Tetehjewels: Osinbajo is from RCCG and RCCG has over 32000 parishes in Nigeria.
Let's assume that each Parish has a minimum of 200 adult members, multiply that by 32,000 and that would be 6,400,000 votes (assuming they all fall behind him.
Then Adeboye links up with Oyedepo and Oyedepo advocates for votes for Osinbajo via his ministry...
Long story short, if leading Churches fall behind Osinbajo owing to the fact that this would be the first time a Pastor would be vying for the position of the President of Nigeria, then you can be rest assured that Osinbajo would win.
However, all plans have to be covertly done to achieve that You are speaking of general election. It's in the primary that PYO will have challenges because only party members will elect and those pastors you mentioned don't belong to any political party. That is why the two need to reach a consensus before the primaries. |

I know we all have the fairy tale dream of meeting the love of our life, falling madly in love, getting married and having kids. Some have even visualised the number of kids - two boys and two girls.
However, we must all face the hash reality that not everyone will get married or even have kids. As such everyone of us must have a backup plan.
My plan has always been to adopt a child even if I get married , because obviously I'll be marrying in my 40's. So whether I have a child later or not I planned to adopt an older child like 8-10 years old.
So what about you, any plan B?

Crime › Bethel Pupil Rejected Freedom, Ransom Bearer Abducted – CAN Chairman by Minjim(op): 12:39am On Feb 05, 2022 |
THE Chairman of the Christian Association in Kaduna State, Rev John Hayab, has raised the alarm over the abduction of one of its members sent to deliver the ransom for the release of the remaining kidnapped Bethel Baptist High School pupil by terrorists. Hayab, who’s also the Vice Chairman of CAN in the northern states and Abuja, also disclosed that the remaining pupil, said to be the youngest of the abductees, rejected an offer of freedom from the terrorists. According to the President, Baptist Conference, Rev Ishaya Jangado, 121 pupils were kidnapped by bandits in the early hours of July 5, 2021, at the school premises along the Kaduna-Kachia highway, Damishi, in the Chikun Local Government Area of the state The bandits had released 120 of the pupils in batches. However, the CAN chairman said that the teenager preferred to remain with the bandits, a development that puzzled the entire members of the Baptist family and indeed, CAN. Hayab explained that the bandits were said to be showering the boy with gifts each time they went out and come back from operations, thereby, making him reject the offer of freedom. The CAN leader, who spoke to Saturday PUNCH in Kaduna on Thursday, said, “Only one pupil of the Bethel Baptist High School is remaining with the terrorists. The reason is that this young boy – because we have to be clear with the story so that we don’t get misquoted – is the smallest among them. “I think the kidnappers were smart. They worked and changed his mind that he even said he wants to stay with them. They (terrorists) gave him meat, good things. Anytime they go out and come back, they pick him among the rest and give him so many things and then he starts acting funny. “If they (terrorists) tell him to go home, he would say he was not going and gave some flimsy excuses that his parents used to beat him at home. But we also made findings and we don’t want to expose his parents to any noise but that is what he (the pupil) said. We are confused too.” “But I understand they (terrorists) are playing mind games with him by giving him gifts and convincing him to talk that way. But last week, they (terrorists) asked us to bring some money (ransom) to come and take him. The person who took the money to them was kidnapped. The person is with them as I speak now (on Thursday). “So, it’s a very complicated situation that we are praying and managing with care. The man who has been helping us to deliver the money (ransom) all this while went to deliver the money to free this boy they were confusing and they kidnapped him. So, the whole thing is taking a different dimension and we need to be careful.” https://punchng.com/bethel-pupil-rejected-freedom-ransom-bearer-abducted-can-chairman/?utm_source=telegram&utm_medium=social

