Chicken manure is what I used but it has to be properly dried

well it work for some people but it is too salty, so you should know how to Put it.its better to experience it by testing even in one sack.

A term is like 3months dats 90days,i'll advise you plant cucumbers, why? Coz dere'll be a lot to teach dem dere, like how to stake, male and female flowers nd even how to hand pollinate incase u dnt have bees/butterflies around.. most cucumber varieities start fruiting on/before 40days, concerning the bags I fink cement bags are ok

Yea age chicken droppings works wonders..these are grown with it...[quote author=organicfoods post=45789717]If you uproot them you will destroy them successfully. I am afraid though, some of the cucumbers has reached a point of no return. Your may get it wrong now but you now have a valuable experience about the nasty effects of using chemicals. Next time consider going organic, using aged chicken dropping with the soil before planting will save you much stress. Check the pix, it's all grown using chicken droppings.

vanpeele:
Hello everyone,

I recently began a sack farming project to see how possible it was to grow cucumbers in sacks. I'll like to announce that it was a successful endeavour. For those who don't have land to farm on, you all have no more excuse. It's as easy as just putting soil (which is free) in a sack and that's it. I thank all the agric, vegetables and cucumber lords of this forum. Una don try and una still dey try. Please enjoy the pics...they speak better.

Please feel free to ask any questions... grin
