Obedience40:E don reach level wey person dey even freely share what is supposed to be a war crime. Moving traffic, right in the middle of a busy road. You can already estimate the number of civilian casualties. Have some shame. |
Uprightness100:Goal-shifting does not work here. Admit you posted fake news, insist your news is accurate ,or GTFO ;D7 |
Jovi10:I swear wetin AI go cause for this world ehn. Nothing concerns me with Netanyahu but I'm amazed about how people have been able to create AI videos of other people using the same video and they look very real to me that I would have mistaken them for the real video. Politicians can now deny crimes they are caught on camera for by tagging it AI like our former NLC president and Governor. |
Mille:We went to the stadium chanting [their] name, saying if you want to stay here, we are going to support you," Orouji said. To be honest, before the first game, when we noticed the team is coming, a few people had connections with Home Affairs and with Tony Burke's office," Iranian-Australian Farhad Soheil told ABC News. cc; Basilico If you cannot see the early coordination and advance communication between these "activists" and Australian government officials, then there is nothing else to say. They even had a migration agent as a consultant .All these before the girls even arrived in Australia. Imagine the effects if they have successfully gotten a whole national team to defect. Ambitious move though. Thank God it's not Nigerians. We are not patriotic to that extent ![]() |
basilico:I hate that I have to start defending governments. Usually I am only ever interested in their foreign policies. Not denying that many governments including Iran are very guilty of many human rights abuses. But we'll stay focused on the female footballers here. First, maybe I didn't read it completely but I only saw one source. Two, the ABC reports was based mainly on reports from two individuals; Iranian-Australian Deniz Toupchi and Raha Pourbakhsh, "a sports journalist and presenter at Iran International TV (IITV), a London-based Persian-language news". I'll not go into details about the second individual as "Iran international" has explained itself. Who is Deniz Toupchi; ● Iranian that lives in Australia ● Led calls for Australia to expel Iranian Ambassador to Australia and designate IRGC as a terrorist organisation, including a 3 day hunger strike in 2022 ● The whole debacle had been planned before the girls even arrived in Australia for which the same Deniz Toupchi is a key planner. ● She was in the stands when the team played Australia and was among those who booed the national anthem, including unveiling the Lion and sun flag, instead of the country's official flag. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-03-15/iranian-australian-community-unite-iran-womens-football-asylum/106450314 https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-03-10/secret-operation-to-get-iranian-football-asylum-seekers-alone/106435620 https://leadership.ng/australia-urged-to-protect-iranian-football-team-after-asian-cup-elimination/ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c15x1928n48o Before the first game, when we noticed the team is coming, a few people had connections with Home Affairs and with Tony Burke's office Now read these four reports with a clear mind. The whole operation was clearly planned to embarrass the regime and designate Iran as an oppressive regime to give the war some legitimacy for Trump, Israel and the cohorts. Unfortunately, they failed when the girls later found out what they were being used for. Quoting Deniz Toupchi is like BBC using Nnamdi Kanu's reports for new articles about Nigeria. Now imagine an alternate scenario where something like this is planned for Nigerian female footballers. What do you think will be the rationale for our female football stars if such an opportunity is presented to them? Earn 200 dollars or earn 6000 dollars. I kuku know what my own choices |
basilico:Quoting Iran international news is like quoting news reports about Nigeria from Simon Ekpa's IPOB. Always a bunch of nonsense. I'm only quoting you cos I am of the opinion that you did this ignorant of the fact about what Iran international is, the owners and where "Iran" International is actually based. |
stanluiz:Israel and the US + its allies can have nuclear weapons but other countries cannot abi. No mention of freedom for Palestine but mentions the disbandment of Hamas Hezbollah is also a 'terrorist group' that should be disbanded but who will protect Lebanon then when the LAF is not permitted to own modern fighter jets, missiles and air defence. Kuku come out straight with your chest. The others should be as weak as possible so Israel and the US can do whatever the Bleep the like whenever they like. |
basilico:Lol. Tell me how the US suddenly admitted 140 were injured today after Reuters reported that 150 were injured. |
shoodboi2:That's always the MO. Criticise those who have decided to fight back, no criticism for those who started the fight. Anyway, e be like the killing of the Supreme leader na good thing. These new sets of leaders no wan hear anything. Assuming it's the old set, there would have sent representatives to negotiation meetings in Turkey or wherever. |
Ghostagain:I understand that war is costly, especially given the capitalistic nature of the US. If it becomes too costly, I know there will be economic, social and political consequences. At some point, there will be choices to see if continuing the war is still worth it or it becomes too unpopular depending on the results. There are reports the US spent 6 billion USD in the first week alone. But we must understand that they are fighting Israel's war. So many "foundations, NGOs, and advocacy groups" providing donations. Koch, Adelson, UANI, Kaplan et al. |
Ghostagain:That's part of the point Israel and US will never run out. Yeah, they can run low on some specific type but they can also ramp up wartime production. I use Israel and US interchangeably because I really don't see a difference like Iran and Hezbollah earlier. US weapons to me are Israeli weapons and vice versa. The US has massive stockpiles, and these production companies will and can manufacture missiles massively if and when needed. Surprisingly, Iran is dealing with the situation the best way possible. I didn't think they had it in them earlier. |
Ghostagain:All these talks of USA, Iran, Israel running out of missiles or ammunition after two weeks make me laugh. When they are not corrupt and poorly managed countries like Nigeria How anyone can believe countries who have been prepared for war for a very long time ever run out is baffling to me. Even small hamas in a tiny strip of land didn't run out and continued producing rockets under heavy bombardment talkmore of these countries who have large production hubs. |
[quote author=WriterrNg post=138690080]⚡Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian: Yesterday, the Temporary Leadership Council approved that there should be no more attacks on neighboring countries and no missile launches, unless an attack against Iran originates from those countries.
