Netherland 1-0 loss to Algeria means morocco moves to 7th place on Fifa ranking…
Portugal 5th - 1763.83
Brazil 6th - 1762.66
Morocco 7th- 1756.94
they are close to breaking our record of best ever african ranked team (5th), just 6.89 points behind Portugal

Let me agree with those saying Nwabali would have saved the long range shot. But could he have also saved the close range chances and the one-on-one with Lewandowski?
this is where blaming Nwabali comes in…people should stop feeling bad when a player is held accountable for a blunder made….not everything agenda or h@ting on a player…its simply the obvious we saw…
left for me im confident in Nwabali,Okoye and Arthur manning our post…doesn’t mean they can’t commit blunders or take a wrong foot

Shot beats keeper
Keepers saves shot

As much as this one beat Okoye, it can still be saved by Okoye….i will repeat am again…if okoye had saved that shot, we go praise am enter heaven…
Its save-able abeg, make una no come dey emotionally gaslight people to making us feel bad for blaming Okoye for not saving the shot

From this angle, Okoye couldn't have done much
bro this top goal post angle/view make the player seem close to box 18….from that side view which is the true view, the distance far for all those curler curler to beat the goal keeper

That shot will best even Buffon. It was the fault of the midfielders and the defenders to have allowed him to take that shot.
omo no vex i disagree oooo….you people should bring similar shot like this that beat buffon…buffon played from late 90’s till this dispensation of 2000’s we are in…this kind goal did not beat buffon…if there is any make una post make we see…this one distance far abeg

Are you people trying to blame Okoye for not saving a swerving shot?? ??
we are not blaming him, we are simply saying it’s a saveable shot…not even in front of box18….that thing was just inches away from the middle line oooo

Na save wey Enyeama use retire Ike Shorunmu b that oo….
Okoye is an amazing goalkeeper, but somehow somehow sand dey always pour for him garri🤣🤣…
Even that game against Tunisia at afcon 2021…He made one sweet save like that, but that samd dey always find him garri….
Another thing again i will blame the players around that position to have allowed that polish guy to pick a spot to shoot
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by minfelix(m): 10:19pm On Jun 03
Small thing people will same “why are you guys emotional”
oga if okoye had saved that shot Nwabali would by now be kissing that nomber 1 shirt goodbye…Forget how the polish player played the shot, topnotch savers will save that ball…
Ball wasn’t deflected oo, the was coming straight at him…he simply did not position him self to punch that shot away….that was a punchable saving shot…the ball beating Okoye made the polish goal look like one extraordinary goal

Do u let players play to the age of Messi and Ronaldo? Why should they feel like na their papa get am? Even Oshoala at 31 is holding on for dear life in the Super Falcons.

Btw Moses didn't come back but ighalo did. I can't remember the team but Messi missed a friendly and went on vacation before moving to Inter Miami.
Wisdom is profitable to direct, even though we no say no b their papa get am, as a professional player you don’t need to tell fans looking up to you and even telling them in that raging manner/tone….

No b there papa get am sha, but once upon a time in the beginning the way some of dem dey beg to be slotted or be picked dey usually be like say na there papa business them wan come do

It's terrible, honestly. I will never criticise ex-players like Oliseh and Ikpeba again, who always find something to say about the current Eagles and their mentality as they keep proving them right about some things. Am done defending this current team, especially against the ex players.
Me i just wanna see Eric Chelle build us another powerful team…and also NFF to keep organizing quality friendlies

Very sad that many of our players have over the years had poor attitude towards national team representation or have entitlement mentality.

Look at Brazil as a contrast. Players and their families doing vigils to see if they will be called up. Celebrating call ups and invitations as if they have even won the WC itself.

The Nigerian national team needs reorientation. Especially for the men. Thank God the women get it.
asin eehn serious orientation

38 years old lewandowski will play the friendly but our own superstar who is not injured nor involved in sorting out club transfer issues (he came out and said it himself) decided that playing in the friendly match is not worth his time. Its ok. The sooner the team works well without him the better.
Those white guys have natural love for the game…Thats why you see Ronaldo still wanna play till 2070 worldcup, Thats why you see Lewandowski 38yrs no gree hang boot but turning up for inconsequential friendly, thats why we saw Messi sometimes ago announced his retirement from Argentina national team in 2016 but rescinded his decision to come back (if na black man make that announcement, sope otilor(e.g Victor Moses).

Africans(Especially Nigeria) with mentality of senior manism….
forming humility from days of (u17/u20/u23/awaiting first national team call up), once they become established them no send una papa again…some will use language of “Super eagles no b my papa get am, if dem no wan call me up again no wahala, i go simply F off”
was that the energy in your formative/debut days? NO!

If I were Chelle, I would rest all our stars. We are not World cup bound
Unity cup has addressed that….

Portugal/Poland is a serious friendly, its not meant to only prepare Portugal for worldcup but to also give us a standard team shape and improved ranking

We are not world cup bound but we are “Afcon 2027 qualifiers in september bound” and we are fifa ranking bound

Lets sha b ready for afconQ, cos i had a dream last night that we did not qualify and it was terrible scenes i saw in that dream😊😊😀…thank God its just a dream

He may turn out to be another Benjamin Frederick. We wouldn't be talking about Benjamin today if Chelle ain't extended an invitation to him while he was still playing for Brentford U20.
speaking of this Benjamin Fred, his absence away from super eagles is now becoming something else,is he still injured?
Immediately Calvin Bassey made a debut appearance in 2022, that guy has never looked back…i expect same for Benjamin na

I love Osimhen and Lookman, but if at the end them no win anything for super eagles, the younger generation of fans coming are free to call them ekuke super eagles.
Una reach final CIV beat una
Una play Ghana H/A unano fit qualify to worldcup
Una dey same group win eba teams(Lesotho,SA,Zimbabwe,Rwanda,Benin) una no fit go worldcup…
Make una come play quality friendly to keep you in shape una dey form una dey form senior men🤣🤣

wo for now 1994 set of super eagles will continue to be the best generation Nigeria has ever had…by 2030 world cup, its only like 2 or 3 of these guys that will remain in super eagles, Osimhen and Lookman better no lose form by that time or playing in one mickey mouse league, else their inclusion in world cup list when there are hot players will have fans calling for the head of the coach

UNITY cup eagles are already gathering clouds, we just need to have 1 or 2 young ruthless striker in shape of (Emenike,Aghahowa,Utaka,Aiyegbeni,Ighalo)
Because its looking like an uphill task getting a like-for-like Osimhen
