The idea is to have an understanding on what its like, that its not that of NAF doesn't mean it is not useful when its not like you are expecting a repeat of questions. If nobody posts that of NAF you will still write that exam, It is the format you need to grasp.

Must be a Valid one to the military buh u can still try working with the one u have @hand that is, if it just expired. I know they give days of GRACE for a renewal they may consider u base-on it just expired. Coz its just like tendering an Expired Driver'§ License to a Road Safety Personnel when asked. U know the implication of this always ends up in settlement. Am not too sure buh that'§ my opinion tho, Maybe Mimzy can help out on this too

Though my qualification is B.Eng in Electrical Electronic Engineering, and I was once registered with Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) as a student member way back in school and I currently still have that their student membership Letter with me. This is very simple, Just go the Court and get your Affidavit of Change of Surname. When coming for the screening u come with it. Hope it helps?

Pls Mimsy or anyone who know best, for the benefit of the house, I will love you guys to throw more light on "This Professional Certificate thing" is it really compulsory that one presents the cert during the screening?? Or will not having the Cert stand as an hinderance on one'§ path? Let'§ take for instance, All Engineers are expected to be registered with the Nigerian Society of Engineers(NSE) or NIEEE etc and hence must have a Certificate from this very Body certifying that they belong there. You know its possible one is registered as a graduate Member but hasn't been given the cert yet. Just say something to the house for those professional Courses candidates that hasn't gotten it yet. Can they still move ahead with the process or opt out since NAF really emphasized on that in the advert??

The thing is this, if your field of study is one that you can't practice with a reputable org without your cert or in a case where if you don't have one you will be seen as a quack then you won't expect NAF to accept you. Engineering is a sensitive field and if other people show up with certificates one will be at a disadvange if he or she has none. I will ask a friend who is an engineer on how Strict it was during the last Enlistment process and let you know the feedback.

Although the passport photograph that will be countersigned may be the same one you scanned, it is necessary that your face can be recognized so I advice the stamp and signature should be at the back, as long as the signature and stamp tallies with the one on the attestation form you shouldn't have any problem. As for the size of the stamp, indeed not all of it will fit on the passport just make sure the heading on the stamp shows so they know it's the same one.

The people who can give you that letter are those same people listed, it was clearly stated on the site. Although it wasn't stated that it must be the same person who signed your LGA but it is the same caliber of people and a pastor or imam are not listed.

current employer under work experience. heres the direct address to the landing page of the online application portal http://www.careers.nigerianairforce.gov.ng/dssc/application. my challenge now is that i did remove what i wrote in the work experience column and tried moving forward twice yet i was still getting the same confirm email and phone number and once i clicked yes to proceed nothing else was forthcoming.

You are right mimzy. I sent a mail to the NAF about dis retired officer ish,i got a reply that a retired officer can not sign the attestation form.
My question now is how many people have/know a serving officer of high rank? I believe a lot of people are gonna come with retired persons signatures and NAF will just have to accept it.
Letter of attestation of good character,photocopy of international passport and passport of the person to sign.Most officers wont give out all these,how do NAF manage that.

Thank God you are here to testify. You see when some of us say something here it is not because we want to show ourselves, these people know what they put on their site and require from you and most importantly you don't want to fall scape goat. At the Zonal enlistment it is easy for them to overlook some things but at the selection board it is a different story, you don't expect them to let it slide when they are seeking people to drop. Do your part! If you think our opinion here is not satisfactory it's OK to find info from elsewhere, we too will learn from you, however please note that not everyone at the HQ and other places is fully aware of what is acceptable or not especially on this process, these people are busy, they are in the right place for info but they have other things to deal with and can give you answers based on assumptions. Help yourself, this is just a word of advice.

Did you fill in anything in terms of occupation at the bottom of the form? ( it's the last info required) if yes erase it and try submitting, everyone had that issue.

I honestly don't know what to tell you, it's either they respond to your mail or you call their helplines. Hopefully you will get an answer coz when you finally get the SMS for the zonal enlistment your app ID won't be in it, keep trying to reach them.
