Are you the one that exposed him,

your Pep that was recently appointed, where was he exposed in the last Afcon
whats doing this one?…if appointing eguavoen is your headache na that one concern you… does my post look like im comparing Peseiro to Eguavoen?…or does it reads like im coming here to glorify eguavoen…oga im taking a critique on a possible reason Peseiro went for an ultra defensive approach…he tactics was figured out whether you like it or not…he was 100% lucky against SA…those guys found a way to unlock our stubborn defense..im not coming here to argue wether eguavoen is better than peseiro
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by minfelix(m): 11:46am On Mar 02
what i noticed about peseiro was that he was trying to erase the curse of conceding goal first and later ending up drawing/losing the match
against lesotho
against Zimbabwe
against Equitorial guinea
against Guinea
Against Mozambique hence he decide to tweak his set up against CIV to ultra defense and rode on that luck till he was exposed in the final

JUST IN : Eguavoen steps in as Super Eagles interim coach.

He will be assisted by Finidi George, who has stayed the longest with Peseiro among all indigenous coaches appointed to work with the Portuguese by the Amaju Pinnick led board for 22 months.

Maestro will be back to the national team soon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nwakali on his way back😆😃…Eguavoen played full attaacking football vs Ghana in Abuja, Played Tunisia same…but both games were lost through goal keeping errors. i fancy eguavoen small…na small i talk ooo

Aside Westerhorf Nigeria has not really given chance to any other coach to prove the ascendancy of their learning and experience from previous afcon tournaments…we saw how it work for westerhorf
reached 1990 final vs Algeria we kept faith with him,
He led to us the 1992 Semifinal vs Ghana and lost, we still kept faith with him
He took us 1994 Afcon and we became champion…that was what also worked for senegal and Egypt…Rohr also was close
Amodu shuobu was close on 2occasions
Our own na to dey sack sack coaches anyhow

You must be smoking maragana. Emenike qualified Nigeria and won the nations cup on his first attempt while performing in big games and while osimehn is also a top class performer for the super eagles, he wasn’t as impressive for Nigeria as emenike thus far. You don’t want to perform at big games and you expect everyone to be mute because you be dangote

that means Emenike is also better than Yekini by winning afcon at his first trial…the way una dey analyze ball here ehhn🤣

e pain me Osimhen missed 2021 Afcon….Eguavoen’s squad and formation would have introduced osimhen greatly to the African tournament with likes of Iwobi,Nwakali, Iheanacho all available for that tournament..by 2023 afcon osimhen would have use goals to scatter everywhere, cos he would have gathered Afcon pressure and experience…by 2025 of we qualify watch a deadly osimhen.
Yekini First Afcon was in 1984(zero goal), by Afcon 1986 we didn’t qualify then he came back in 1988(scored only 1goal) then by Afcon 1990,1992,1994 baba was already a mad goal poacher…lets chill for Osimhen

Very balance input dude.

But I will still say the boys did well. Only they chose the wrong day to switch off. We should make our team be watching the Movie 300 spartans to condition their minds for war.

We will get ot right. At least we didn't jabo at round of 16 or semi final. We were finalists which meant ot could have gone either way. Being a host don't mean shishi. Ask Nigeria at Afcon 2000. 150 million people went quiet at the stadium
so surulere national stadium capacity na 150million🤣

Next year afcon will be more tough then this Morocco is hosting I expect the north Africa countries like Algeria, Egypt, and Morocco to go far in the tournament .they usually perform very well if one of those countries host the afcon in north Africa. The coach that is taking over should scout for a proper number 10 that can distribute pass and dictate play before next afcon and world cup qualifier .

oga nobody is coming anything to distribute pass…no player will come into the eagles now and perform wonders by next year Afcon…if u guys finally find the player na same una here go use mouth destroy his confidence at any small mistake he would make…This annoying zero-tolerance of mistake by 9ja fans is so annoying.
when one moniker jus make mention of a few player not doing well at the moment you will see other soldier ant-like fans joining in banter and before you know that once worship demi-god is now useless player suddenly

Samuel Chukweze and Alex iwobi were absent in that match yesterday . Super eagles have reached the afcon finals 8 times and have won 3 time . We should start taking finals serious once we get there I just checked ivory coast record they have gotten to afcon finals 4 times and it 3 times . May fear is that they should not over take us in the afcon trophy cabinet. Ghana have 4 - Nigeria -3 , Ivory coast - 3 trophy in the cabinet now

with this statistics, nobody should come here again and hype one nonsense golden generation playing an 8team- Afcon tournament and getting beaten at almost all the final…imagine cameroon beating you in 3finals…abeg abeg mae una free iwobi and co, their predecessors were the main all time underachieving over-hype golden generation….Iwobi this Iwobi that.
intimidating young Nigerians playing their heart out for the nation…i follow Bafana Bafana page…see the massive support and how they rallied behind their players after that penalty loss to eagles…our own because Aina loss penalty some idiots have started talking him down….all these useless black smelling teeth analyst masquerading themselves as super eagles fans na God go punish ina…
Frustrate Okoye to quit eagles
Frustrated Vic Moses to quit eagles
Frustrated Ighalo to quit eagles
now they wanna frustrate Iwobi….walai if i be osimhen and any f**king blame comes to my page i will hire boys that will handle the page to give u guys the back to back vawulence and quit ina f**king eagles team…i love the response uzoho gave all those useless critics that period

were the deaths related to VAR? shebi it's because we still won the game, imagine it was 0-0 and we scored and it was canceled and 1-0 for naija became 1-0 for SA, do you know how many deaths we will be recording now? I can bet some researchers at FIFA are already looking into this

Make we no argue too much, Euros is coming up in June, we go see how it will go there.

or imagine that south african defender scored that rebound from Nwabali’s punch…many people for perish die to cardiac arrest that night

AFCON 98 was the last time an AFCON final ended with more than a goal margin.

Expecting an edgy encounter, either 1:0 or 2:1.

We are yet to score more than a goal in a game so far. Boys need to be at their clinical best as chances no go too dey...sad hearing loss of lives cos of the tension of yesterday's game.
no b 2-0 we beat cameroon?
