Travel / Re: Why Do Most Wealthy Nigerians Prefer To Live In Nigeria Than To Relocate Abroad? by Mille: 4:11pm On Oct 02, 2023
Kenn55:
The answer is simple. They can't get the level of respect and worship they get in Nigeria when they reside abroad. Secondly, their source of wealth will be questioned.

Abroad is a leveler of men, nobody send anybody. No special interest or recognition, no police or army following you around carrying your bag and umbrella for you cos you are a big man, everybody has 24/7 light, everybody has water rushing in their homes, everybody enjoys good roads, everybody can afford to travel to other countries because of their passport if they can afford a flight ticket not because they have billions in the bank to show the embassy etc.

So at the end, the gap between the rich and poor is narrow so nobody is going to become a slave to another person because they are rich in abroad.

So if you are a Nigerian big man, you don't want to live in a place where you become an ordinary person, you will rather want to live in a place where your wealth can make you a "god" in the eyes of the people and you can use them and the system to your advantage. In Nigeria, if you are rich, the police, judiciary, pastors etc will do your bidding, in abroad, nobody cares.

But then, don't forget that despite that, most still have properties abroad and their children also have one leg abroad through citizenship or residency incase of incasity grin Don't let them fool you, they are WISE

Lol. Absurd reasoning and hate on rich folks. The kind of hate that stems on envy.

Poor people are the worst set of people to live or relate with. No wonder the rich in Nigeria live in gated, well guarded estates that is out of bounds to people who don't belong there.

In your mind now, every rich person in Nigeria has questionable wealth.

Lol at the "Abroad is a leveler of wealth". What sort of levelling is between people who live in shared flats in London Zone 5, running to catch the tube every day and those who live in private luxury estates in London Zone 1 with a rolls Royce, chaffeur, 24 hour nannies for their children, paying almost 50k in tuition per child at Elton College.

The audacity to compare rich people to our folks in the abroad who move around with bushy hairs because they can't afford to pay £15 pounds weekly for a haircut.

The employer usually bears the transport and accommodation costs for up to 6 or 12 months. If you acquire a pre-employee/employee number you can apply and get a loan (up to 30,000 euros) with a low-interest rate, the usual interest rate in Europe is about 1.5%.
There are organizations that would fund you if you have a pre-employee/employee number issued ( A1 Credits, SBDB Loans, etc.).

This way you will have the funds before you go abroad. You will repay the loan later - when you start receiving salaries.

I didn't even need to help you search online. Mainly seeing the quoted above has convinced me it's 100% scam.

The poster is definitely a narcissist who has a lot of self-love and doesn't care about other people's feelings.

The man waited 14 years. I'm glad my wife got pregnant at the first time of asking. If not, I'd have been out in less than two years.

Family / The Woman My Husband Left Me For Is Pregnant And I'm Not Handling It Well by Mille: 5:27pm On Sep 11, 2023
I came across this post on Reddit and it's triggering.
I am 36F, husband is 37M

My husband and I have been together for about 14 years. For the most part our marriage has been absolutely wonderful. That changed about 2 years ago.

After trying for baby for years we decided to seek out a fertility clinic. After many tests it was concluded that I was the problem. I don't want to get into it but I'm unable to carry a child. It sent me into a pretty deep depression. My husband was wonderful throughout the entire thing, he gave me the space I needed to grieve and be sad. After about 3 months he brought up getting a surrogate or adoption. I lost it, and during the argument I accused him of blaming me. A couple of days later he suggested I go to therapy. Which I did.

I was diagnosed with depression and put in medication. This severally impacted my libido. It's basically non existent. He eventually sat me down and explained his needs, I told him I understood but I can't give him sex or intimacy right now. It blew up into a huge fight, I accused him of caring more about sex, he said he cares about me but I cannot expect him to go without either. In anger he said "I might as well just find it somewhere else" and in anger I told him to go ahead.

That's where the distance between us got bad. He basically stopped trying and we pretty much stopped talking. I eventually found out that he was having an affair. When I confronted him he didn't deny it but didn't seem remorseful about it either. I told him I wanted him out and he left. A couple of days later I was served with divorce papers.

Well now I'm finding out the woman he left me for, the same one he had the affair with us pregnant. I'm not handling this well. I plan on talking to my therapist about it but I'm in a bad place right now.

I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

Excess of women is always a good thing.

They won't. Apart from the backlash that will follow from the hardcore feminists in Western Europe, Ukrainian women like most Eastern Europeans are very beautiful. The women have been very useful (in obvious aspects) to the men in these countries so there will be a lot of opposition if anyone dares to repatriate them.

Please someone help me.

I recently replaced the Brainbox of my 2005 Honda Accord. When I went to pick it up, I noticed it was consuming very large amount of fuel. And also sometimes I have to pull the gear shifter way down and back to drive before it gets moving.

