For those of you complaining about LASU admission portal get it simple like this ,visit the site click on pre-register put in ur jamb no and choose utme from the drop down.Then send
after click on e-payment use ur JAMB registration no as application id put others then proceed. it will show ur infortmation and u can generate trasction ID for payment. Lobatan

All said and done. I read somewhere along this epistle that we DE applicants won't be required to write the screening exam, now my question is for we the DE applicants after successful registration for the screening form, what are we to do next?

No I haven't, but I think the process is really explanatory, after checking eligibility, click this link that says proceed or log in, then it takes you to the payment page, you put ur Jamb reg no in application no space, click proceed, it generates a payment advisement, you click process, it would generate a transaction code which you would use to pay on quick teller

1st Round Admission Screening is meant for those who choose LASU as Most Preferred Choice(1st choice)
Candidate who DiD not choose LASU as 1st Choice in 2016/2017 are not eligible.
FURTHERMORE,Candidate who choose LASU as 1st CHOICE but did not score upto 190 in UTME but score a Minimum of 180 and also choose a LESS COMPETITIVE COURSE are eligible to apply.

Visit:www.screening.lasu.edu.ng then click on PRE_REGISTRATION*SCROLL_DOWN to SCREENING EXERCISE BOX*TYPE YOUR JAMB REG*THEN SELECT UTME/DE*THEN SUMMIT.....

This screening is for those that chose Lasu as most preferred (First choice).
If you didn't, just chill, the second screening will be for the more proffered (second choice) while those that didn't choose Lasu at all should look away.

But somepeople chose em as first choice still didn't get qualified? So?

There's something called regularisation which you do before proceeding to do Jamb DE registration before even considering applying to the uni. Cc YoBoyfwend please help explain properly

Not true bro... I've two medical aspirants (MBBS) who chose them as FIRST Choice , they both had 230+ and 251 respectively.. They still ineligible... Don't think it's dha first or second choice problem.. Called someone already and he instructed dhat we wait till next week.. Let's see.!

It has come to this notice of the medical and dental council of Nigeria that some newly established medical schools end up admitting students into medicine without getting full accreditation from its council,It has vehemently warned against this several times.This could Actually be said of Delsu,Unibuja and the rest who admitted students into medicine without prior accreditation from the council,hence,subjected their students to frustration and Anxiety.Though,that of delsu has been resolved because they now have full accreditation, while that of uniabuja is nothing short of a collosal failure.It's worthy to note that the pioneer students of delsuth faculty spent 10 years before they graduated from medical school.Uniabuja medical students had spent 8- 10 years,yet,still in 300/400L.Great institutions like uniben ,Oau had suffered the same fate in the past.Now my point is,I'm not trying to dissuade anyone from trying out unimed but the person should it at heart that the journey may not be an exciting one at all.It's synonymous to paying a prize because life itself is a risk .the pioneer medical students of some of these institutions had paid the prize.A medical school without full accreditation doesn't worth the stress.God bless you.

There is a question I wish to ask, I hope I get clarification. Why is there always beef with JOHESSU and Doctors?, it all looks like the fight is against doctors? Please help clarify as I don't understand, why can't they just get along since they all have a common goal, To save lives and help patients get better.

Shouldn't it be a Joint effort with the nurses, lab scientists, orderlies,etc.... rather than everyone trying to do someone else's Job. That seems to be what is wrong with health care in Nigeria.
