yrmybank: I have two attestation forms signed and stamped; one by a school principal and the other by my local govt. chairman. They both equally attached their passport and stamped it. However, while the principal gave me a photocopy of his drivers licence, the chairman didn't. My major concern now is the weight the signee carries and the fact that the instructions on the attestation form includes the local government chairman as an officer who can sign the form while the principal is listed on the website but not on the form itself.
if you're me, how will you handle this?
cc: mimzy007 ; mikedemeji Go with that of the principal, if it was on the site but not on the form it's not anyone's fault. Most of the guidlines were on the site, you can't be penalized for that. |

chyomahphil: Guys i noticed something, sorry if its gonna sound dumb, but d website(dat place where u can download d forms again) says "all forms must b duly completed and submitted at the venue of the, zonal enlistment exercise does it mean we dont need d attestion forms dis sunday?
cc mimzy007 my dear Sunday is the beginning of the 'zonal enlistment ' meaning that is where you should submit them, the screening will start for some people that day depending on your state. however most of the time they over look that until the selection board. |

mikedimeji: Well said. The NN DSSC 2015 there periods that people were asking for PQ, we eventually circulated it. The PQ has about 300 question but believe u me in the 2015 Test there just 50 questions, the questions don't even look alike and like u said even uptil now that they are over a month in the training the thread is just about page 91. One major thing I discover here is that people don't want to read up the pages they missed, were as most of their questions has been answered in the previous pages. Let's keep rolling, wishing everyone the best When I first applied for NAF in 2013, I read through all the NAF threads on NL and kept tabs on the NN and NA threads, every possible question about the app had answers in them so I didn't need to asked questions on the process and with my prior military knowledge I was good to go, I used that to answer questions people ask and I was a JJC like everyone. we have to be proactive and help ourselves. If you panic now what will happen at the selection board? |

Thomanad: Exactly my point! I sat for the airmen/airwomen aptitude test, sincerely i didnt get my hands on any past questions.I studied my maths, english, current affairs and about the millitary and NAF.I eventually found out that d test was a piece of cake,i wouldn't get anytin less dan 45/50. Imagine me reading this thread from page 90 to 96 without finding anytin meaningful/useful.Guys just av to stop this pastquestions of a thing, sincerely it's a mindsore. The navy 2015 dssc thread,up till training started in march, the page was just 88. This page is already 96 and screening av not even started.
Mimzy pls help tell d guys to chill abeg. My dear no matter how much you tell people to calm down they keep panicking. Someone helped by posting that of NN yet some people are saying its not that of NAF, even when they have been told to glance through the GMAT and be conversant with NAF and current affairs they are busy asking for PQ, I'm sure when I said I didn't have PQ some will doubt. The number of questions that can be asked are unlimited, just understand the format and work with it .it's not like we are expecting a repitation of questions and if you don't know current affairs even if you are given all the PQs available you won't get it right coz those questions are from the past. Anyway, by the next 12 days it will be over. |

Abirisegun: A White man once said... "put money inside a book, African will never read it, so by effect they will never see the money"
If you ask me then I will say this. 1. Nairaland is book here 2. NAF job is money we are all looking for.
Many people come to this Group to ask 'funny' questions. Read other pages here, you will find most of the questions asked.
Please take your time to read, before you ask about time to resume, if we all must go on the first day, about past questions--- Check page 49 or it's there. etc.
Success to yall. And to the first lady Mimzy007, God bless you big time. Amen dear, God bless you too. |

Youngest409: You have not signed your attestation by now, does it mean you don't know any Principal in a gov schools ? you don't know LG Chairman? or Secretary... Guy talk as a graduate na, haba What has being a graduate got to do with it? Are you aware you may know 10 gov school principals and none is from your state? And the form states 'your LGA chairman or secretary ' if I am from Borno and live In PH that would be a distance and maybe work doesnt permit me it would be difficult to get to my Chairman. If you were lucky enough to find someone, it is not easy for alot of people .There are so many reasons why it has proved tough for alot of people . |