|
WriteerNg:This has been clear for a while. They'll have to invade the country themselves. |
Hamxas:I don't believe the video at all. Not because it can't happen but their strict censorship will not allow the capture and release of such videos unless it's time to whip up sentiments. |
I'll advice anyone to be careful with consuming any news for this period. My God, the information warfare is real. Even usually reliable news channels are actively sharing fake news. |
The UAE is fighting for its life here. It seems they have paid influencers to still market the UAE as a safe country despite these setbacks, which of course will end soon I believe. In all honesty, the only country I want to feel the heat here is Jordan, for very obvious reasons. I'm hoping it will still happen. |
I think one thing has been clear now. There will be no mass uprising, defections or demonstrations against the Iranian regime. Anyone that wants regime change will now have to do it themselves. |
Turns out it was actually 6 that died when the US announced three. They were in a civilian area at the port in Kuwait. Very soon, we'll hear news report of US servicemen involved in an "accident in Poland" or drowned while windsurfing in Estonia.

WriteerNg:I saw the news and I was just laughing. ![]() This man is a clown true true. And why should Putin agree to that?
|
Twitter paying users has spoilt the platform. Quite a lot of people now share fake news and controversial opinions to rage-bait and drive up their engagement. Now also, most of the comments on threads now seem to be AI generated. In other news, if you're looking for comic relief, go and follow Afghanistan vs Pakistan. ![]() |
WriteerNg:Apparently the Kuwaitis thought he was an Iranian at first, hence the quick assembling of guns and rods to beat him to death ![]() |
LordAdam16:Unnecessary in my opinion. Hezbollah is at its weakest in years. They have even lost some goodwill in Lebanon. They will lose much more with this. It's not a fight they can win. They have just given a pretext to those genocidal maniacs to start murdering innocent civilians and seize land. |
What's happening. Just woke up and first thing I saw was Israel strike on Lebanon. Hezbollah don join fight? |
Truthfulone1:LMAO. Watch those clowns enter negotiations in a few days. |
My God, I have never seen much propaganda like this. Almost every supposed news outlets both pro and anti seems to be reporting personal opinions than actually reporting the news. Where can one get neutral reports abeg? I dey do night shift today and I know the midnight will be hot. I want to follow it in real-time. |
Strong reports emerging that the Supreme leader is dead. If true, e fit am well well. He fumble plenty times. They did it to Hezbollah with Nasrallah, did it to Iran multiple times with key leaders. He still believed them until he reach him turn
|
WriteerNg:I never imagined I'll ever see something like this in the UAE. They have marketed themselves as a tourist haven and luxury destination different from the rest of the ME and shouldn't be involved in stuffs like this. Now people can see it is not different from the rest. |
[quote author=WriteerNg post=138613604]⚡UK PM Starmer: "Our forces are active and British planes are in the sky today, as part of co-ordinated regional defensive operations to protect our people, our interests and our allies." honourable PM, please steer clear. Na God I take beg you. This is not the UK's fight. Let whatever it is stay in the Middle East. Na beg I dey beg o |
WriteerNg:Iran has started. Engage in talks, wait to be attacked again, retaliate, engage in talks. Rinse and repeat. Negotiate and wait for the next batch of officers and politicians to be assassinated. ![]() |
Saladdin:Isn't that what they've always done. Negotiate a ceasefire, get back to the negotiation table, and Iran or it allies gets hit during these talks. Rinse and repeat |
