So what kind of teenage profile would you prefer to be invited to the the senior national team? Just any teenager that you think is good should be included in your XI and leave out the experienced ones equally doing well in top leagues .

Any teenager that proved himself among the big boys have always been welcomed.
Iheanacho was not a Teenager at 2018 world cup, he was already 22yrs old

Simmy gatecrashed due to his performsnce in seria A.
Thats how the trend will always continue…if we have a decent, prolific promising teenager we suppose carry go world cup, one “otele” will just come out from no where to grab that slot

Don’t call Mozambique, Uganda etc where Nigeria is
That isn’t our level na
Tunisia do not have a good generation of players so they are really beneath us
We conceded 2 silly goals in that game
No be Tunisia dem beat 5 recently ?
We didn’t do well against Morocco, they controlled most of the game
We had only 2 shots
Watch Algeria first half, the ref gave most or all of the 50/50 duels to Nigeria
The ball even struck Ajayis arm in the PK box and the referee couldn’t even check when they complained, even though FIFA rule says ball hitting the thigh first isn’t a pen
There’s no recent proof we can beat the big guns in Africa in regular time
Can we beat Ivory Coast, Senegal, Ghana, Morocco, Egypt, DRC and South Africa in regular time ?
At least we are doing better than Cameroon sha lol
I think we need to get off our high horses and get to work
Decent countries don’t fear Nigeria outside Africa if you ask me
Can the big guns you mention also beat us in regular time, with all their qualifications to 100 worldcups?

Simmy picked form late toward the start of the world cup.. although he was scoring tap ins and penalties grin.. but the fact that he played in Serie A made it hard not to include him..
na true sha, but you see why most times we favour experienced over young prospects…
To me i go prefer chukwu to go with that party over that tap ins and penalties merchant of serie A who will not even stay 6months in super eagles before disappearing forever 😄😅after 4caps

ForwardsAhmed Musa (CSKA Moscow)Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City)Victor Moses (Chelsea)Odion Ighalo (Changchun Yatai)Alex Iwobi (Arsenal)Simeon Nwankwo (Crotone).

This is the attack we took to that World Cup, who do you think should have been dropped for a player who just started playing for Villarreal B team
Going with a young prospect Chukwueze over Simmy will pass for me…

If Nigeria is planning to win the next AFCON, they need to improve. Other Africa teams are really improving. Lookout at what morrocco play yesterday, very good team, with good quality and depth of player's. We still need more quality player's to be able to compete with the likes of morroco and Senegal.
This morocco fit come reach afcon now make Banana Banana send them packing in round 16🤣🤣

Why was a hot rising teenage sensation Chukwueze not taken to the 2018 worldcup

Delulu people here think Nigeria will get any result whatsoever against Switzerland lol
When we can’t get one against Poland
They think our football is superior to that of Qatar in 2026
Smh
Maybe we really need to start playing S/Korea, Japan etc to know our true level
Last time Nigeria was in the round of 16 at the World Cup was 2014
Baba Switzand and Poland dey same whatsapp group….stop making them look like Spain and Portugal…Switzerland cant beat a full strengthened super eagles team…nothing like delulu here

But Morocco press is d!e for that afcon match oo, though that Ghanaian ref killed most of our promising moves…but they hard countless scoring opportunities against us o

With the way Morocco is playing, and knocking Brazil hard and getting a goal…make una no vex oo…this guys look like world cup contenders oo…
This morocco team is full time upgrade of the last year’s worldcup…If Morocco is playing Brazil like this, it means so many smaller teams in their group or in their pathway will suffer oo.
Morocco is cr@zily a solid team meeehnn🔥🔥🔥

The U17 of 1987 made me fall in love with football. No light but I remember following my older cousins to watch the final against Russia which we outplayed Russia but unfortunately lost via penalties. Lemy Isah, Tony Emedofu, Philip Osondu, Nduka Ugbade, Dimeji Lawal still come to my mind. Then the daylight robbery of 88 afcon, 89 Daman miracle amd eventual heartbreak to Luis Figo's U21, 1989 u17 penalty loss to Saudi (Victor ikpeba, Godwin Opara etc), 1992 afcon SF loss to Ghana until 1993 when Kanu, Oruma, Babayaro gave me joy as a Nigerian fan and then 94 etc.
you be OG oo

You need 100℅ concentration to play these Asian teams. One moment, they're passing aimlessly, and then suddenly you concede. They will keep passing around till they carve you open.
Czech scored a disallowed goal…i was hoping for the game to end in a draw…..Korea looks like a serious team
