Awaiting officers, Are you all thinking what I have been thinking, if NSCDC refuse to shortlist successful applicants for screening and documentation in the next two weeks I'm not sure it will hold again until ending of may 2021 Here are my reasons: * Muslims faith will soon commence their compulsory one month Ramadan (fasting). starting from 14th, April 2021 till 14th of May 2021. * Many applicants are Muslims and they may not strong enough to Partake in the screening during fasting especially running and other exercise as screening and documentation may takes two or more days * Most of the officers will also be on fasting which many will not find easy to take many tasks * Minister of interior and comptroller general (CG) of NSCDC are also Muslims, they should look into this before it's too late. I pray we should all be among successful applicants. |

He didn't mention recruitment at all. He was just saying they were building a gigantic facilities for inmates and before the end of the year it would be completed. He said 3 will be completed and commissioned before the end of year across three Geo political zones. North West, North Central, South South While South West, South East and North East will be next year |
Don't expect anything for now till 15th of this month. Collection of the APL of correctional service still ongoing. Those who are collecting APL now are from the VIPs. It's believed that nothing could be done on *NIS*and *NSCDC* until the board of interior officials are finally done with the ongoing correctional service appointment before jumping on NIS and NSCDC. The director/secretary to the board, Alhassan Yakmut has just retired from the active service after serving a meritorious 35years in service. Lastly, the meeting we all expected to have held last week for the ongoing recruitment exercise did not hold but hopefully it will be held this week. |

NIS graduates 446 senior officers Vanguard News The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has graduated 446 officers from the Immigration Training School, Kano. Spokesperson of the service, Mr Sunday James, said in a statement issued to newsmen on Saturday in Abuja that the officers went through the 45th Superintendent Basic Course. He said the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, while congratulating the graduands, urged them to remain guided by the trainings they had received and the agency’s rules of engagement, in their official conducts. According to him, the minister further assures them that the ministry will continue to ensure that genuine needs of all the Services under its purview, are attended to for enhanced service delivery. He said the Comptroller-General of the NIS, Mr Muhammad Babandede, in his remark, reminded the graduating officers of coming into an IT-Driven Service that placed high premium on digitisation, systems automation and professionalism. According to him, Babandede states that the foundation of the Technology Building located at the service headquarters in Abuja, was laid in December 2018, adding that the “building is standing and awaiting commissioning. “With the completion of the building, every activity and operation in NIS will be fully automated. ”Therefore, you need to reinvent yourselves and upgrade your skills to be relevant in the NIS of today. |
Just In!!! As Adamu tenure expires, President Buhari appoints AIG Zanna Mohammed Ibrahim, as Acting Inspector General of Police... |
*GROUP WARNS ETHNIC AGITATORS : DO NOT DESTABILISE EXISTING STABILITY IN NSCDC* A Kaduna based group; Greater Nigeria Youth Movement (GNYM) has reacted sharply to what it called the misguided and ethno driven agitations for the leadership of Nigeria Security and Security Defence Corps (NSCDC) to be given to the South East of the country. The Chairman of GNYM; Barr Odumosu Odunfa flanked by the association Secretary, Comrade Patricia Pam asserted that the NSCDC leadership trend overtime has duly reflected the stability and fairness every God fearing Nigerians should appreciate. The group while appreciating President Muhammadu Buhari for shocking doubters of his administration with the appointment of Maj General Leo Irabor as Chief of Defence Staff, the group affirmed her belief that in all sense of reasoning the leadership of NSCDC has overstayed in the South and should move further to the North having been in the Sothern part for unprecedented ten years under Ade Abolurin. Comrade Odumosu submitted that as a detrabalised Nigerian he wonder why normal sense of reasoning should be jettisoned on the platter of ethnocentric bogotry as seen widely displayed by some misguided elements in their calls that Southern part of the country particularly South East should still have a shot when the Northern part specifically the North Central has only had 4years shot. The groug thus call for the leadership to be allowed to stay in the North as a way to balance the ten years already spent by the South. The group Secretary, in her submission went further to query the South Eastern agitators to come clear on their demands if they are agitating for IGP of Police or CG of NSCDC, hence the need for the uncordinated agitators to put their houses in order. She noted that hardly did anyone saw the appointment of Maj Irabor coming. The group therefore warns the Minister of Interior Affair, Aregbesola, not to allow himself to be misled and should prove beyond doubt that he, Aregbesola is a bonafide and detrabilised yoruba Nigerian |