My rewire said it was the raising sensor (something about it not raising pass level 3). We bought it and when he tried fixing it, he said it didn't work. So he returned it and collected back the cash.

He is now saying we need to buy the full package of 18k for it to work. Please I need your advice. I don't want to waste money on something that might not work. Mainly this is the first time I am hearing something called raising sensor. I have heard about 02 sensor or are they the same?

Only where they can launder money and it will not be restricted is what they are looking for.

I noticed when mentioning the great sons of Africa, you omitted some names. I am assuming you omitted them unknowingly. Or maybe it's part of your Stockholm syndrome.

* Thomas Sankara who was killed by a French-sponsored coup. A true African Hero.

*Patrice Lumumba who the then US president authorized his assassination with Belgian assistance. They even saved two of his teeth as souvenirs.

* Sylvanus Olympio who didn't agree to mortgage Togo's future to France and was handed over to his assassins by the US ambassador.

* Felix Moumie of Cameroon who was poisoned by French agents in Switzerland. And despite the Swiss government knowing his assassins, they were pressured by the "self-appointed policemen of the world" to forgo justice.

* Pierre Mulele who decided to continue where Lumumba stopped. They cut off his ears, nose, arms and legs before throwing him into a river in a sack.

I still have more names. If like Putin you "suddenly decide to remember some of Africa's great sons", I'll be happy to give you other names worth emulating than that black trigger-happy genocidal terrorist who was once president of the USA and who used his reigned to drop more bombs on children than anyone in history.

Okay, let's put ourselves in Ukrainians shoe.

Let's say south Africa invades us, kills thousands of us, claiming that we are supposed to be under them, but China comes to our rescue because China hates South Africa. So China supplies us with weapons which we ask for and all of us in the country actually wish for revenge on south Africa.

Now tell me, will you hate China for supporting us from South Africa's invasion even when we ourselves definitely DO NOT want to be under South Africa's rule?

We already have an example in the Biafran civil war where France (as in the case of USA) only armed Biafra not because they cared for their welfare but because they wanted to weaken US and British (Russia) influence in Africa.

Weapons were smuggled in, even passing through airspaces of multiple countries. Right-wing mercenaries (like in Ukraine) were flown in from the then Nazi-equivalent countries of Rhodesia and South-Africa to drag the war on for 3 years.

Now when the Biafrans were suffering from starvation, France and its allies didn't bother sending or smuggling food, they only still kept sending weapons. The war for them was to the last Biafran, just like it is now to the last Ukrainian. It took over 3 years and more than 2 million wasted lives before we knew we have been played. My fear is just like in Biafra, it will take a lot of wasted lives before the Ukrainians come to realize they have been played.

Hostilities should always be settled first by negotiations. Nigeria had the opportunity of avoiding the Biafran war through the Aburi Accord just like the war in Ukraine has had multiple chances of negotiations. But chances of negotiations succeeding are always destroyed by warmongers, in this case, Washington, who see it as a valuable opportunity to weaken a potential rival and are ready to sacrifice to the last Ukrainian.

5. A lot of Nigerians are professionally unfulfilled
6. You got a remote job that pays around €1.5k (1.3 Million Naira) and you returned to Nigeria.

In sorry but this is quite a deluded way of looking at it.

For Americans, this is a proxy war to defeat a rival. (Note that the rival is actually evil in this case by deliberately initiating the mass murdering and destruction of lives and properties of innocent people).

But for Ukrainians, this is a fight for their lives. They don't want to be conquered! They want to be left alone to carve their own futures as a sovereign nation.

This is a war of life and death for them regardless of what Americans intent are but if Americas intent aligns with theirs, all the very best for them too. They just want to exist as a sovereign nation, to be able to choose its own alliances and make its own decisions. Ever wonder why former Soviet states and allies all run towards the US??

Because they know what they suffered and what they saw under Communist Soviet Russia.

You're quite a deluded fellow.

Is there any proxy war where the "victim", Ukraine in this case, is not made to believe the other side is evil and that the proxy war is a fight for their survival.

Because if there is no propaganda to make them believe that, how else are you going to get them to fight for you?

But this war just like many, is basically a proxy war. One where another country is used to fight the enemies, not Americans themselves devoting everything it has to it.

Stupid Ukrainians. Destroying their homes, cities, demographics, people and family structure so they can fight someone else's battle. Just like politicians who give cultists dangerous weapons to fight on their behalf while their own children enjoy five-star holidays abroad.

While the Americans today go to Disneyland to enjoy themselves, another set of Ukrainians (fighting on behalf of the Americans) will become either dead, injured, destitute, homeless or become a refugee elsewhere. Today, many Ukrainians children will become orphans, their wives become widows, and their men end up dead or disfigured. I wonder when the Ukrainian civilian population will finally have the balls to say enough is enough.

A woman can be loyal to her pastor, her boss that pays her peanut but will not respect a man that has been doing more than all this before now.