Yksoul: PLEASE,ADVISE ME.I UPLOADED 1984 BIRTH CERTIFICATE WITH AFFIDAVID TO THAT EFFECT,BUT 1980 WAS WRITTEN ON MY WAEC RESULT AND PRIMARY SCHOOL TESTIMONIAL DUE TO MISTAKE ON WAEC I STARTED TO CLAIM THAT AGE,BUT WHAT CAN I DO PLEASE.CAN I STILL GO? Let me get this straight, 1980 was printed on both your WAEC and Primary school testimonial? If that is what you are saying then it will be suspicious, why? Because these are 2 independent bodies with a few years apart in terms of issuing you the cert and to make the mistake of printing the same year won't fly. 1 can be seen as a mistake but 2 will bring cause for alarm. |

philipciveng: I tot it was mistake OOo...that means one should go and renew if later than....? it is simple, if you bring a declaration of age that is dated 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012 which is 4 years back it could mean you only recently did it to doctor your age, the newer the declaration the more suspicious. If someone brings one that was made in 2010 it makes more sense as he probably wasn't close to applying then, therefore musnt have thought of doctoring the age. |

Popsy1: The first line already asked for the name of your parent. Why put 'Name' again under. Plus you also filled name of parent online so they have your parent/next of kin info. I believe this document is independent of every other document and the list of info below binds you to the parent name above.
Plus, what on earth do they need your parent date of birth for? if you say the first line asked for your parents name how do you explain your parent writing your name again when it is already printed on the same form? If you filled your parent as NOK while applying what about others who did not? Are you aware that these people contact your parents or signees while you are in training as we have heard in some cases? They ask questions based on your documents presented and assuming they ask a parent for his or her date of birth and it is not what was presented it calls for further investigation as it may be that you gave false info. Well for those not satisfied seek the assitance of anyone who has better info. |

Derbyman: but we dont knw d date wen each state will b screened. any idea? In 2013 they didn't put up a schedule of activities on the site, everyone was there to be addressed the first day and for me in kaduna, as I left the base a large board was fixed visible enough for all to see and it stated the days states were to come for screening and from then on only candidates from the states to be screened on a particular day came. This schedule on the site thing is a new development. So if we don't see a schedule we have to go there on that first day chaotic as it maybe but what we know is it starts1st may, everyone should keep checking the site regularly for any update. |

Kenzolini: Good evening @Thomanad 1st of all I wish you nothing but success in the screening, furthermore wish to clarify if it's true that they asked airmen/airwomen applicants to come with all white (shirt, shorts & footwear, because someone claimed that you people were instructed to do so) and furthermore please could you give us any detail as to what we can expect and what may be prohibited (e.g. Calculator etc...) thanks and all the best.
Also @Mimzy007 thanks for your enlightenment so far, please if you could be kind enough to confirm from your relative if the above claims are true, would be helpful for all of us. Best wishes to you and your relative this year! Nobody was asked to bring those items, I don't know where people get such info from. Calculators are not allowed, we hear of people sneaking to use their phones. At this point nothing is spelt out as prohibited, refresh you memory before the exam, bring your docs as asked, do what you are asked to do at the venue. Sit for your exam and pray. |

So this is what a relative who applied for airmen told me. On the day her state was being screened they were asked to present their acknowledgement cards and their details were checked on the computer to confirm all was correct and a serial number was allocated to each candidate. Next their height was checked and she said the word going round is they are serious about the height requirement this time. They will put a Q or NQ on your acknowledgement card meaning Qualified or Not qualified, during documentation depending on the officer screening you some docs will be asked for, others may not be demanded. Bottom line some people were not allowed to sit for the exam due to height issues or something else, in fact they brought a height ruler to the venue of the exam to still check some people. Then the exam answer sheet was personalized,it had their names and ID number unlike before, this time people shaded answers . This is just to give you an idea of what may come our way. |