Greetings to my fellow able and capable officers in waiting of the NSCDC. As we all know that a new acting CG has been appointed to act in the capacity of a CG pending confirmation or appointment of a new CG from the President through the Hon. Minister of Interior, let's be informed that nothing different or new has been initiated into the ongoing recruitments excercise and with informations on ground now, the lists have been submitted to FCC for approval after which the National Assembly Committee on Interior would deliberate and negotiate on the lists and approve then give a go ahead before names are released. When the names would be out is something i can't specifically state but between now and February is realistic according to my source. Let's just be hopeful and prayerful as well. |
Good evening guys I'm pleased to inform you that nothing is going to happen within the month again as a result of the second wave of covid 19 but much is expected as we approach February, originally February was the month scheduled for something to start but then, hear drops could be true at times that's why I didn't come here to update you guys... But as it stands let's look up to February for something better.. In addition I'm well pleased with the latest info from the Nigerian custom service.. I'm sure February will be a month everyone of us would celebrate... Enjoy the rest of your week. ✌️ |
The resumption of reps has nothing to do with our release, the issue of their report has been solved. Hopefully next week and hope are not lost.. |
Let's be prayerful. I pray we all get this Job. It won't take time on FCC's table. They have to consider many factors before the final shortlisting. Don't forget the board still have to write Presidential task force on Covid 19 to seek for medical advise so that it won't impede the final shortlisting just like NDLEA did. Luckily, Hon minister of interior and the chairman of the board is also a member of the presidential task force on Covid 19. The six weeks unanimously given by the Green chamber of the National Assembly to Federal character Commission (FCC) and the House committee on interior will elapse upon resumption of the National Assembly next week. However, Final shortlisting is inevitable from month ending |

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari may have decided to extend the tenure of the Commandant-General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Abdullahi Gana, for another two years. Gana was said to have handed over on 18th January to a Deputy Commandant General, Hilary Kelechi Madu, following the expiration of his tenure. Madu is currently the most senior officer at NSCDC after Gana. The development could not be confirmed from the Public Relations Officer of NSCDC, Mr Emmanuel Okeh, as the mobile phone was unreachable but sources said the Presidency asked Gana to remain office while a memo would be communicated on the extension of his tenure. It was gathered that Gana has two more years in Service and that the Presidency insists it did not give a handover directive and as such, the status quo be maintained. In 2019, the Federal Government through the Ministry of Interior elongated his tenure by six months. NSCDC spokesman, Emmanuel Okeh, had in a statement on July 19, announced that the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbeshola communicated approval. |
CG to sign the final recruitment list tomorrow morning fist before heading to ministry of interior for a crucial meeting with the permanent secretary, minister and some selected directors Abdullahi gana will be present at the meeting in ministry of interior to make his last speech and comments tomorrow and also discusse on the new acting CG and to properly hand over |
The CG has Bow out, Giving DCG Madu (Operations) The Mantle Of Leadership On Acting Capacity, Pending The Appointment Of The New CG.... How true is this? |
Daily Post Nigeria NEWS Reps ask Civil Defence, Immigration to cancel ongoing recruitment over use of computer test Published on December 16, 2020 The House of Representatives on Wednesday directed the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, and the Nigerian Immigration to suspend or cancel the Computer Base Test (CBT) used in the ongoing recruitment. The House directed the two security outfits to conduct another test using the manual process. The resolution was a sequel to a motion moved by member, Hafiz Kawu. Kawu argued in his motion that most Nigerians are not computer literate, therefore, the test was discriminatory against some people. He said that the agencies should instead use the normal handwritten test, instead of the ongoing collaboration with Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Kawu explained that “95 per cent of Nigerians are not computer literate. JAMB did not consider those who are not computer literate. They did not provide an alternative for those who are not computer literate, therefore, not providing a level playing field for all.” Speaking against the motion, Ibrahim Olanrewaju said that anyone with a Secondary School Certificate which is the minimum qualification should be able to pass the CBT test. “If the requirement is SSCE, one would expect such a candidate to be able to participate. We should not be looking back. We should be encouraging even mechanics to have basic knowledge of computers.” Speaking in support of the motion, Abdulrasak Namdas said he has been getting complaints from his constituents on the CBT exams. He added that for the paramilitary, “the emphasis is on physical fitness, not test.” The House Committees Interior and Federal Character were mandated to monitor the recruitment and report to the House in 6 weeks |

*Updates on NSCDC RECRUIT.* Good day everyone... Prior to our expectations about the shortlist I don't want us to be pessimistic, but rather optimistic about concluding the whole process before this year ends.. Its not sure the list will be out today, infact I don't even think so, but then we can look forward till tomorrow before we get update on when it could be released... For those of us still asking questions or waiting to see results of the just concluded exam, pls there's no result coming out the exam was only conducted to test our knowledge and pass through the necessary standard of the organisation however, it doesn't determine APL so just relax yourself and leave the result out of these.. The most important is to always be shortlisted as we move from stages to stages. . In addition, it is left for the ministry itself or board to determine how they want this done, I'm talking about the ( *screening in general)* I know everyone is very anticipating but then, let's just relax and hear from them... I can assure everyone here that info and updates from genuine source will be shared here as usual from time to time and also with the help of my *colleagues* just make sure you stay in touch... . FG can't be predicted you all know that, fee hours to general election about a year ago, the INEC chairman came out to postpone it and if you can remember vividely, NSCDC updated the portal on the night against the CBT EXAM DAY and added SEAT NUMBER which lead to unespecred expensise for many of the APPLICANT.. That's Nigeria for you, anything can happen and they could change their mind anytime... But just stay in touch... God bless everyone as we wait.. . |