And to even think according to her comments that the man has only lost his job for a few months. The man better be saving vigorously for his future. I dread the hell that awaits him when he is old or not in good health.

That's if she even sees the married man to be side-chick to. Pussy is now cheap in Nigeria. A Married man who intends to cheat can get varieties of younger women for 10k or less. I'm sure he'll prefer that to an old woman with a worn-out pussy who intends to put her family baggages on him, and who might even be stiff in bed.

I feel sorry about your situation.

But from first hand experience, I have learnt not to believe everything a woman says, I really need to hear from this man to no why?

What changed him, before I can advice.

98% of problems in marriages are caused by women, but play victims when the pressure starts coming.

You're right not to believe her.

All I see from her previous posts is typical of the Nigerian women. A man loses his source of income, told her to let them relocate to the village to start things afresh, she refused. And keeps nagging him about his inability to currently provide rather than support him to rise again.

I hope for the man's sake that she divorces him. She already mentioned that she denies him sex, food and exposes his current situation to family and friends. She is currently of no benefits to the man and at least when she's gone, the man will have peace of mind and a less nagging voice singing in his ears every day. The only benefit the man currently gets from her being his wife is the constant belittling and I'm damn sure he will be relieved to see her go.

Typical selfish woman. Makes a vow of "for better for worse" during the wedding ceremony. And after enjoying the better and once the man is in a mess and needed supporting hands and ears, they kick him while he is down. When my father fell on hard times, I was withdrawn to a free public school close to our house until things got better. At least my mother knew then how wise and understanding it was to ease the pressure on her husband and not start reporting him to neighbors, friends and family members about "his inability to pay school fees". Too bad they don't make wives like my mother anymore. Because I don't seem to understand the fact that a struggling man is still being tasked with paying school fees when there are free government schools all around us.

Momsloved , I sincerely hope and pray that you divorce him. You are of no use to him as a wife just as he is of no use to you as a husband. Take your kids and divorce him. It will lift a huge pressure off him, and at least, you'll know how easy it is to continuously fend for your family.

And here I was thinking I would "exchange views without hate speech".

You guys are something else.

And maybe you should check the meaning of autocracy. Putin has basically made himself president for life. A country where opposition is murdered, imprisoned and persecuted is certainly not a democracy.

Cameroon has had a single president for 40 years, just like guinea. Yet the citizens go to the polls. Polls that are already rigged or results are already known due to state manipulation.

That is autocracy. One where there is no viable opposition. Russia is one. No one should be president for almost 25 years like Putin has been.

You're the one who doesn't know the meaning of autocracy.

Angela Merkel was Chancellor for 16 years, you haven't called Germany autocratic. Orban of Hungary has been prime minister of Hungary for 17 years, is Hungary an autocratic state. When you're good and the people trust in you, you're bound to get re-elected.

I saw how you stylishly avoided the other replies especially on the massacres so you can focus only on the meaning of autocracy. You're no different from NAFO bots on twitter. It's a waste of time.

Fine, you have my curiosity.

Please as briefly as you can, tell me why on earth are you supporting Russia, an autocratic regime, ruthlessly invading another sovereign country.

I, for example apply the standards to others that I apply for myself. I sure as hell wouldn't like any other country to invade me claiming that I must join them by force when a vast majority of my countrymen don't want to join them.

This is a very stupid take and comparison.

First; What makes Russia an autocratic regime?

Secondly, I don't know who told you Russia wants to Ukraine to join them.

The US, EU etc violently overthrew (in their usual manner) a validly elected popular government because it was seeking closer ties with Russia. Then they started violently the areas who were pro-Russian and has Russian ancestry. Notable examples include the massacre in the soon-to-be liberated Odessa where about 50 Russians were barricaded and burnt to death inside the Trade Union office, and the formation of the far-right Neo-Nazi Azov brigade in the now liberated city of Mariupol sorely to attack Russians living in Eastern Ukraine. ( I can point you to multiple Western news reports and documentries of the massacres committed by Azov, especially on Vice News which I watch pretty often before they joined the NAFO bandwagon; that's if they have now not been).

https://www.vice.com/en/article/vb95ma/far-right-extremists-have-been-using-ukraines-civil-war-as-a-training-ground-theyre-returning-home

https://www.vice.com/en/article/exk4dj/nationalist-interest-v23n4

Russia is finally moving to protect its people after 8years of watching massacres on the sidelines and you're comparing it to an invasion. Israel is currently invading Palestinian lands and I haven't heard you NAFO bots say anything about a CURRENT TRUE INVASION.

Just like Benin Republic and Nigeria. I am Yoruba. If the Benin Government engages in the systemic massacre and attack on the Yoruba people who constitutes 25% of the country's population, be damn sure there will be proactive actions by our people and government in Western Nigeria and unlike Putin, we won't have to wait 8 years. And at that point, the maps drawn by some useless white men at the Berlin conference of 1884 will be revisited.
