My brother I av been applied severally and my name Neva came out such as FRSC,Fire service,immigration and prison service... I didn't call upon for any screening process at all..I don't know my offence from interior ..anyway, I Neva lose hope I strongly believe that God Almighty will remba me one day...

I pray God will grant my effort over NDLEA, Nigeria custom service and among others and those who were believing God from fed. Govt job Ameeen.....

NSCDC probes source of fake online recruitment messages

Following the recruitment advertisement by the Board of Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Correctional Services which portal has since closed on the 7th of September, 2019, it has come to the notice of the Management of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps that some unscrupulous elements has taken advantage of this process to defraud unsuspecting members of the public through sending fake text and online messages stating that the registered candidates for recruitment should check their e-mail messages for their names and shortlisted candidates should report for screening and training at different designated locations in the country.



Noting this gimmicks by fraudsters, the CG while briefing the Management staff at the Corps Headquarters stated categorically that the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Correctional Services Board which is legally responsible for the recruitment exercise into the Corps has not sent out any message to applicants regarding screening time-table or checklist for interview.

Also, that the message going round did not emanate from the Corps. ‘’We hereby inform the general public and all applicants that the names of successful applicants for interview is yet to be shortlisted and no screening dates has been fixed for anyone’’, the CG said. However, compilation of eligible applicants is still on-going and shall soon be shortlisted for interview and further processes. Only successful candidates who registered via the Board official website will be contacted and it will be officially published in conventional media.



The Commandant General, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu has set up a panel to investigate individuals or group of persons behind the fake messages and in due course they shall be made to face the full wrath of the law.



In the same vein, the Corps uses this medium to warn the general public mostly desperate applicants not to fall victim of the fraudsters peddling fake messages especially on social media and therefore, enjoin all applicants to disregard any false information or directives requesting for any form of payment, screening and training, restating that, the Corps neither contract nor hire anyone to carry out the recruitment exercise on her behalf other than the Board. Therefore, applicants are to seek information from the right source in order not to fall prey of antics of scammers.

Offcos base on the information I heard this tyme around replacement will go in line with recruitment ..portal will be opening for the public online registration while those that made the replacement will be contacted secretly for the documentation and interview...

I don't know possible its ..I even heard its also occurred recently recruitment process of NPS and fire service...in fact, I don't know how true it's sha.

Information reached me today that NSCDC might commence contacting those who made the replacement list by next week or upper week..although I don't know how truth its sha...we pray hopefully smtin lyke that should happen. Thanks.

Sorry for kept you waiting ...I was trying to verify some information I got..I will lyke to inform you that all activities concerning replacement or recruitment has been postponed till new ministers has appointed especially to the ministry of interior.

So therefore ,everything lies on Mr president to Quickly send the ministerial list to NASS before their resumption July 2.. Thanks and av a wonderful.

Offcos,NSCDC had fast track the last exams wrote by the existing officers . base on the information I got this morning .it was promotional exams result list came out at the NSCDC headquarter Abuja on last monday which many of their officers gone there to check theirs and some people here referred it as replacement list which is false ..

Nothing is happening yet...I heard any moment from now..interview or documentation none is commenced yet..Good day...

You are right @ikenna, I heard the same yesterday.. I later found out reason behind put holding on the replacement process, information i got was that interior permsac and minister were not in good time, permsac planning to delay the replacement process pending the tyme the cabinet will be desolve so that she would able to do it the way she desire..Anyway i heard before ending of this month they will continue the processing. Information reached me that replacement is on going belive me or not any moment from now they will start contacting those who made the list..and I also heard that they are taking 2500 officers, BSC and HND 900 while NCE,ND,and O level 1,600..thanks av a wonderful day.

Beware of this guy call Damirel is a scam. You av to be very careful .I wanted to respond to his comment that very day he mention date NSCDC would opened camp smtin just escaped my mind that very day.