Business › Oil Soars Above $93, Nigeria’s Revenue Prospects Brighten by Minjim(op): 12:26am On Feb 05, 2022 |
The international oil benchmark, Brent crude, extended its gains on Friday, rising above $93 per barrel, in what is a potential boost to Nigeria’s crude oil export revenue.
Brent crude, against which Nigeria’s oil is priced, hit a fresh seven-year high of $93.44 per barrel as of 4:15pm Nigerian time on Friday, trading more than $30 higher than the Federal Government’s benchmark for the 2022 budget.
The 2022 budget, which was signed by President Muhammadu Buhari in December, was based on oil production of 1.88 million barrels per day, with an oil benchmark price of $62 per barrel.
For Nigeria, which relies on crude oil for about 50 per cent of government revenues and over 90 per cent of export earnings, rising oil price means increased revenue.
On the other hand, rising oil price also translates to increased cost of petroleum products as the country depends heavily on imports due to a lack of domestic refining.
A winter storm in the United States is behind the latest oil price rally, fuelling concerns about production outages in the Permian Basin, the largest US shale play, according to Reuters.
Nigeria has not been able to leverage the oil price rally as its crude oil production has remained below the quota given to it by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries in recent months.
The PUNCH reported this week that Nigeria missed its crude oil output quota for January 2022, pumping 1.46 million bpd as against a quota of 1.68 million bpd.
“Crude oil terminal maintenance, shutdown, vandalism, and reduced investments in the oil sector have continued to undermine oil production, masking the gains from increasing oil prices,” analysts at CSL Stockbrokers Limited said in a new report.
According to the report, the Petroleum Industry Act 2021, which was signed into law by the President on August 16, 2021 to repeal the extant Petroleum Act 2004, creates provisions and innovations that will affect various aspects of the oil and gas industry.
The analysts said, “We are hopeful that it will result in increased investments in the oil and gas sector. We project crude oil production (including condensates) will reach 1.75mbpd in 2022. While this is an improvement from 2021 levels, it still lags the five-year average of 1.85mbpd.
“We expect the continued elevated crude oil price, coupled with the passage of the PIA, to incentivise drilling activities. Beyond this, we expect the commencement of 160,000 Amukpe-Escravos export terminals in H2 2022 to support crude oil production.” https://punchng.com/oil-soars-above-93-nigerias-revenue-prospects-brighten/?utm_source=telegram&utm_medium=social

Crime › Police Arrest Prison Escapee For Beheading Retired Cop In Imo by Minjim(op): 12:19am On Feb 05, 2022 |
The Imo State Police Command on Friday said it had arrested the leader of a cult group who allegedly beheaded a retired Chief Superintendent of Police, Christian Kpatuma. In a statement on Friday by the spokesperson for the command, Micheal Abattam, disclosed that the suspect, Deberechi Chukwu, was one of the inmates who escaped from the Owerri Correctional Centre on April 5, 2021. Abattam said that after escaping from the prison facility, the suspect recruited some boys who killed and maimed residents of Agwa in the Oguta Local Government Area of the state. The police spokesperson said Chukwu was fleeing the state after killing the retired CSP when he was arrested by operatives of the command. Kpatuma was said to have been killed and his corpse dumped in front of his compound after he was abducted from his home by suspected cultists on Tuesday. “In the course of the investigation, it was revealed that the suspect, Deberechi Chukwu, is a notorious kidnapper and an escapee from the Imo Correctional Center Owerri, Imo State. The suspect, after escaping from the Imo Correctional Centre, recruited young men into his cult group and they terrorised Agwa community. “It is also on record that he was involved in the killing of a lot of security personnel in the state. However, he has made a useful statement and has volunteered to assist the police in the arrest of other members of his gang presently on the run,” the police statement added. https://punchng.com/police-arrest-prison-escapee-for-beheading-retired-cop-in-imo/?utm_source=telegram&utm_medium=social |

The presidency is a very strong position especially in Nigeria but when it's occupied by a weak and bigotry person, it becomes weak. That's why wise people say that a group if dogs led by a lion will do more than a group of lions led by a dog.
Buhari is weak, nepotistic, incompetent leader and he's surrounded by self-serving and praise-singing opportunists.
Take that same office and give it to a strong willed competent and incorruptible person and see how he'll perform |
