Depending on how PDP case in court goes,90% of the delta PDP structure Don't like edebvie,as it stands the case is on appeal before September they will decide..so mathematically sheriff is still the candidate of PDP, edebvie was commissioner of finance and he aided his boss to modernize and privatize state resources... the guy sef no dey popular..okowa and co Wil rather collapse their structure for another party if after appeal n supreme it doesn't go their way..

David Edevbie has being in PDP for a very long time but has never won his ward for PDP not to talk of Local Government.

Edevbie has no legacy in all his year in government on his home town Afiesere, in Ughelli North. His only chance is the support of Ibori and the sympathy that Okowa is trying to take who calls the short from Ibori. Outside this, Edevbie can't win.

Nice analysis.. osanebi wanted to represent ndokwa fed constituency but okowa wanted nnamdi ezechi..the thing is even delta south will deliver bloc votes alongside Delta north for okowa in presidential election while the vote will be split between APC/lp/PDP in central... edebvie should better pray he wins till supreme Court if not his political career might be over..there are so many loopholes in that judgment like I said sheriff will be re installed, edebvie dragged PDP, INEC and sheriff to court..the appeal by lawyers from sheriff and PDP against edebvie will be a tough one to scale through..if and when he loses his political line Will be fading...

The court case is a big blow to the PDP, this is a fact. Deadline ends next week and INEC won't accept any submission from the party pending when they clear the court case, even at that, you can't wash away the issues raised against Sheriff. The best he could have done was to omit some documents like what Tinubu did, avoid submitting credentials that might be used against you.

The party is greatly divided, I don't see how they will scale through. Too many in-fighting. Look at Agege's deputy Osanebi, man was a PDP baller but got played. So many top party members also have this grudge. Aside the court case, they should unite their home. As it stands, Okowa can't pull votes in Central and south. Even if PDP clears the governorship, it will perform poorly in the presidential election.
