tobland101:Actually, you're not writing any exams. Nevertheless, these are the facts you need to put into consideration before applying: -Do you have the requirements to getting an admission into NOUN for your desired/proposed Course of Study? -Are you financially buoyant? -Do you have the accoutrements of adjusting to a Self-Taught environment? If yes, after the aforementioned phase. You can now proceed to the second phase specified by 'nuelzy' |
AliEsq:If you really wish/desire to know your Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), you would need to create/initiate a specific and leisure time to go to the headquarters. You can check it at the Exams&Records Unit. Howbeit, I'll beseech you to make a rough calculation of your GPAs before going there so as to compare&contrast yours with theirs. All the best! |
AliEsq:It's only meant for those who are due for graduation. When you are endorsed for graduation, you'll see the Jamb regularization number in your portal. |
Luka316:You'll need to go to JAMB Office OR any Cybercafe that specialises in Jamb registration and purchase the Jamb regularization scratch card. At the Cybercafe, they'll take your biometrics (finger and signature recognition) and other information needed. Make sure you monitor them in filling the form meticulously. After you must have finished filling the form online, print it out (coloured) and take it to your SC. |
patakioye:Mass Communication is somehow interwoven with Human Resources in one way or the other. So, you could be accepted for MBA (Human Resources). REASONS: Communications graduates have long been valued within businesses among human resources teams, helping to recruit, train and retain valued staff. In addition, your role as a communications graduate is likely to be in providing the right information at the right time to the right people within the company. You are good to go! |
[quote author=opeyemix post=40557561]Cheerfully visit www.noun.edu.ng You'll see the varieties of Courses offered. |
liljaydee:NOUN is a full time institution whose mode of study is full flesh Open Education System. The Open University system is designed in such a way that as a student, you're required to study everyday for specific hours rather than coming to a classroom where lectures teach students every day like the Conventional Universities. Although, there sometimes exist tutorial facilitation, this is optional for students who wish to participate. Part time study is popularly called Distance Learning in Conventional Universities. But in NOUN, what we have is a full time study done in a flexible and convenient way. Here, a 4year Course is a 4year Course. However, you're allowed to determine how/when you intend to study within your own time schedule. |
From an intellectual perspective, BIGFRANCIS possesses the spirit/trait of humility in all ramifications. And it's a principle that deserves to be revered. Humble people know their self-worth. As a result, they don't feel the need to cast themselves before others just to show them how much they know. Instead, humble people realise that nobody cares how much they know until those people know how much they're cared for. To crown it all, he's known for his ability to 'articulate' his thoughts and descriptions, even to a layman without any form of cynicism. Keep it up! #I doff my hat. |
tundesto:Your question is quite voluminous. Please, visit your intended SC to make an in-dept and ample inquiry. Thanks |
vision2050:To buttress my points. Elective classes are Courses that count toward your degree, but aren't directly related to your degree program. You can base these Courses on your interests or take a few that would help you out in your field of study and transfer to your career. Some of the importances of Elective Courses are: -It boosts GPA. -It ameliorates transcripts. -It provides students with a well-rounded education that focuses on foundational subjects. -It expands a student's global awareness, critical thinking skills, and communication skills. -It can increase your knowledge of a specialised area within your field. -To crown it all, a student may turn out to find something they're really interested in, that they never would have originally thought of. |
[quote author=chyna4luv post=40431609]Sorry for the late response. You shouldn't have any issue with that, however, present it at your proposed SC next year January. If there would be any kind of correction, they'll know what to do. Regards! |
TastyTuoyo:There are no right or wrong answers to this question. Howbeit, It's advisable to register for one Elective course per semester. Even in Conventional Universities, you have to at least register for one Elective Course per semester. As for me, I do normally register for one Elective per semester. Additionally, it'll help boost your GPA. |
maekhel:The previous answer was in connection to PGD and not PhD. |

moyinoluwabun:Yes, you can. |
JigsawKillah:Perhaps, it's due to error resulting from bad codes in some program involved in producing the TMA question. Or human error, whilst inputing the TMA questions at the NOUN TMA unit. |
moyinoluwabun:Application for admission into the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is all year round. Howbeit, go to your Study Centre(SC) in January, next year, for clearance/screening after you might have obtained your form. |
Fellow Nounites! Am seeing things/drama here... You can't actually stop scammers from scamming, but you can stop yourself from being scammed. HOW? -Don't be greedy -Shine your eyes -No pay before service For these reasons, we need to know what are the most popular schemes and techniques used by Cyber Criminals in reaching for our private information and financial data. We must not forget their final target is always our money and there is nothing; tactics/tricks they won't use in accomplishing their mission. #OYO. |
aned:I see |
beehighdee:Really? This is becoming interesting ![]() |
beehighdee:Sir, there's no need to muck up this subject. How on earth would someone score 60/35?! What kind of inapt fraction is that? The person that scored 30/35 actually got 30 questions correctly out of 35ques and the person that scored 26/35 actually got 26 questions correctly out of 35ques. So, when you multiply the both by 2, you get your answer over 70% e.g 30/35 = 60/70% and 26/35 =52/70%. All e-exam Maths (MTH) Courses are based on 35 questions and it carries 2marks per question. |
snrr:Visit. www.noun.edu.ng You'll get to see the package-deal. |
