we might disagree but I don't post falsehood. The weapons were destined for the Gambia, who were also sanctioned at the time. The shipments was basically two sanctioned countries trying to evade sanctions. How did I know the weapons were just transiting? Because it was. All parties involved, including Nigeria knew it was. Nigeria was mandated to take actions because it's a UN sanction and we are part of the UN. We are talking 2010 here, not 2015 like all darkness posted. Fact is, the weapons were shipped to Lagos under false declarations.. They have already bypassed lagos customs and got to a warehouse in Lagos. They were caught after attempting to re-export it. We'll both agree that if they were destined for Nigeria, there will be no attempts to export it again. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2010/11/16/nigeria-reports-iran-arms-seizure https://www.cbsnews.com/news/nigeria-charges-iranian-in-arms-seizure/ So where did you see your investigations that concluded that the weapons were bound for terrorist groups in West Africa? I need to see your sources.
|
shoodboi2:Omo, e be like the blocking of a thing no dey last long. Cos why I am seeing gazebo's postings. The only person I have ever blocked on NL. Even the link the stupid fellow shared agreed with your sentiments. The weapons were transiting through Nigeria due to a UN arms embargo on Iran. Countries have been known to do this to bypass sanctions. Even Nigeria did it in South Africa (2014) after the foolish Obama sanctioned us while we were dealing with Boko Haram at its strongest. And please stop replying to all light abi na all darkness. That one's MO is to spread outright falsehood. |
The only good news is that the war is back on. The bad news is that Iran doesn't always seem to learn lessons that these people cannot be negotiated with. Their negotiations is always a ruse to make you relaxed so they can plan a surprise attack. |
Mille:I don't even know how to express how funny this is. Trump gives a deadline to Iran. Iran refuses to open the strait. Trump announced a ceasefire agreement is reached with Pakistan subject to Iran opening the strait. So basically means Iran still didn't agree to open the strait yet. What's even funnier is that the man says all military objectives have been met and exceeded. Obedience40, please come and educate us on what military objectives were met in this case. |
Not a new thing. Man is famous for that.

Ladies and Gentlemen, We have a TACO

WriteerNg:If una extend this thing, e no go better for everybody. From US, to Iran to Israel to Pakistan. There must be chaos o. Over 3 hours to go. |
Obedience40:Let's wait and see. Hopefully you won't be here to gaslight us when he does use nukes as he cannot win conventionally. I don't even know what the US objectives is for now as everyone keeps going off about the Strait which was open before they launched their aggression. You cannot bomb a country into regime change, Iran has proven that. The Shah and his minions have also been rejected by Iranian people. Please stop comparing Taiwan and China with Iran and USA. One is more like a civil war, the other is basically trying to steal another country's resources and stop their growth. |
Eriokanmi:But the post is clear that he is not the father. He adopted her from a motherless baby home under the guise of guardianship to abuse her. |
Righteousness2:I quoted this to reply this but deleted it as na waste of space. This one cannot see pass religion in whatever he does. Obedience40, what would be your comment if it was Putin or China that said that? Seun, fix your bot. I was banned for comparing the dumb Iranians to the dumb Nigerians who supported Burkina Faso when our soldiers were detained back in December. |
Someone should do a poll on nairaland. 1. Trump will use nuke 2. Trump will extend the deadline 3. Trump will grow some balls and invade I would have added a 4th, Iran will accept US proposal but we know that's impossible as at now. Abeg when is the 8pm ET in Nigeria? Let me buy popcorn and drinks |
shoodboi2:You get time dey answer that one. He no sabi twist anything small, na to propagate outright falsehood e sabi. Na only obedience get sense for their cohort. |
Obedience40:What about the ordinary commuters the US blew up along with the B1 bridge. What's the price for their life? Also, what do you think the life of each Minab school girl is worth? How much do you think their parents would rather spend to keep each of their daughters alive? |
Omo, Trump just said they armed the protesters in Iran then. Where is the guy blabbing all about Iran killing protesters and hanging someone who they said killed a policeman |
WriteerNg:I'm sure the Iranians will be crying tears of joy now. The freedom fighters are coming to grant them freedom by blowing up their bridges along with any fortunate civilian close by, their electricity plants, and their water facilities. What more freedom could they ask for. Very soon, we'll have a new batch of dancing Iranians thanking Trump and their supporters for granting them freedom. FREEDOM TO ALL IRANIANS ![]() |
Wordsfrombimpe:Rubbish talks. The killers, rapists, murderers and poor men have wives. Should we also say they are what they are now because of the women they married or listened to. Woman is said to be wise but cannot use her own supposed wisdom to be successful. They only want to claim credits for the successful ones but don't claim credit for the unsuccessful ones. Fun fact, of the top 20 women on the forbes list, only two are described as self-made, which is the even funny as the businesses that supposedly made them successful is co-owned with a man. The rest 18 got theirs by fleecing other men, either through divorce, being widowed or family inheritance from a man's death |
kad199:I'm definitely criticising Iran for not shooting down these planes inside Iran. Damaged but still able to fly out shows their airforce might not been that efficient. I expected them to have shot down these aircrafts and helicopters inside Iran. Would have done enough for them PR-wise and the negative for the US. But rescuing a pilot is different from searching for one. The US knew where they were going to while Iran was searching blindly. Also there was probably a well-prepared rescue team on standby. Also, I don't think the pilot landed in a populated area as they were no reported sightings. My guess is; ●The rescued pilot was able to quickly transmit his location. ●The US got in and moved the pilot out before Iran could even secure the area and begin a search. ● The search we are seeing is probably for the second pilot who may not have been able to transmit his location for whatever reasons. In all, I'm disappointed in Iran. A plane which crashed outside of Iran or was destroyed but still able to fly out does not have the same effects like a downed plane. Was here expecting a Mogadishu ![]()

One have so many hypothesis on who actually flew the F15 and whatever the crew knows. For them to consider such an audacious rescue mission. I'm even starting to believe maybe the Iranian Airforce doesn't exist anymore as I haven't seen report of them scrambling fighter jets to these areas. |
WriteerNg:They are inside Iran, which is a golden opportunity. They should just say the pilots are still at large, so rescue missions can continue and provide ample time for Iran to target them. Nail-biting scenario. Make Iran no disappoint me. |
Allthelight:Did you actually read what you quoted or do I have to start explaining it word by word. My God, I'll be so disappointed in Iran if they are unable to shoot something else down during this period. |
