Others Yes, but definitely not Angola. That Team use naija eyes see shege. They stopped us from going to 2006 WC, they had decent players plying their trades in Portuguese league.
they won us 1-0 in luanda and we played out a 1 all draw under the scorching heat of Kano state(blame on NFF)..okocha and figueiredo’s late freekick🤦🏽‍♀️…we edged out on head to head rule that year

Senegal finished first to avoid a powerhouse but still got a powerhouse at the end 🤣🤣🤣
senegal should watch it, their record against host is poor, wether monstrous form or not
Algeria 1990
Ghana/Nig 2000
Tunisia 2004
Egypt 2006
EQG/Gab 2012
Their elimination was a courtesy of the host country..they should not underrate CIV ooo

see as Afcon underdog line up at the left side(except Nigeria,Morocco and Cameroon) and strong west contenders line at the right side(choi! Senegal,DRC,mali,b/faso,Equitorial guinea, egypt even CIV)

not as if all our top 9 in super eagles from golden generation days to these present days have scored more than 2goals in group stage of Afcon abi were they not also seeing chances?...most of them started becoming beastly infront of goal in KO stages.

i will blame everyone one that also missed chances from match day 1 till date
Osimhen missed chances
Aina missed chances
Ziadu missed chances
Chukwueze missed chances
Osayi missed chances
Lookman missed chances
Simon Missed missed
if all these guys had scored una for no dey reason osimhen.
when you hear super eagles statpading teams its not don by a single player from golden generation till now, other guys in those days that saw chances utilized their chances.
Rohr for bench ighalo for 2019 after scoring just only one goal in group stage na😏

Goal paocher with just one goal

I don't know how to tell you guys this
During AFCON an unexpected player most times steal the show
Like Amunike in 1994
Osaze in 2004
Sunday Mba in 2013

You give all your players chance to prove themselves you never can tell who the lucky one is

I will remind you guys when Nigeria leaves the tournament
All una no na to dey wish bad bad because coach no use una tactics…why cant you remind us whem we get to semifinals or final…Ighalo wey be highest goal score in 2019..how many goals he score for group stage..no be only 1goal…was it not against cameroon in round 16 he picked form…make una calm down for osimhen abeg…he should not be benched abeg.
What will you guys say if they bench him and start whoever you guys wish and Nigeria lose..what will you guys say…las las all of ina go hide under(jpes is this jpes is that)

Yea for 1 hour
Boy aint effective
We have to try others to see what they can offer
Moffi hasn’t even been tried in this tournament
How’d anybody know Equitorial Guinea striker would be Afcon top scorer at the moment. Someone who plays as right back in lower tier division
Moffi should be given his chance
The match be like extra time thing

bros in a tournament like this anybody can be the highest goal scorer…no b must make osimhen top chat…
let’s continue our game plan, especially the type we used against CIV and against EQG…at this level goal can come from anybody.
infact i will be happy Osimhen bagging assists for our winning goals or getting indirectly/directly involved in our goals if luck doesn’t shine on him to score,so far we win enter final..
make Equitorial guinea player collect highest goal, shey make we bet am dem no go cross quarterfinal?🖖

My AFCON winner prediction:
1. The eventual winner will come from West Africa
2. The eventual winner is coached by a native of the country
the last two editions has been won by local/native coach…its time for foreign coach to win it😀

Quite unfortunate. Houghton has coached at very high levels but the results with Ghana aren't that great.

My opinion- any African team looking for a European coach should make a pick from those familiar with the continent with a decent track record. It makes adaptation easier.

foreign coaches who can get job done in Africa tournaments if you dont want to hire a local coach👇🏽
Herve reinard(tested and trusted on occasions)

Tom Sanfiet(the current gambian coach is good)

Claude le roy(that old man na wizard)

Gernot rohr( though not that inspiring, but can also do a pretty job, hes been around africa for some years now)

Raul Savouy (current C.A.R coach..that man is on a lowkey good)

Hugo broos(current SA coach tested and trusted)

Paul put(the guy that led B/faso to afcon final 2013..also knows the african way)

Jose Peseiro🤣🤣(if Nigeria enters the final,or even semifinal if una like call P.E teacher he would by then be an African Hot cake🤪🤪)
Add yours to the list😀🙏

Nigeria vs Cameroon
Nigeria vs Angola
Nigeria vs Cape Verde
Nigeria vs Senegal
if we escape cameroon omo na straight to final…we wont be facing any of these north Africans wey sabi comot us for knock stages…if tunisia and morocco wins or draws they will top their groups or come second, and that will be leading them through the path of senegal

That moment Onana suddenly discovers form vs Nigeria. These countries shoulder dey rise once na SE. They better destroy that leaky Cameroon defense. Anguissa and Ekambi may be a problem in middle. The 343 should work well for us.

no be same onana see 4goals enter him post for uyo and he still see 3goals enter him post for 2019 afcon.🤣🤣

Let us throway our pride. Olise will become world class player in the nearest future. It's worth begging to play for us. Eze too is good. Nwakali should prove himself.

Abi no bi the same set em bi with Osimhen and Chuks wey dey claim ladder for dem career?

Awoniyi would have buried most of those chances but we can't rule out Osimhen link up play and positioning. Top notch.

Finishing come hard am this time around but I hope he comes good.
You want to go and beg olise to play for us, bros na so we take become see finish like this?
Olise is not ready to play for super eagles…if we dare beg dont just criticize him whenever plays unconvincingly cos he will announce his retirement the next morning…those kinda players you beg to play for you don’t tolerate all these kind of terrible criticism oo

I think they were being wary and very cautious of our attacking threat.

Although this has not been materializing but you can't have an attack comprising of fast and deadly players like Osimhen, Lookman, simon, Chuks, Iwobi and others ( in fact the whole of our attack)

We have the deadliest fronline in the AFCON on paper so they've got to be wary.
