Who says we cant win without the injured ones? Ask Chelsea how we played em last season at Stamford Bridge with our paper light team. We have fit players in all areas unlike in other situations. Itz just that the bench is razor thin.

@ Millenna,

Raul's goals in the qualifiers is different to this. . . . Every team participating in the EURO 2008 all played qualifiers.
In the UCL, some players didnt play in the qualifiers so why should Fab4's goals count when Ronaldo and co didn't play in this competition.
How is that a fair assessment. Think deep and don't be a retard like others.

I am not a retard and wont be one either. I wonder why it is so difficult for you to understand the technicalities behind this. U mean Raul's goals in the Euro 2008 qualifier's are different from fabregas's goals in the UCL 2008 qualifiers? Do you know that the hosts of some tournaments automatically qualify without kicking a ball? That means that Austria and Switz qualified automatically for Euro 2008 without any form of play whatsoever other than thier staging rights? Does that discredit the scorers in the qualifiers because some people didnt partake in the qualifiers, hence, couldnt score? Think deep dear. That is why there are scorers' chart for the qualifiers and scorers' chart for the main tournament.  Fabregas's goals (the ones in contention here) came in the qualifiers' of UCL 2008 and is summed up in his tally for the season. I know you are not retarded, and can understand this sound principle. Thats why I took the pains to explain it to you.
If you have more questions other than these, dont hesitate to ask. I cant continue to answer the same questions over and over again (from a genius like you).

@ Chacal
In most tournaments there is a qualifier. The UCL scorer's chart you refer to here is for the UCL proper. That doesnt mean that there wasn't any qualifiers prior to the main competition. Just like Raul's goals in the Euro 2008's qualifiers wont count when the scorer's chart are set up during the Euro 2008 proper doesnt mean that when summing up his goals tally for the season, those goals will not count. That golden boots are given for goals scored in the tournament proper doesnt mean that it is not worth mentioning goals contributions in the qualifiers. And you were wrong to compare Cesc's goals in the UCL qualifiers to RVP's in the Emirate's cup, the reason being that the former came in  competitive games while the latter came in a non-competitive game (friendly). Please get these records straight.

Girls using juju on guys is real and works but it depends on u the guy as in it depends on your fate. and your spiritual level. 4 exmple it's not going to work for a real christain guy.

Simple and correct.

Even if Voodoo works, I believe it will not last as what ever comes of the devil is fake and is bound to fade away with time.

Believe me, if you want to or not, juju is real and works. But it is not unstopable. It is fake and bound to errors or submission to higher powers; God's powers being the greatest.

@Poster
Pastors are men just like you and I. They can stumble. Just like Jesus said "let he who has no sin cast the first stone". I presume you must have stolen something sometime in your life. So, dont judge the Pastor. The good news is that no matter what sin we have committed, God is ever willign and ready to forgive us of our sins once we repent and forsake such sins.

Thanks for converting negativity to positivity. It pays to spread the message anywhere, anyhow and anytime.

@ Jackal

one comment - Cesc has scored 12 goals in competitive games, but only 3 goals in the UCL, scoring two in qualifying.

The 2 may not count when counting goals in terms of the UCL highest scorer, but are perfectly 'competitive' goals when calculating a player's sum total goals in an entire season wink

Gunner 1915 cool grin

Simple and precise. Even retards can understand this. (But there are no retards in nairaland).

Why do you guys just copy and paste stuff which are untrue and try to make it real? Y' all claim to have read the Bible, but none of you have studied it, to understand a single verse in it.
Verily verily I say unto you, "if you concentrate on making yourself a better human, you will discover many truths, Christ inclusive". God never lies. The Bible is His word, written by men of God by inspiration. Hence, the Bible never lies.
***You can never break the Bible. It will break you instead if you try such folly.

You sound sick. These posts will get you nowhere. Challenging God will not either.
Please study Acts 4:12. When you dissect it, you will get your clarifications.
Ur reading the Bible isnt utopia. Ask the Holy Spirit who leads in2 all truth to guide you, and you will discover the truth just like Pilgrim1 did. We christians study the Bible unlike church goers who read it.

The injury list is mounting. The injury list on Thursday read: Tomas Rosicky (hamstring), Johan Djourou (groin), Denilson (hamstring) and Robin van Persie (thigh) plus Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Eboue and Alex Song are at the African Nations Cup. Then Manuel Almunia (thumb) and Gilberto (back) had to drop out on Friday. AW has only 14 outfield players for the trip to MCity.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Millena(m): 8:51pm On Jan 23, 2008
C'mon you can't win all the time. AW has continually stated that the carling cup is for the young lads. You can't blame him for giving them a competition to mature and prove themselves, out of 4 competitions. The carling cup is the least of the competitive tournaments, and the gaffer uses that as a yardstick to test his youthful reserves each season.
Have you all forgotten that MUtd who tried playing their reserves just like AW did, got knocked out at the first hurdle?
C'mon these lads gave their best against a superior and more experienced Spurs. This is a learning curve.  When both teams meet in the Prem, then you can compare and contrast. Even if Barca or Inter or R.Madrid were in England, AW will still play these lads agains their first eleven in the carling cup. Its a lesson. It contributes a lot to their learning curve.
I know it hurts loosing not just a game, but a tournament against old foes Spurs, but some disappointments are blessings in disguise. How many reserves from other teams, not 2 mention the other big 3 can boast of a cup final and a cup semi within 2 years at such a tender age? MUtd lads nor LVPool nor Chelsea can. But Arsenal lads can boast that they have been there, and done that (though not quite sucessfully but near perfection).
